Returns fees/process is ridiculous.
Returns fees/process is ridiculous.
You have to pay to return. The returns label has to be printed, presumably to make the returns process more difficult so you’re less likely to return? They then charge you £4.99 to “process” the refund.
Not to mention how long the refund takes. They’ve had my item since 15th January, it’s now 26th January and it’s still being “processed”.
I bought two bras in the same size, one fit and one didn’t.

We completely understand how disappointing it feels when a return takes longer than expected, especially when you’ve already sent your item back and are waiting for your refund. That’s not the experience we want for our customers.
To provide some context (not as an excuse): we’re a New Zealand–based brand serving customers globally, and while we work hard to keep our returns process as fair and transparent as possible, international returns do involve additional handling and processing. The £4.99 fee helps cover part of the return processing and administration costs, and printed labels are required by our returns partner to ensure parcels are correctly tracked and received — never to discourage returns.
Refunds are processed once returns are received and checked, and while this can take up to 14 working days during peak periods, we appreciate that waiting is frustrating. Your feedback highlights where we need to improve communication and turnaround times, and we take that seriously.
We’re genuinely glad to hear that one of the bras worked well for you, and we’re sorry the other didn’t — fit can vary by style, even in the same size, and we know that’s not ideal.

I’ve been so impressed with the Hotmilk…
I’ve been so impressed with the Hotmilk bras! The material is always so soft and they’re made with such nice detailing. It’s really hard to find a nice looking maternity bra but Hotmilk have nailed it! I now have 4 bras which will see me through pregnancy and into post-partum x

Poor quality, ill fitting, expensive return, slow refund
I bought two products and both were poorly fitted and not true to size. They charge a fixed amount for returns which is expensive, and no option to arrange your own postage. The refund took over two weeks after they had received my return, which is unreasonable and against UK law.

Fit can vary depending on style and individual shape, and we understand how disappointing it is when items aren’t right — especially when you’ve ordered more than one piece. We do offer detailed fit guides and access to our fit specialists, and we’re always happy to help before or after purchase to try and avoid this situation.
Our returns fee is a fixed rate to help cover return handling and processing, and we understand this can feel frustrating when a return is needed. We appreciate this feedback and will pass it on to our team.

I sent a return weeks ago
I sent a return weeks ago, which shows on tracking as delivered but still have not been refunded. When contacting them I have been told to keep waiting.
The whole return process has been very frustrating with the offer to waive shipping fee if you buy a replacement item not working either. It’s such a shame as they’re the only company to make nursing bras in my size but I will not be shopping there again.

I’m obsessed!
I recently received 3 new bras from Hotmilk and what can I say?! I’m obsessed! I’m currently 24 weeks pregnant so my body is constantly changing, and the Hotmilk bras cater comfortably to my pregnant body, making them perfect for pregnancy, postpartum and breastfeeding. What makes them even better is that they are comfortable, cute and sexy all at once!!

Awful communication
Customer experience is as if dealing with a company that was opened yesterday. Processes slow. Ordered two bras and one arrived, no communication or no paperwork. A few days later thought maybe the second bra isn’t coming in a different delivery and contacted them only to be told it was out of stock. They then offered me a different colour. I accepted it. On arrival, it had a strange fit and didn’t like the colour, so arranged a return. It’s been over 14 working days according to their return policy and I have still not had a confirmation email nor my refund. I’ve now needed to email to follow up again.
Unprofessional and poor communication. Do not buy from here unless you want extra life admin to do.

Not usually one for reviews BUT - saw their Black Friday sale and decided to take a chance. Went for a bra fitting at a reputable place and they couldn’t help me at all so took a gamble with HotMilk’s “find your size” calculator and ordered 32F’s in the sale. They arrived this morning and wow! Lovely bras and the magnetic clip is SO clever - no fiddling to put my boob away! A little tricky to unclip but at least they won’t accidentally come unclipped

Beware return fee
Designs generally poor fit or shape. Kept only one item from my order. Beware also the £4.99 return fee. Not sure how they justify this. Customer service responsive though.
