This was my first time buying a tailored suit and Toby was fantastic in suggesting what works and explaining what all well made suits should have. The fabrics he uses are of highest quality without being too pricey and the fit is just superb. I am naturally an awkward shape but Toby's experience made this suit look flattering. Toby keeps your measurements for any future work. I am sure I will be coming back for me next suit!

Item was as expected but packing was a cheap nasty crumpled card board box, would of expected something of a slightly better quality.

Toby was amazing from start to finish. Responded within a day to my initial enquiry, met me and my partner to go through the details of my 3 piece dinner suit and bespoke Marcella bib dress shirt for our wedding. Phenomenal service from an incredibly knowledgeable tailor. Very personalised experience and Toby went out of his way to see me on a weekend for fittings etc. The suit was top quality and all the advice was much needed, it made for the perfect Wedding Suit and I will definitely be going back for my future tailing needs.

Phenomenal quality. Hemingways is a London quality Tailor in Yorkshire. I’m so pleased with my bespoke overcoat. Two appointments, one to measure and one to fit- the latter was very much a case of try on and check it as it fitted superbly.

I have now had a suit and a custom made shirt made by Toby and Hemingway and would have no hesitation in using them again and also recommending to others.

Being a guy with a larger than average build I struggle to buy suits off the rack hence why I got in touch with Hemingway.

I am a big guy and presented a number of challenges to Toby and his team and the results are remarkable. I did not think that a guy of my size could get a suit that fits so well. I have no hesitation in recommending Toby to anyone looking at using his services and I will certainly be back for any future requirements.

Ordered online and the item arrived the very next day. It was extremely well packaged and the garment is very high quality. I've actually had to send it back though to get a smaller size (pullover). I chose XL having read some feedback on sizing but actually large would have been correct.

I don't normally extend a 5 star review but Hemingway Tailors certainly deserve it. Living in Bermuda I was naturally concerned that it may be difficult getting successful tailoring done but I have had a few things made by Hemingway and all have exceeded my expectations and most recently a pair of trousers that I wanted to match a madras jacket that I already had - after describing what I wanted to Toby and obtaining his guidance and suggestions I sent a photo of the jacket and was subsequently sent a range of samples to select from. The trousers arrived safely today and are beautiful and a perfect fit. The service I received from Toby and his team has been second to none and I recommend them highly. Llew Harvey

We had a trouser suit made as a special gift for our daughter's 30th birthday, using a part of a bolt of unique family tartan which we had designed. Toby immediately 'got' how she wanted to look and every suggestion he made as to the styling of the suit was spot on. Service by Hemingways, from early discussions to final creation, was flawless. The impeccable fit of the jacket and trousers plus the exquisite detailing that made it subtly stand out, added up to a wonderful outcome. They easily met the deadline we had in mind, and the company are also outstanding for communication throughout the process.
