Beautiful Condo and amenities, Nonchalant Front desk Staff
First, I’ll like to say that hosteeva customer service reps are friendly and accommodating. I appreciate how quickly they respond to incidents or feedback. Our condo was located at the California Building in New Orleans. The building amenities are nice and the condo was perfect for two couples. Our condo was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated.
However, on our first night, there was a pajama party on the 8th floor and our condo was located on the 6th floor. This party led to a shooting incident on one of the elevators. We had no idea that an “incident” occurred until we were heading out for the night (~1am) and ran into detectives in the lobby and a police presence outside the building. There was no indication of a crime scene or any caution tape. We were quickly rushed out of the building and one of my male friends was even told to get on the ground. Keep in mind we were waiting for our Uber for our first night out. When we got back there was still blood in the lobby, blood on the elevator’s floor, and vomit in a different elevator. We asked the security guard what happened and he was able to tell us it was a domestic dispute and they attended the party on the 8th floor. We expressed our concerns to the “overseeing building manager” he blew us off and nonchalantly said “ you can call the number on the back of this door but all calls will just be forwarded back to us anyway”. We asked when will the blood and vomit be addressed since it’s been several hours already. He said “by 9AM but I’m not sure …it could be longer”.
As the overnight manager with guests paying their hard earned money someone from the front office staff should’ve cleaned it right away. As guests we shouldn’t have to wait until the cleaning crew arrives at 9AM or later.
This review is not to deter anyone from staying at this location. As the condo it self was really nice. The hosteeva reps were understanding and are trying to work with the property manager for some sort of resolution. But we felt as if the building manager and staff was not taking our concerns seriously. I’m not sure if this is a common occurrence since it did not raise any alarms to them but it’s unacceptable and made us very uneasy.

Bumpy start but finish was great!
Started off with a problem with the unit we had but it was quickly resolved the next morning was put in a different unit very clean exactly what we needed! Met a beautiful woman named Rose Marie, she came up the manager of the building.She came up assisted Us and got us what we needed!! Then I spoke to another Lovely Lady Lea that was compensated us for our inconvenience! What a beautiful experience! You don't find the kind of assistance in customer service as we received today! It's been great and very accommodating on every hand!

Would use to book again…
Newly renovated rooms with gorgeous views of the ocean at Myrtle Beach. We had to contact Hosteeva for a few basic questions and they had answered our questions within minutes. Made check in super easy and provided us with all we needed to have a stress free experience.

We had a wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay! This is thanks to the quick response and resolution from the Hosteeva team when we arrived to our room. There was a faux pas with housekeeping and updates being done on our assigned unit. The management team and housekeeping team were very apologetic, and demonstrated the utmost care and concern to us and the situation. They immediately found us a different room in the building next door and we were very satisfied with the new room. It appeared to be newly updated and was pretty, very clean, tranquil, and comfortable. I am very appreciative of how this was handled and the amazing team that was most helpful. The follow-up from management was excellent and really makes you feel like you matter. I thank you for the hospitality and a great stay! We look forward to our next visit.

Our stay with Hosteeva was nothing short of spectacular. Their commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and providing memorable experiences is commendable. It’s rare to find a company that exceeds expectations on all fronts, but Hosteeva has managed to do just that.

First experience with Hosteeva
Booked a house through Chase bank, which in turn used Hosteeva. This was my first experience with Hosteeva, and we had no issues.
We were given a local manager’s phone number, and they were very responsive.

I can't complain about the hotel BUT THE ROOM 😱
I can't complain about the hotel and the staff at all! But the room given by Hosteeva was such a disappointment, I have stayed in the atlantica resort before no issues at all staff is amazing and so helpful!! Now my room that is NOT owned by the hotel itself was HOT AC did not work at all we did not sleep any this is supposed to be a vacation, worst experience in my life! BED BUGS KEEP EVERYONE UP ALL NIGHT tossing and turning my son has a huge bite mark on his neck hopefully it gets better or we will have to go to the ER or urgent care. I called hosteeva 3 times yesterday april 4th 2024 was told that they were waiting on a response from management. They never called me back. I called again today April 5, 2024 finally had a response, I am guessing she was management from Hosteeva (myrtle beach) came out inspected the beds stated she has been trained to check for bed bugs could not see anything, She also stated (Hosteeva never reached out to her yesterday keep in mind I called 3 times) when she undid the beds womens hairs were all over the mattres covers ..no women sleeping in the
Room during our booking and not to mention the stains yuck, asked if we can get moved to another unit, was told all was booked until tomorrow.My father had to sleep on the hard floor because the sofa bed springs were killing him.. I am ready to go HOME...a great process for booking and getting you into the rental.....that they know. Unfortunately our rooms were disgusting, filthy and filled with bugs biting us all night. LIKE THE OTHER REVIEW STATED do not trust Hosteeva to manage your property! They will be moving us rooms tomorrow which means we have to have a sleepless night again, my poor family.
Horrible experience
I rarely leave reviews but Hosteeva is Unprofessionalism times 100! My experience with this host was absolutely HORRIBLE; one of the worst I've ever had. I booked a property through Airbnb for a work conference and chose it because they had a clear 48 hour cancellation policy. Well before 48 hours I tried to cancel, after inquiring about mold and noise at the property (I have a mold allergy). However, the app said I could only get a 50% refund. I contacted Airbnb who said I had to go through the host. After numerous tries over the following weeks, I eventually got ahold of the host company. I spoke with two reps who were EXTREMELY rude and condescending, and refused to help me in any way, or allow me to speak with a manager. I ended up staying at the property so I wouldn't lose all my money and there was a bad leak under the kitchen sink with damaged wood, the water in the tub and the washing machine didn't drain, there were 100 AC units outside that run nonstop, and the view out the windows was the back of a dirty building. Location was okay but noisy. I would stay far away from using this company.
DO NOT RENT FROM HOSTEEVA
We rented a condo in New Orleans through Hosteeva. We have used VRBO and AirBNB to rent properties throughout the world. We will never use Hosteeva again. Their advertisements are substantially false. It said the building was secure which it was not. Anyone could enter as there was no locking device on the door. One of the showers was completely inoperable and in the other the fixture handle fell off when turned. The floors were very dirty and clearly had not been swept. Nobody replaced the burned out light bulbs in the second bedroom and bathroom. The carpet was filthy. They did not provide any amenities, not even coffee pot filters even though their advertising states differently. DO NOT RENT FROM HOSTEEVA!!
Photos lie
Apartment 801 had a clean and nice kitchen and bathroom but unfortunately the bedroom was totally unappealing nor clean looking. The carpet was covered in stains and dirt marks. Corners of the room had accumulated dirt.
The company was unavailable to offer alternative accommodation.
We did not stay due to the look of the bed, and lack of cleanliness.
I have disputed payment through Booking.com ( the booking platform i used) but apparently nobody from Hosteeva is available to resolve my issues or even make comment.
This is a prime example of misleading photos and multiple, interchangeable rental units which are not all maintained equally and a large company who have little to no interest in customer care or satisfaction

The space was clean and pleasant, and I would certainly consider staying again and recommending it to other travelers. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, and there is ample parking in front of the building. Very responsive hosts. Thank you!

We had such a wonderful time ! The hosts were amazing, and the place was just perfect. It felt like a home away from home. Plus, the location was ideal, with lots of great restaurants nearby. would definitely be back!

Do NOT book with
Booked a unit hosted by Hosteeva via Airbnb on 12/27/23. A month later I receive an email that my reservation has been canceled. I immediately message them asking if this is a mistake because I didn’t cancel it and the trip is still active in the Airbnb app. They ask me to call them asap so I do and they tell me there was a “system glitch” and the unit I reserved has a 7 night minimum (I reserved for 4 nights). This is a huge inconvenience bc the other units my 9-person group was initially looking at have since been booked, and the units currently available don’t have the number of bedrooms and bathrooms we want at a reasonable price. I went back to check the listing for our original dates, and the nightly price was almost doubled. Suuuuure it was a “system glitch”. I will never book with them
I rented a Hosteeva rental through Air…
I rented a Hosteeva rental through Air B&B and showed up to a house that was never cleaned from the previous tenant. My check-in was at 4 PM, my call to them was at 4:03 and I didn't receive a follow up call until 4:56 to inform me I can either drive 3 hrs to another property or have a refund. The only caveat was I had to cancel my reservation on Air B&B as to not be able to give time a bad review. Ruined my vacation and would not suggest any of their properties if this is how they handle their paying customers.
Great customer service
There were no hangers in the closets. When we got back to our room that evening, there was a package of hangers on the counter. That was so nice!
