Very impressed
I’ve been working with Team HauseIt for a while. I know that going the FSBO route isn’t for everyone, but I am extremely pleased with how easy HauseIt makes the process. HauseIt clients have the resources they need to get their property sold and knowledgeable people to turn to when they have questions, but the clients are still in control of the process and – of course – save a good deal of money. If you're even considering not using a traditional broker, I think this is the best way to go. In short, I am impressed with HauseIt and for very good reason!

Hey Anna - when selling a condo or coop in NYC, it's critical that you work with a broker who is a member of REBNY. Over 75% of buyers are represented by agents, and the vast majority of these agents use the REBNY listing database (RLS) to both search for and send suitable listings to buyers.
This is partly the reason why the traditional, 'old school' method of openly listing FSBO in NYC online simply does not work. It's because these listings have very poor exposure to buyers' brokers.The vast majority of the real buyer's agents won't see your listing (since not on RLS), and those that do will be very reluctant to send their buyers your way because of historical difficulty in collecting commissions from FSBO sellers.
You can also think of it from the perspective of the commission-only buyer's agent: Should I take a risk and send my loyal buyer to a FSBO seller who may never pay me, or should I just send my buyer to a fellow REBNY member listing where I'm assured that I will be paid?

The Future
Yes, I recommend Hauseit highly. Most buyers today are searching online themselves, so I saw no drop in interest when I switched from a listing broker to Hauseit. In fact they increased. They provided valuable guidance while keeping away the hoards of brokers looking to get a listing.
In this price sensitive market, Hauseit allowed me to pass the listing broker commission on to the buyer, helping differentiate my property from the competition.
I find that 90% of the work is getting the apt "show ready" for the open house or showing. Actually showing it is easy. This is the future, people just don't realize it yet.

I am currently using Hauseit to sell my condo in NYC. I am now "under contract" and headed towards closing...YEAH! My condo was listed with Hauseit for just 18 days and I sold it during the very first open house. The open house had a great turnout which I attribute to the excellent advertising done by Hauseit. I received 4 offers to purchase my condo the very next day. From the moment I signed up I was introduced to "Chris" from Hauseit, who is truly knowledgeable, professional, and an experienced realtor. Hauseit is uniquely different from any other FSBO company out there, in that, they take a personalized approach with their clients and they work with you side by side. I never felt abandoned or lost ever. Chris was always there to help me. He provided me all the tools and marketing for me to successfully sell by owner and I avoided paying 6% in sales commissions.
They have a nice website which is very similar to an app where sellers can pick and choose items that will greatly increase their chances of selling and, in my case, a fast sale (18 days). I took advantage of their appraisal service, their floor plan design service, their "rent an agent for a day" for my open house, and their professional broker consulting. This cost to me was MINIMAL considering I saved well over $35,000 in sales commissions and I sold my condo in just 18 days. I have become a true fan of Hauseit and I will never hire a realtor ever again. Also, I will not use any other FSBO company, except Hauseit, as these "fly by night flat fee companies" just want your money and then abandon you.
I highly recommend Hauseit and I am truly gratefully towards Chris for constantly keeping in touch and following up with me every step of the way. I love their website, their unique business model, and their excellent customer service.

I am generally a distrustful person and thought that most of these reviews were generated by Hauseit or their relatives/friends. How else to explain such consistent positive reviews. After 4 agonizing weeks of open houses and zero offers we took a chance and hired them. The next week, we got offers and are now in contract negotiations at a price that we are very pleased with. Chris was amazing and went above and beyond what I expected. He was very responsive and patiently explained eveything. Don't wait four weeks, hire this company immediately! Excellent service and lead generation
Hauseit provided excellent service starting with walking me through the steps of using their service, then to posting the listing, then to getting an accepted offer. Its service made a big difference with the FSOB process. It is as effective as described on its website. I have been recommending its service to my friends who are interested in doing FSOB themselves.

Hauseit takes the angst out of FSBO!
We saved a ton of money, but we also were spared a ton of aggravation. Hauseit sent a great photographer and got our apartment listed on all the sites that count within a day or two. The person that helped us with the open house was fantastic and extremely professional. We had 3 offers that day, and are hoping to be in contract soon.
Really, I couldn't recommend Hauseit's services more. I was very intimidated by the prospect of going FSBO, but with Hauseit, we never felt like we were alone. Entirely worth the very reasonable fee.

Hauseit worked exactly as advertised. We sold our NYC apartment after one very well attended open house. About half of our potential purchasers came in without a broker and we sold the apartment to one of them thus avoiding even a small broker fee. Hauseit was a pleasure to deal with as well. Great experience
The hauseit guys were very helpful and were available to answer my questions 24/7. I posted on streeteasy first, and then was contacted by hauseit. They post on additional sites, for a better value than just listing through streeteasy. We saved 6% on realtor fees - I would definitely work with them again.

Great Company
I had a great experience with Hauseit. I was selling my apartment without a broker when Nick from Hauseit reached out to me. I was hesitant at first because it sounded too good to be true but my Streeteasy listing was about to expire and it was going to cost the same amount as signing up with hauseit. It seemed like a no-brainer because not only would hauseit keep my listing as is on the websites I was already listed but they would advertise my listing on additional websites including those on which only agents could post listings like mls. It took so much of the stress and work off my shoulders because if I wanted to make a change all I had to do was reach out to them and they were always very responsive. And any inquiries made about my apartment were forwarded to me. I would recommend this company to anyone that's selling on their own.
