Poor experience ordering online. Used the collect option at the store, but the status never changed from ‘we are preparing your order’ in the store app. The website very much discourages coming down until a pickup confirmation was received, so didn’t feel great going down to the store to enquire.

We can see that your order has now been collected from the selected collection address.
We are saddened to learn that that our website did not make you feel great about visiting the store before receiving the email to advise that the order is ready to collect. This is intended to prevent our customer's making wasted visits and we apologise that you were left feeling this way. This is not the level of service that we aim to provide.

Excellent customer service from Lewis
Today we were served by Lewis. He approached us and asked if we needed any help. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable on products we needed help buying but also he was very polite. His customer service skills were outstanding. I recommend giving this employee a promotion!

Buying an ebike
We went to buy a bike, near the end of the day quite near to closing time but Josh was extremely helpful and patient, gave us all the information we needed and we bought the bike, very happy customers. All staff were very helpful.

Camping chairs had been used!
We visited the Exeter store and purchased 2 x Kentucky chairs. Unfortunately when we got home we realised that the chairs had been used. They were covered in grass and one chair had a child's sticker on it.

Sofiia could not have been more helpful
Having had great service from Lewis yesterday in buying a pair of walking boots, I came back again today for a pair of summer trainers. I received excellent helpful advice
I received excellent helpful advice & service on a busy Saturday from Lewis in the footwear department. I had to try several different makes to achieve a suitable fit. He was patient and genuinely keen to help. I purchased 2 pairs of shoes and 2 pairs of socks. This is the second time in 3 weeks I have shopped here - that was also a very positive experience. In total I spent around £350. Keep up the good work!
