Ordered a Denon Soundbar. Arrived within 2 days, looked brand new to me & no issues with it whatsoever. Very happy.

Just bought a Denon mini hi-fi From hyperfi have to say the packaging was a bit ropey but was sufficient the hi-fi though was in excellent condition so saved a lot of money so would recommend them and will defiantly use again.

Bought a Denon Dab41 system. Enquired about it first. Received a prompt answer which turned out to be accurate once I received the system. A couple of minor cosmetic issues with the system but as expected after the phone call. Very happy with the system and the service and would use again and recommend to others. Have had the system over one week and tried all aspects which work perfectly. Excellent value hifi.

I was slightly concerned when I read some of the other reviews, but the Polk Magnifi soundbar I purchased from Hyperfi was in as new condition. I don’t think it had ever been out of the box. All the instructions and accessories were present and in sealed plastic bags.
The sound bar was easy to set up, it was delivered quickly and at a great price. As far as I’m concerned there isn’t much not to like and I will use Hyperfi again.

Excellent company to deal with, Adam always responds promptly to emails, I could not fault them and would highly recommend.

Most of the stock is B grade, which may put some people off, my personal experience of this stock from hifi companies has been good.
I bought a Rotel 1572 CD player and am very happy with it, excellent sound staging, and detail, easy to place instruments in a song, very happy with it.

Found Denon N10 mini hi-fi on Which? as Best Buy, retailing around £500 from most companies. On sale at Hyperfi at £329.99 + £22 carriage. Wonderful service and next day delivery. I recommend this company.

Purchased a B stock Marantz SR6015. It was despatched within two days and very securely packaged. The unit was in immaculate condition and works perfectly. It came complete with the remote, antennae and room set up microphone and I downloaded the manual online. Perfect. Very happy with the kit and the transaction.

Don't understand all the negative comments that I read, because my experience was excellent received my order within 24 hours plus sales Simon was very helpful regarding my purchase, excellent packaging looks like straight from factory no problems whatsoever.

I ordered a B Stock receiver which arrived well packaged, but had an intermittent fault. Hyperfi re[placed the unit without question. Was very impressed with the interaction and the support. Would definitely recommend.

Let's say you paid 500GBP for the item and you paid 30GBP for postage so a total of 530GBP. If you need to return this you must pay the return postage (which is fair unless the item is broken). But HyperFi also keep your original 30GBP postage cost. So your refund will be only 500GBP despite you paying 530GBP.

This is actually illegal in the UK. The DSR (Distance Selling Regulations) successor law the CCR (Consumer Contracts Regulations) section 34-2 clearly states:

"The trader must reimburse any payment for delivery received from the consumer, unless the consumer expressly chose a kind of delivery costing more than the least expensive common and generally acceptable kind of delivery offered by the trader. "

You can google "Consumer Contracts Regulations" and it will be the first hit.

And I chose the only delivery option available. Yet they decided to steal my original postage money. I have contacted Paypal to open a dispute and also contacted trading standards to highlight this behavior. I will not let them get away with that. One way or another, it will be refunded and I will do what I can to prevent this shady company pulling this on other people.

Avoid these guys. HyperFi are a shady company in general, there is no company number on their website and the address on the website when looking at google maps is a completely different shop. They might have cheaper prices on a few things but if something goes wrong it will be more hassle than Amazon etc.

UPDATE 09-03-22
HyperFi offered to refund the postage if I removed this negative review. I declined this offer and initiated legal proceedings against them.

They have as of today refunded the postage costs in full however this is too little too late as I have already paid the court fee to take this issue to court. I will update this review as that proceeds with the eventual outcome. I assume HyperFi are trying to get this review removed because I am getting messages from TrustPilot asking for more information.

UPDATE 17-03-22
Paisley sheriff court has gotten back to me and they have seen that HyperFi has refunded my postage costs. They ordered HyperFi to pay my legal fee of 19GBP as well. So the matter is closed now.

Anyone reading this, if HyperFi do the same to you and keep your original postage cost, you can get your money back via the small claims court (known as simple procedure in Scotland).

Bought a ROTEL CD 11. In original box, un-opened and perfect condition. Delivered promptly. Highly recommend.

Purchased a B stock Denon hifi. Product was in excellent condition (as new). Delivery was within 48 hours. Price was £70 less than competition. Delighted. Would highly recommend Hyperfi.

Just bought a Marantz SR8015.
As per other reviews, box slightly scuffed but solid with no tears.
All inserts, protective bags present, manuals and paperwork in perfect condition.
Couple of hairline scratches on the back of the unit, where the connections are (who cares about that!!), otherwise perfect.
Delivered within 48hrs of ordering.
Totally happy with the purchase and the huge saving!!

Initially, I was a bit concerned about the quality of 'B' stock. I shouldn't have worried. The Marantz M-CR412 that I purchased was in excellent condition (as new). The box was a bit tatty, but that's no problem. Cummunication with Hyper Hifi was exemplary All in all, an excellent deal, and I would recommend them.

i've used Hyperfi previously without issue and again i ordered a Denon DP300f turntable, i'd previously emailed Simon asking advice about this product and received some 'sound' advice. product arrived as described, i struggled to get it to work originally and quick search on YouTube soon my discs spinning

Can't rate these people highly enough. I couldn't believe the deal they were providing on Denon AVR amps and I was initially worried, but my purchase arrived very fast and in perfect condition. Their communication throughout was first class too.

I was a bit concerned about buying from Hyperfi after reading some of the negative comments. However after having a chat with a chap there, he was very helpful, Bought a Denon AVR X2600H, it arrived when they said it would, I had tracking with Parcel Force, the AVR came in original box with all the accessories still in polythene bags, the amp had no marks and looks brand new, it works brilliantly. very good experience, well done Hyperfi.

I really wanted to leave a review for this company, as Simon the owner has been nothing short of stellar.

There are a few bad reviews from people who don't understand that they are buying "B-stock" - products that have been used/evaluated/looked at and then returned to the manufacturers. While these products are no longer in a condition they can be sold as new, its usually nothing more than the box having got really tatty in shipping. Its marked clearly on the website, the goods (from the 2 purchases I have so far made) are in no way "second hand", and at prices like these, if you don't make the connection then its really on you as the buyer not to have read the clearly labelled descriptions.

I've owned my own recording studio for over 20 years, so I am audio-literate, but as those in the trade will know, that doesn't make you necessarily rich, and when you're refurbishing an entire house with 2 small kids, "money no object" was in the rearview mirror. Every cent counts.

I contacted Simon for advice about enhancing my existing 5.1 system which has great speakers and a cheapo amp. As I'm rebuilding the living room I found out about Atmos and so forth and wanted to make the room kitted out for 5.1.4 sound.

He advised me on the DefTech D7 speakers for my ceiling mounts and we talked about the merits of the Denon 3700 vs 4500 - I'd not intended to spend nearly as much on an AV receiver but after reading some reviews, these looked to be pretty future proof and he advised me on some pretty intricate matters including the feasibility of Denon's promised firmware update to handle 4k/120hz properly (due to some lacking matter from the actual chipset makers).

When I came to buy, the 3700 and 4500 had both sold out - at these prices, not a surprise. Given that the 4700 offered the features of both models that were giving me pause, I ended up spending a lot more on the 4700 - still 70% of the price anywhere else.

Both items came to me on Parcelforce 48, shipped minutes after I paid for them. The boxes were expectedly bashed and the print had worn off, but who cares what box these things come in!

The speakers retail at around £500 - I paid £120 and they are the bargain of the century. They've got the same drivers in them as some of DefTech's £1-2000 models, they were wrapped in black softcloth dustsheets and were utterly immaculate. The gloss piano black had zero marks, everything just tip-top.

The amp retails about £1500 and I paid £1100. Again, box a bit tatty, but inside everything was individually wrapped, the card Audyssey mic stand was unused, the entire thing was completely pristine.

If not for Hyperfi I don't know how one would track down these returned items and get these bargain prices.

I'm planning on moving my front floorstanders into the rear position and replacing the front 3 with something very expensive further down the line.

The amp has given me this option and when I look for my front 3, I'll have no hesitation in spending triple what I spent on these first two items, because Hyperfi are amazing.

I run several small businesses, and I know how difficult it is to answer the phones, deal with returns and customers that didn't understand the Ts and Cs, no matter how clearly they are stated. Take the negative reviews with a pinch of salt here. I'm sure they relate to the "C stock" items which are even more ridiculously cheap and are stated that they may have some cosmetic issues.

Hyperfi do exactly what they say on the tin - practically or completely unused items, that customers have returned and can't be resold as new. Bigger discounts than you'll get anywhere else and sound advice. If you don't understand that a printed shipping box will get hell knocked out of it in 3 trips, go pay 30% more elsewhere.

Interesting to read the reviews on here. Personal experience has been very good. I bought a Denon DCD600NE CD player having been watching for stock for a couple of months. It clearly states that it's a B-stock that is seller refurbished and the FAQs give a summary of what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived (by tracked royal mail parcelforce delivery) in the original Denon packaging and looked completely spotless - you'd have no idea it isn't brand new. It's the first item I'd bought from them and held off ordering the turntable I'd been eyeing up until I saw the CD player. Of course it's now out of stock!
So my personal experience has been very positive.
