Honestly could not recommend Goosehill Cattery enough! I was so nervous to leave Mylo for our first family holiday and we paid extra for the catcam and saw nothing but love and care towards Mylo by the Goosehill team. They were absolutely amazing and will definitely be using them again!

The team here are incredibly reassuring — not just to our cat, but to us as owners too, which made such a difference when we first left him.

The first time was really difficult, but with each visit it’s become much easier. Seeing how relaxed and happy he is when he comes home gives me real peace of mind that he’s well cared for. He’s now stayed about 8 times, and I feel completely comfortable leaving him for his 'holiday' while we’re away.

The chalets are always clean and well maintained, with lovely views of the gardens. There’s plenty to keep cats entertained, especially if they enjoy sitting and watching the world go by from their little chairs in the tropical garden setting, or up high on their shelves so they can look out of their “bedroom” window. In winter, they even provide heated beds and lamps to keep them cosy.

I really appreciate the photo updates — it’s so nice to see him playing or having cuddles while we’re away.
It’s clear the team genuinely love cats, they are all lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend this cattery.

This is Henry G 3rd visit to Goosehill. His chalet is spotless and I always know he is safe and sound. Always well looked after and given new toys to play with , he was brushed and happy. He is a vocal boy who does not like being in his cat carrier on the journey there or back! He was happily curled up on his shelf so I know he had overcome the indignity of being put in his carrier!

Thanks to Ian , Julie and the staff that look after him , it’s so tranquil and peaceful for all the little fur babies.

My cat Max always loved his time at Goosehill Cattery. He was so looked after by all of the team, was well fed and cared for. The rooms are spacious and hold everything needed for a pleasant cat stay. I would recommend to anyone.

This is the only Cattery we trust and from experience know our cat is well looked after .Alex had an injury that was still healing from they went above beyond bathing it and keeping an extra eye on him. Gave us updates so we reassured whilst away.

Lovely cattery - this was our cats’ fifth stay and his longest one yet at 34 nights.
Lots of updates and videos throughout his stay to put my mind at ease and he seems very happy and content when we drop him off. Highly recommend.

My cat has stayed at Goosehill many times now and I highly recommend this cattery. The whole place is spotless, the cats have plenty of room in their pens and a lovely view as well. My cat was there for a few days at the end of February and when she arrived the heat lamp was already on so it felt nice and warm and welcoming for her. She is always looked after really well and on longer stays the owners send me photo updates. The owners and staff are very attentive and absolutely understand cats and their behaviours. I trust them completely with my cat.

Took our kitten Purrdi to Goosehill Cattery the 1st time last week whilst we were on a short break, we were a little worried as she had never been left before. Everything was fine she seemed to enjoy it we were updated with pictures so we could see she was OK . She's booked in for two more stays later in the year. Thanks to all the staff for taking good care of Purrdi.

Been using Goosehill for a number of years with no problems at all. Cat clearly well looked after (getting groomed twice daily which she loves) - happy cat = happy owner.

Absolutely first class! The cattery is like an ‘animal spa’ music in the background, waterfall and fountain view from their cat chalet and Sooty was treated so lovely. Wouldn’t have any hesitation in recommending . I rented the catcam facility and was able to see Sooty any time of the day. Hope this puts people’s minds at rest when considering/hesitating putting their cat into a cattery - Goosehill Cattery is amazing!

We're always happy to leave Monty and Neelix at Goosehill Cattery because I know they will get the best care and attention possible. I get the feeling that it's not just a business to the owners, but that they really do love cats. And they were really understanding when the cats had to have an extra night at the Cattery when we were snowed in at Whitby!

Cat has stayed here a few times now, and is always excellently cared for by the team, who make such an effort to get to know the cats who stay with them. He's a big fan of the heat lamps and all the attention he gets. Thank you all for looking after him so well.

Cristine and Wilson enjoyed their stay over Christmas 2025. They are regular guests at Goosehill Cattery always settle into their comfortable surroundings straight away.

When arriving back home they are chilled and calm. On Christmas day they had a great Toy Fish as a pressie, so kind. Our Fur family are always looked after so well and I'm always so happy with the personal care they receive.

George my cat is a regular guest at this luxury cattery. We had a friendly welcome and George was soon making himself at home. The care here is excellent, all designed to make the cats comfortable and happy from the heated beds to the fountain and shrubs outside. George likes watching the birds. He had been groomed and looked really happy and healthy. Thank you so much!

I have taken my cat here for a few years, it’s in a peaceful area and always really clean. The staff are all lovely and get to know your cat’s personality. I’m always confident she’s safe and well looked after.

Was very nervous putting our much loved kitty into a cattery, dont know why he was fine,he was very chilled when he returned home,definitely would recommend this cattery, very homely, lovely cattery, he will be staying again in February

This was my first time leaving my cat in the care of anyone but friends or family and the staff at Goosehill were amazing. So comforting and patient with my kitty, who was incredibly scared when I dropped her off.

Would highly recommend Goosehill cattery! I can’t thank them enough; the pens were clean and cosy andLuna was well cared for.

I would not like to leave my fur babies anywhere else. They are very well looked after & usually come home more groomed than when I dropped them off. I can’t thank them enough for looking after them.
