Luc at the Taunton store was so helpful when we visited today. So much so that my wife went in for a hat and managed to spend £300 on numerous other unplanned purchases.
Luc deserves a pay rise!

Service was great. Came to replace mine and daughters walking boots. Met James who was a huge help. Nothing was too much trouble and he was able to accommodate and support us in making a great choice. Didn't mind at all when my daughter wanted to try on 5 different pairs to see which ones she preferred.

Went in to exchange a tent for a different model, and bought a roof box also, all staff very helpful and Alex and Ross helped with getting the larger purchases to my car which I would have struggled with on my own. Great service and friendly staff.

Johnathan served me and helped me to buy a new pair of walking boats for dog walking. He didn’t try to push me into any particular pair and he was knowledgeable about quality and price points. He listened carefully and I am very happy with my purchase.

Needed walking boots for my children, where James was so helpful, giving us tips to get the right boots, and advice on getting the correct size. Very patient whilst my wife tried on a number of different boots, in varying sizes.
Left with 3 pairs of perfectly fitting and suited boots.

Went in looking for a new pair of hiking boots, James helped me and was very knowledgeable, A real merit to the company. Helped me pick out the right boot without feeling like he was flogging the most expensive one and was actually helping me choose to my need's. Every employee I interacted with was friendly and helpful.

We went into grab some fishing gear not really having any idea what we needed. Their fishing guy was on holiday but Jamie stepped up even though he was just as knowledgeable as we were. Jamie’s customer service was fantastic and he did everything he possibly could so we could go away with everything we needed. He even messaged the fishing guy, who was on holiday, who even replied and helped as much as he could. Thank you fishing guy for taking the time on your holiday to help us out! Jamie was very friendly and very helpful and is a credit to the company. Thank you Jamie!

Went in to buy new walking boots and was helped by Jonathan. He helped me choose the best boot for my budget and needs and even let me try on different types of boot to get an idea of how comfortable each pair were. All the staff were friendly and approachable. Impeccable service by all especially Jonathan!

Jonathan’s help with sorting the right Nordic walking poles was very good and many many thanks.

Jonathan was very patient and helpful when trying different boot sizes and sock commination to find the best fit.

Went not knowing best type of walking shoe to buy replacing the ones giving me blisters currently. Jonathan’s advice and help sorted the right pair to buy.

Still waiting for delivery to store since 11th August. Estimated collection was the 18th August. No email received confirming delay or any form of update.

Dan the till man was the nicest guy I’ve ever met, he helped with my tent and blow up bed. Behind all of that he saved my cat from a fire. GIVE THIS MAN A PAY RISE

James was absolutely brilliant at helping us find the right walking boots for what we needed, he was thorough in finding us the best style and type which would benefit us specifically for the jobs we were doing and new when and how we needed to care for them to keep them in good quality, he spent as long as we needed with us, for us to leave with the boots, insoles and laces! We’d definitely come again, his customer service was exceptional!

Staff in Taunton Somerset are great. The men on the shop floor went to the trouble of going upstairs for me so I didn’t have to (I have disabilities). Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. A few days before I’d purchased a tent and the same man who went upstairs this time carried the tent out to the car for me.
