GO Outdoors - High Wycombe (Express) Bewertungen

Love going into Go Outdoors in High Wycombe. gives me lots of inspiration for my next adventure. Lot's of choice and everything I need for my next climb, walk and camp. Prices are quite high for some of the branded coats and clothing, but they are quality items, so guess you get what you pay for.
Such a shame it's closing down in Jan, but hopfully the cheerful, friendly staff stay their happy, helpful selves and move on with a smile.

Richard gave first class customer service knowledgeable in fitting for shoes very helpful extremely impressed very rare to get customer service at this high standard well done thank you

Very pleasant experience today. Although the shop was very busy, but Richard spent appropriate of time to make sure that I chose the correct size. He brought down 6 pairs with no hesitation whatsoever and very quickly. Extremely pleasant and attentive. Overall atmosphere of the shop was very friendly too.

Great product and excellent staff made the whole shopping experience great

Shopping for footwear is never easy when you have wide feet and a high instep, but Darc from High Wycombe took all my requirements into account and found the best option for me in no time at all. Great service!

Very helpful and good service. Came away a very happy customer

I visited the Go Outdoors Express store in High Wycombe with my family yesterday (18th July) as we prepare for our very first family camping trip, and we had a fantastic experience.

Adam and Sue were absolutely brilliant. They were friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the different tents, camping equipment, and all the essentials we would need. They also shared valuable practical tips and things to consider as first-time campers, which made us feel much more confident about our choices.

Their honest advice, professionalism, and willingness to help made our shopping experience enjoyable and stress-free. It's clear they have a wealth of knowledge and genuinely care about helping customers find the right products rather than simply making a sale.

I would highly recommend Adam and Sue to anyone looking for expert advice on camping equipment. If you're planning a camping trip, Go Outdoors is definitely the place to visit. Thank you both for making our first camping shopping experience such a positive one!

Wanted to arrange click and collect after finding products on line, but not very obvious how to achieve. Eventually found, ordered and paid. Only then discovered products would not be ready for collection for 4 hours! (Should share timeline before paying)
Called the store directly (which is rare these days to be able to get through) and spoke to very helpful assistant. He stated that if I visited after just 2 hours he would do everything to expedite the order.
On arriving at the store, two other assistants were extremely helpful and brought products within 5 minutes. Very good customer service and polite and engaging staff. (If the on-line process was more obvious, the whole experience would have been excellent)

Lovely and pleasant member of staff called Darc who went above and beyond to help us out. Would definitely recommend store for comprehensive selection of items for camping even though it’s a relatively small shop, got everything I needed at a really good and competitive price for most things. Would definitely go again and recommend the membership :) Thanks Darc

The staff were friendly and helpful, and knew what they were talking about when it came to recommendations on shoes.

Ordered a double sided pan online to collect in store. Unfortunately the pan was damaged but easily returned to store and refund arranged. Reordered and pan was perfect. Good service and helpful staff in store

Good service, knowledgeable and informative on my purchase thanks Darc

Knowledgeable and helpful staff, discussing pros and cons of wet weather options, and the most appropriate for my particular use case.

Served by Darc who clearly knew what he was talking about, from experience.

Richard was very welcoming and helpful. I was shopping for my south coast walk and he recommended all the gear I needed. Thanks so much, we'll be back :) Paula

Came in for DOfE equipment and staff very helpful and knowledgeable

Richard knew his stuff

Fantastic Service from Richard!
We visited the store to get my daughter kitted out with hiking shoes for her **Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Award**, and we were lucky enough to be helped by **Richard**.
Buying the right gear for DofE can feel a bit overwhelming, but Richard made the entire experience incredibly easy and stress-free. Here is why he was so brilliant:
* **Expert Knowledge:** He truly understood the specific demands of the DofE expeditions and guided us toward shoes that offer the perfect balance of ankle support, waterproofing, and durability.
* **Patient & Detail-Oriented:** He took the time to properly measure her feet, check the fit with hiking socks, and had her walk around the store to ensure there was absolutely no slipping or pinching. He didn't rush us for a second.
* **Great Attitude:** Richard was incredibly friendly, encouraging to my daughter, and genuinely passionate about making sure she’ll be comfortable on her treks.
Thanks to Richard, my daughter has total confidence in her new gear, and I have peace of mind knowing her feet are well protected. If you need expert advice and top-tier customer service, ask for Richard!
