The vehicle was ready for me upon arrival. Great customer service agents. Easy drop off.

I reserved a compact car when I went to pick up my rental car. It was not available so they give me a bigger card and stated I have to pay the difference. I told the customer representative I feel like I should not have to pay the difference because I did not choose this bigger car. I wanted the smaller car for my travel business. So I had to pay extra for a bigger card that I did not want. I believe the car rental company should have not let me reserve the car if it was not available and I would’ve gone to a different location for the car I wanted and reserved. They did not offer me a discount or customer service discount for not having the car I wanted instead. I have to pay more money.

I like supporting our local Hertz and not having to go to the airport. But I need to say, when you hear people talking in the back and nobody's at the counter, for 10/15 minutes, it really makes me want to go to the airport. Do better please 🥺

Reserved a specific car type and upon arrival to our local Hertz location they did not have it. We ended up with an electric car. Absolutely dislike EVs. There are only 7 charge stations in this town and 5 of them are broken. Furthermore they charged me more than what I was quoted online. They always do this. Rental was for three days, and one was suppossedly free for a bday promo, it was reserved for 219$, then the rental agreement was 240$. Why can't they give the full and correct cost at time of booking. Enterprise is way better, I didn't rent with them because I thought the promo would help. It didn't, and they were sold out anyway. Hertz has always been disappointing in these areas.
