We have been using the company for ages and have always been very impressed with their operation. I am writing this review following the second visit over the last year by Ollie, the next generation of the family and friends Sussex business , prompted by the aging process of machines installed in a home renovation a decade ago. I am truly blown away by Ollie’s knowledge, service and willingness to help. If only the country had more Ollies, the country would be facing a very positive future indeed.

Do not use this company, they come over to look at my oven. Said they need to order a part. My landlord has paid for the part and repir, they said that they would be over in 2 days to make the repir it has been now over 2 weeks wont answer the phone, reply to my text or reply to my landlord. Avoid this rubbish usless company!

We had an issue with our washing machine, with a loud noise on spin cycle. My wife booked for an engineer visit / repair. Engineer was late, with no correspondence. Upon attending, was clearly in a rush and had diagnosed issue without even opening the door of the machine. Within 15 mins, machine had been pulled out the counter some panels off , and put back. Was told the issue was not worth repairing and a new machine would be recommended. Asked about any recommendations on another unit, if they offered any and when it could be done. Got told a specific machine that they do all the time, along with the sales spout on saving the £85 call out charge on new unit. Office would email me options after he left. We asked if the machine could be used until replaced and told yes no issue just small loads. Turns out this was not the case as morning after washing kids school uniforms the machine seems to have some form of plastic grinding into the drum and clothes just got smothered in white plastic. And some items have had to go in the bin as we could not salvage or get it fully of the garments. Chased office in next few days for an answer on a machine, and when the lady bothered to reply about that none were what we had discussed. Mentioned the plastic in machine and being told it was ok to use as a temp measure to keep clothes clean and palmed that off and said would ask engineer to call. Not heard anything till this day. Personally id avoid this lot. When an 18year old shows up in a beaten up Vauxhall Vectra estate with a appliance hanging out the back it should have likely rang some alarm bells but im all for supporting local businesses. We have replaced machine through another company.

Flynn was very professional and sorted the problem straight away

The engineer came as booked and diagnosed two faults on my cooker range . One was to replace the fan the other was to replace the element . He repaired the fan but said he had to order the element and once in he would return to replace. This was Sept . I called a few times during November but no answer . By early Dec I called and was told they would follow up with the engineer and get back to me . They did not . I recalled and was meet by a very angry rude woman on the telephone saying it was Christmas and they were busy ,she again said she would get to me and didn’t . I managed to get the element online myself and another engineer from another company fitted it for me in within 2 days in time for Christmas . The branch
I used was in Brighton .I would not recommend this firm .

Nothing Green about this lot!
I booked in a technician to look at our dishwasher for Friday. Didn't turn up, he called me at 17:30 on the Friday to re-arrange to come the following Monday.
Didn't turn up on the Monday either, so I called the office on Tuesday.
When the technician did arrive, he diagnosed the problem as a faulty/ burnt-out circuit board. Claimed it would cost £185 + VAT to repair, so insisted to me that it would be un-economical to repair. They invoiced me for the call-out & again tried up-selling me to buy a new machine from them @ £340, sourced from Euronics- despite me being able to buy one from the same suppliers for LESS.
I asked them to send me a quote for a new circuit board but have not heard a dicky bird from them since.

Most appliances can be repaired, as replacement parts are easily available from manufacturers.

Only interested in Up Selling.

Would not recommend, unfortunately.

I had to replace my washing machine recently and the service I received was excellent. I want to particularly mention Nick the engineer, who I found to be not only professional and efficient but extremely kind and helpful. I would certainly recommend this company and I thank them once again for their friendly and efficient customer service.

We had never heard of Green Appliance Repairs (GAR), but we needed to get our cooker fixed and, after checking reviews, decided to give them a go.
The Good: My emails to GAR were responded to every time almost instantly.
The 'Bad': The engineer was so busy that he didn't manage to get to us on the agreed day, but he did phone to explain his situation and promised to fit us in the day after. He redeemed himself fully the following day, phoning to give expected time of arrival, and, in a cheerful and friendly way tackled the repair job getting our oven fixed within about 30 minutes. He was able to take contactless payment once the job was done and the amount was as previously agreed when booking the repair.
The 'Ugly': well that was the state of the heater element that had failed in our cooker!
All in all, we are delighted to have found this company, eager to commend the very pleasant young man who efficiently carried out the successful repair, and (but hopefully not too often!) will certainly use again when next one of our appliances proves beyond our amateurish repair skills.

He bought a new door as they could not get the parts for my door.
Came back on Friday to put it on
Literally took him a minute to do
Amazing company
Engineer was very polite

Green Appliance Repairs have been fantastic, I have used them twice now and I'm so glad to have found them. Quick to attend, punctual, friendly, professional, very easy to use, fantastic value for money. Will not be using anyone else going forward. I dont think they promote people giving reviews of their service, they should, I felt compelled to do so as they are fantastic!
