Contemporary Reflection: The Metallic Vitreum Argentum Tile Achieve a sleek, industrial-glam aesthetic with the Metallic Vitreum Argentum Tile —a sophisticated 10x30cm glass brick that delivers the brilliant, cool luster of polished silver. The Vitreum Argentum is a standout piece in the Fired Earth Metallic collection, designed for interiors that demand light, clarity, and modern luxury. Each 10x30cm tile features a high-purity glass body with a precision-applied silver metallic foil on the reverse. This "back-painting" technique creates a stunning sense of depth, allowing the silver to glow through the glass while protecting the finish from daily wear. The elongated rectangle format is perfect for creating a clean, architectural look—whether laid in a crisp stack-bond for a modern feel or a classic brick-bond to catch the light from every angle. It is the perfect choice for brightening dark kitchens or adding a high-shine "mirror" effect to contemporary bathrooms. ✓ Why Choose Vitreum Argentum? ✅ Mirror-Like Brilliance - Amplifies natural and artificial light, making rooms feel larger and more open. ✅ Cool Metallic Tones - The perfect partner for chrome fixtures, stainless steel appliances, and grey-toned interiors. ✅ Durable Glass Protection - The metallic finish is sealed behind glass, preventing oxidation or tarnishing over time. ✅ Low Maintenance Luxury - Naturally resistant to water, stains, and heat, ensuring a lifelong polished look. Perfect For 🍽️ Ultra-Modern Kitchens Create a seamless, high-tech kitchen splashback that complements modern cabinetry. 🚿 High-Shine Shower Walls The silver tones work beautifully in modern bathrooms, creating a bright and clean environment. 🏙️ Urban Commercial Spaces Ideal for restaurant bars or boutique hotels looking for a sophisticated, metallic wall feature. 🌓 Transitional Bathrooms Pairs elegantly with white marble or dark slate for a high-contrast shower enclosure. Technical Specifications Dimensions 300 x 100 x 8mm Material Glass (Back-Coated Silver Metallic) Finish Polished / Gloss Tiles Per m² 33.3 Suitability Interior Walls Only ⚠️ Professional Installation Guidelines To ensure the silver finish remains flawless: Adhesive Selection: You must use a premium white glass adhesive. Never use grey adhesive, as it will darken the silver appearance. Protect the Backing: Take care not to scratch the silver foil on the back of the tile during handling or cutting. Cutting Glass: Use a wet saw with a continuous rim diamond blade specifically for glass to prevent splintering and edge-chipping. Grout Recommendation: A fine, non-sanded grout is often preferred to prevent scratching the glass surface during application.
