Very good quality, prompt service and well packed. Colour not quite as per internet image but that can very often happen with most products. Very happy with this Company. I called the Company and by chance the owner took the call. He explained that they also do a bespoke service which I was very happy to hear, so will be meeting him in London to pursue this service.

I was in desperate need of a suit within a small timeframe. I rang many well known Tailors in the west yorkshire area but only Toby of Hemingways was the one that said he could deliver without any hesitation. Like many people i am very particular about stuff & set in my ways but Tobys knowledge & expertise in his own craft really came through as my appts with him went on & i saw the suit come together for my big day well within time needed. The feeling of a made to measure suit with the little details tailored to & for you are sometimes priceless. Would definitely visit again for a special occasion suit. Thank you & keep up the great work!

Where do I start. Toby has been amazing from start to finish. He made me feel so special and had some brilliant ideas for my wedding suit. Toby made this experience enjoyable and put my nerves at ease. I felt so confident in my suit. I would definitely recommend hemingway and will certainly use them again. A long time ago, when visiting a gentleman's (or ladies) outfitters, you were offered a comfortable chair by the counter and goods were brought to you. If they didn't have quite what you wanted, they'd find something - often even better.

Having been a client of Hemingway Tailors for sometime now and purchased a number of different products from them from suits, jackets trousers and shirts, I recently ventured out to buy some of their newly launched MTO Footwear and was absolutely delighted with the finished product. I then thought I would try a Chelsea Boot style from their RTW range as, I really liked their pre-configured choices in this style and I was equally delighted with the make, fit (I used the same sizing as my MTO pair) and quality! So, if you’re looking for a pre-configured regular style in a fantastic quality leather then look no further and BTW the price is more than competitive to other well known established Brands too.

I have purchased many suits and jackets from Toby over the years, and every experience with him and Hemingwaytailors has been brilliant! The amount of shirts and suits I have purchased over the years come nothing close to what Hemingway Tailors have provided me. I can honestly say, I will be definitely going back as the quality of shirts and suits are out of this world! Every time I wear a piece of clothing made by Toby I feel that I can go out confidently knowing I've dressed well for any occasion. Options are endless! Highly recommend to all.

I have bought several shirts from Toby. He ensured that when I bought my first one that the fit was correct and of course the quality was the best. Since then, I have accumulated many stylish, first class shirts from Hemingway to last a lifetime! Just recently I bought a made to measure suit. Again, from being measured up there was no doubts that there would be any alterations. When trying it on for the first time it fitted like a glove, material was excellent and soft. If you want something made correctly don’t do half measures go the full way. It is worth it! Highly Recommend.

I bought a handmade to measure two piece suit and five handmade shirts from Hemingway Tailors. I had an initial measure and a fitting with Toby. He realised I love my clothes and made it a very personal experience and very enjoyable, the suit fits perfectly and the shirts really cut a dash the quality is clear to see. My knitwear was soft bright and feels great wearing it. It is one of those items of clothing that you look forward to wearing.

I bought my wedding suit from here. As a female wearing a suit, I talked with Toby a lot about exactly what I wanted and to ensure it was a gorgeous feminine piece and he did not disappoint. From the moment we walked into their studio the service was second to none and I have a suit which I get complimented on all the time and is something completely unique to me (not to mention completely stunning).

Would HIGHLY recommend and I will be going back should I ever need anything made again.

He’s not a cyclist but I gave him a yellow jersey which he has worn since his birthday (29th). Hemingway answered the telephone when I was confused about sizes: Tony Luper went the extra mile. Good to deal with a Yorkshire firm!

I ordered a made-to-measure tailored suit from Hemingways in November 2020. The master tailor Toby Luper is clearly an expert and was able to help me identify what I wanted and also identify aspects of my body which the suit needed to take into consideration. I was so pleasantly surprised that the suit turned out to fit me perfectly without any additional alterations. I had gone for what I assumed was a trial or fitting appointment and I walked out with a fabulous work suit. Toby is very professional, experienced and flexible (I live a couple of hours away from Leeds and due to other commitments, had to move our appointment a few times). I would love to order more suits as the occasion presents itself.

Five star service, absolutely beautiful suit. Toby is very talented and I am very pleased with the bespoke service. Attention to detail and your satisfaction as a customer is paramount which means that it is not just tailoring, it is an experience to enjoy designing your suit. Also as a woman it is very hard to find a tailor with the necessary skills. I am very happy with the product. They also have a really neat app for designing your own shoes if you are so inclined. I would recommend and will return if I require anymore suits or coats.

From the start Toby and his staff have made me feel welcome and their customer service is excellent. This is the first time having clothes made by a tailor and as a women I felt a little daunted. However I can’t recommend this experience more highly , it won’t be my last visit. I hope it is the start of filling my wardrobe with fabulous clothes
