THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE!!! I HAVE BEEN WITH THEM SINCE ABOUT MARCH OF THIS YEAR AND UPLOADED TONS OF MY BEATS THAT I KNOW WERE BEING USED WITHOUT MY AUTHORITY, TIME PASSED AND IM SEEN THEY STARTED TO COLLECT , FAST FORWARD TO THE MONTH BEFORE I AM SUPPOSED TO BE PAID AROUND $4000 MY ACCOUNT IS BANNED WITH NO REASON OR ANY KIND OF COMMUNICATION! AND I AM 100% SURE THEY ARE TRYING TO JUST KEEP MY FUNDS BECAUSE I AM SURE YOUTUBE HAS ALREADY PAID THEM! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ! I AM TRYING TO CONTACT A LAWYER ABOUT THIS ISSUE !

This company is the worst I have seen in a while. Very bad costumer support (Adam from Identifyy) should be fired. I have lost around 8000€, because they terminated my account for no reason! Best thing that could happen to this company would be if someone would file a lawsuit against them. If you see this and look for an alternative, use DistroKid, I only had good experiences with them.

8000€ LOST!!

I have a catelog of generic stock music that can be licensed for sale. Because some of these tracks were licensed non-exclusively to a game company, Identifyy would not allow these to be added because they now considered them to be "game music" even though the tracks could be licensed and used in any media production anywhere and with multiple clients. They were obviously wrong.

They then said I could continue to submit tracks if they were never licensed to any game company. So I went through my catalog of 4000+ tracks (spending dozens of hours) to figure out which ones were not licensed to any game company. Because some gamers coincidentially were playing my music in the background while playing completely unrelated games and some games even went so far as to use my music without licensing it, they thought that I was still uploading game music. (Admitedly, of the 4000+ tracks, a few sold to game companies did slip by. But since Identifyy doesn't allow you to see what videos are being claimed until 3 months later, there's no way I could have known this from them. I offered to whitelist them if they brought them to my attention.)

Anyhow, Identifyy clearly doesn't understand how stock music libraries work... And just because some tracks were licensed non-exclusively to a game, doesn't make them game music. Hypocritically, Identifyy has no problem supporting the catalogs of other stock music companies, such as Immediate Music, whose works do appear in many soundtracks. (But it's still stock music!)

Thankfully, they still paid out my earned royalties during that time. But terrible customer service, terrible knowledge of the industry, favortism, hypocrisy, and lies. Wasted my time.

Hello, Je suis avec ce site, pour essentiellement protéger mon travail sur YouTube, contre les petits audacieux… depuis plus d’un an.
J’ai pris mon risque et à vrai dire je suis très satisfait.
Personnellement, j’aime bien voir mon nom sous mes titres.
Professionnellement, si les personnes ont une licence pour mon travail, tout se passe logiquement bien.
Note: grâce à la détection ID, votre PRO, réclamera plus vite et plus efficacement vos droits, etc…
J’aime bien IDENTIFYY.
Recommandé pour ceux qui sont patient, et veulent protéger leur travail.
Quand aux autre, pas de risque pas d’expérience.

They have refused my tracks without any reason.

Bait and switch scam. A complete waste of time. Artists beware. Both Identifyy and Haawk. Stay away.

Cameron was super helpful in assisting me through the process of covering my tracks. It feels good to know that no one is able to use my tracks without myself getting the benefits from it.

Unhappy reviews here are probably from people with low numbers of videos that don't generate a sufficient amount of traffic and money. I'm super happy with Identifyy (since 2020), love their support and their system works perfectly.

Carefully read the terms before you agree to them. Some elements are extremely hostile towards artists.

For instance, you cannot remove your tracks for three years after submission. There are much better alternatives to Identifyy that don't have this ridiculous requirement. Extremely unhelpful customer support. Website is generally terrible.

The company is akin to a boiler room. They essentially bury their contract with awful clauses for the user that are obfuscated, and then leverage them back against the user to take their royalties.

The irony is, I even reached out to them and asked them about the bad reviews I read here when I was on good terms with them, and they actually re-assured me they were un-true, and then two weeks later, it was true, that yes, they do screw users out of royalties and not try to work with the person. They don't even give people who made a mistake a warning. If they can use legalse to claim that you technically violated their contract, they will take all of your money rather than give you your proper severance of 70/30 split.

Another scammy thing they do, all users who join are committing to 3 years that can't be got out of. It doesn't say 3 years anywhere when you join, until you see it deep in the terms, as they want it hidden. The sentence itself mentioning the 3 years isn't even clear. I am one of the rare people who even read the TOS before hand, and I still missed it.

Reasonable of course would be to discuss it with you. I even tried to reach out to the CEO. From Ryan L. Born, down to the customer service, everyone will just stonewall you once they take your royalty. It's not clear to me yet if some kind of class action can be brought against them for obviously doing this to multiple people.

Stay away, don't fall in this trap. Worst content registration system. Please don't by mistake use this. Report it as much as you can. Thanks.

When I signed up for Identifyy, I saw this page and thought these negative reviews were fake. But after one year when I reached the payment threshold (exactly $103) (Payment date: Jan 30, 2022. Ban date: Dec 17, 2021), my account got banned without notice, without explanation, and for absolutely no reason. If there was a real reason to terminate my account, they would have done so before the minimum payment was reached.

They locked me out of submitting new tracks claiming that YouTube content ID had removed me from their system because there wasn’t enough detection of copyrights in first 12 months. I seriously doubt that happened. How else is it supposed to work? Everything needs to start from zero, and take time to develop copyright usage. They have 16 of my tracks locked up with them for 3 years. Too many people with the same story. It all sounds like a carefully calculated numbers-driven scam. To other music producers BEWARE! Avoid these guys.

They actually banned my account for without reasons, i contacted the support but one of Identifyy support [Alexa] are ignored me! Both of your employees ignored it while my account is banned. You better move to Adrev or CDBaby instead. STAY AWAY FROM IDENTIFYY!!

They banned my account 6 months later for no reason. It's a completely scam company.

I checked on Google if this was legit but it isn't. Anyway they claimed my beat on Youtube and I had no clue what was it How do I remove that guys.
