Vinyls severely broken
Bought three vinyls from here, all on separate occasions. Yet every single one had to be returned as they would not play properly, either lyrics were skipping or the vinyl was severely warped, which is not what I would expect from such a usually reputable business

Helpful service at the Grimsby store and delivery service spot on.
Think being able to contact the store by phone would be an improvement. Had to travel by car for over half an hour to reach the store. To get to the store using public transport very difficult from our village Bonby Brigg.

I didnt know the album l purchased was…
I didnt know the album l purchased was a 45 play and not the usual 33..l dont like moving the belt on my deck.

It’s always great to go into the Grimsby store- I couldn’t see what I wanted but with the help of the staff I was able to order the DVD – I was sent an e-mail when it was ready to collect from the store – thank you.

I purchased a dvd and the case was smashed on delivery, the outer package was fine just the plastic case the dvd’s were in

HMV GREAT FOR VINYL RECORDS
Having purchased a record player this year how wonderful it is to be able to play records again ,Hmv have a fantastic selection of LPs especially the 3 for £66
I regularly check the website for new albums to buy
So I checked my local store on line to see if they had the 3 albums I wanted on the 3 for £66 "yes all in stock in store '
However last week I went into store to purchase
The new bruno mars album ,also the motown collection album and UB40 red wine album all of which are on the 3 £66 offer .
I found the 3 albums took them to the counter to pay for them only to be told the bruno mars one was not on offer in the store only on line offer
but that I had to order it from the shop and have it delivered to either my home address or the store
I said but I have the albums here in my hand I want to purchase them from store which will in turn save you that is HMV the cost of handerling transporting and packaging .
So I was unable to take away any of the 3 albums and I did order them from store to have delivered
How is that financially logical surely it has cost hmv more money.
Hopefully hmv may explain the logic
Hmv stores are great to be able to look and rummage through the LPs and other things
Far more enjoyable shopping experience than the press and click experience and wait in all day for the delivery driver who then just throws you Items over a gate in the pouring rain or worse still damaged or delivered to god knows where .
