I was recruited by an agent at GPDQ, Michelle, and was informed that there was a requirement for approximately 70 hours of Advanced MSK work per week, with the role expected to continue for at least 12 months. Naturally, this appeared to be an excellent opportunity and was a significant factor in my decision-making.
Unfortunately, there were a number of concerns during the onboarding process, including the absence of a confirmed start date and a lack of clarity regarding the hours available. My eventual start date was also delayed by several weeks beyond what had initially been proposed.
More concerningly, less than three months after commencing the role, I was informed that my hours would be reduced by 50%. This was despite the assurances provided during the recruitment process regarding both the volume of work available and the anticipated duration of the contract.
Having worked as a locum clinician for almost 10 years, I can honestly say this has been one of the most disappointing recruitment experiences I have encountered. Based on my experience, I would advise prospective locums to exercise caution and seek clear written confirmation of hours, demand, and contract expectations before committing to work through this agency.
I applied for the role of ANP via GPDQ on behalf of Virtue Healthcare. I was interviewed by 2 different team members over a few months, Following this I was then advised I would then be onboarded. I had to undertake online checks, references and multiple e-learning modules in order to meet requirements for this. I completed these and received no objections to their validity. I was advised by Chantelle Misty a full time salaried position was available in October 2025.
I signified my interest after this and never received an email back re this until last week (March). This was following multiple emails to both Chantelle Mistry and Michelle Gray both in the recruitment department. It displays a shocking lack of communication and is frankly a poor reflection on GPDQ.
Avoid. Waste of time. In keeping with all other negatives. Unprofessional, misleading and dishonest. Failure to communicate. Failure to follow up. This applies to recruitment agents, managers and the complaints department.
My experience has been not good, really poor communication and unprofessional. Perhaps I’ve just been unlucky but wouldn’t trust them. No apologies for their errors! Thread carefully.
Helpful and friendly staff. Chantelle was my initial contact and great with questions and onboarding support .
I am rating high to GPDQ based on the recent experience with the company. I particularly would like mention Chantelle for her professionalism and making the onboarding process smooth and quick.
Good experience with this company so far, I rate them highly. I dealt with Chantelle in the recruitment process and she was and still is absolutely amazing! She basically took me by the hand through the onboarding process, keeping me updated and was very polite and responsive in a professional way. Its been a pleasant working with her and I think she's an asset to this company.
I would rate the company very highly. I initially dealt with Chantelle, who was absolutely fantastic. She guided me through the whole onboarding process, keeping me updated at every step. Whenever I had any questions she was able to answer them promptly, always in a professional and friendly manner.

Friendly and efficient. What else do you need! Both ladies put us at ease and we had the printed result pretty quickly, plus it arrived on phone. Very happy about something I had a slight dread of. There was absolutely no need. All worked perfectly and I would recommend having it done here.

The airport parking fee was covered that was a good surprise. The people who were there were kind and answered my questions.
Easy, simple procedure. As I was the only one there I was straight in and out. Not surprised the Norwich Airport outlet is closing in September. Did seem rather expensive at £90 though.

I had a PCR test at Exeter Airport at 14.45 on Wednesday afternoon for a flight to Qatar on Friday morning.
I was assured that the result should be with me for a 10a.m. check-in. It wasn't.
I rang the helpline, and the person I spoke to was reasonable but said that I should have been advised that 48 hours means 48 hours - I wasn't.
I missed my flight and had to get the next one, arriving at my destination over 4 hours later than planned.
