Trustpilot so should make changes on the rating for this company specifically so people can only leave review no rating.
What a terrible company and honestly surprised to see them still trading such a dominant way.
On 8th August they approved for the hired vehicle by the file handler called Matt and from 11th August to until today every single day they postponing the delivery in next day but this next day never turn up. The person handling the hired car called William Leitch. Every day making things up with new excuses and Heaven insurance company are unable to help in any way than leaving me in limbo with Sovereign Automative.
I am dreadfully disappointed, frustrated and in continuous loss in every way and yet they don’t accelerate things in any way.
Heaven claims won’t take any step to resolve this matter neither have any interest to maintain regular communication to update whatsoever.

My car was written off
My car was written off, and I was waiting for the total loss report. The people handling my case made mistakes they just saying oh sorry it’s our fault and Every time I called, I got 6–7 different answers from different people. I made a complaint, and they apologised but did not want to resolve the case. After the engineer’s report came, the person dealing with it started complicating the matter and sent it back to the underwriter again, who are apparently “uncontrolled” and have no set time to respond. I was told it had been referred to them, but when I checked earlier on different occasions, they told me the referral happened only recently. This back-and-forth is playing on my mind they have left me confused and frustrated.

I spoke to Claims Handler Barbara Turner who provided me with incredible Customer Service from the very first call, as a new driver this was all very nerve-racking for me, Barbara explained the process in detail, also calling me back to advise I could have a courtesy car for 7 days, this was extremely helpful as it allowed me to continue to work whilst I searched for a new car.
I now have my new car and I love it! I called again today to get the claim closed and have my policy cancelled and thankfully Barbara was on hand once again to assist me!
I have re-insured with Acorn Group on my new vehicle purely because of Barbara and the service she gave me.

We spent over an hour on the phone and Kyle made sure to explain everything thoroughly. Even when I asked the same questions over and over, he remained calm and never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable when speaking to him. Excess payment refund
Having spent nearly three hours on the phone trying to sort out an incorrect excess charge Yusaff realised the error was with Haven. He quickly sorted the issue and organised for me to receive a £350 refund. He was kind and patient and tbh deserves a medal as everyone else was adopting the ‘pass the buck’ policy. Hence three hours on the phone. Thank you Yusaff!

Poor Claims Handling and Lack of Transparency
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience with Haven Insurance following a household claim.
After significant damage to our kitchen, the claims process became unnecessarily drawn out and frustrating. Despite the Financial Ombudsman issuing a final decision in my favour, Haven repeatedly delayed settlement, requested excessive and repetitive evidence, and ignored the practical realities of the situation — including the fact that I was forced to replace the kitchen due to their earlier refusal to pay what was fairly owed.
Even after providing a professional quotation (as advised by the Ombudsman), they refused to accept it as a basis for settlement, causing further delays and emotional strain for me and my family. Their loss adjusters did eventually issue a revised settlement offer, but the breakdown remains unclear, especially regarding labour costs and prior payments made.
This process has highlighted a serious lack of transparency, accountability, and customer care. I would urge anyone considering Haven Insurance to think carefully and be prepared for a potentially long and stressful claims process.
