Easy payment procedure.

The website was good quality with the correct content and good photos.
The booking process was very straightforward and before booking when we had enquiries they were handled promptly

Our confirmed villa booking in Ibiza for September 2026 was cancelled by them with no clear explanation provided. After organising the trip around this property, we were simply told it could no longer go ahead.

What was most frustrating was the complete lack of effort to offer a comparable alternative for the same dates or price range. Instead, we were effectively forced to accept a refund and start the whole search again ourselves.

To make matters worse, we’ve been told the refund could take up to three weeks — despite the cancellation being entirely on their side.

Cancelling a confirmed holiday is bad enough, but the lack of transparency, urgency, and customer support in resolving the situation has made the experience even more frustrating. I would have expected far better service and accountability from a company like James Villas.

Not sure what happened to this company but booked and paid for a villa and received compensation only for them to cancel weeks later with no explanation and now nothing available. out of pocket for flights and refuse to call back after multiple requests

Competitive prices and easy to use website.
However €95 charge to change holiday start date by 1 day (less than 24hrs after booking) was surprising

The site is easy to use, but I didn’t receive a confirmation email, all ok just logged into my account

Simple to use.

Teníamos alquilado un apartamento en Orihuela para fin de año y de camino por la autopista tuvimos un accidente por lo tanto se tuvo que llevar la grúa la furgoneta y nosotros volver a Barcelona en taxi. Con lo cual no pudimos llegar a Orihuela. Pues les mandé fotos del accidente. Les mandé el parte amistoso. Todo tipo de pruebas para que me hicieran el reembolso ya que fueron causas de fuerza mayor y me estuvieron mareando de un teléfono a otro hasta que me dijeron que no me reembolsaban nada. Son unos buitres sin escrúpulos.

The luxury villa was very spacious, the bedrooms are massive and first impressions were great
But there were a couple of things which we would have expected as follows:
We had no toilet roll in the master bed En-Suite
No soap dispenser in the upstairs toilet
No welcome pack i.e., Tea, Coffee, Milk, Washing tabs etc
The kitchen was completely empty of condiments apart from a salt pot, which was unusable
No contact with anyone on our arrival
Not able to park on the driveway due to garden rubbish piled up, there was however ample parking on the road.

Then things started to unroll, there is a lovely covered area which is great for eating outside in the evening, having said that, it is tired....
The outdoor furniture was comfortable but in need of a deep clean, it was dirty/dusty under the glass on the table and around the edge needed pressure washing due to old food etc in between the rattan weave
The sun loungers were dirty and had remanence of old sun cream etc also bolts sticking out
The 2 windows either end of the outside area are filthy, they haven’t been cleaned in a while as with the 2 glass floor panels by the stairs and glass above the stairs.
The pool is also tired and the waterfall no longer works, the pool level is approx. 100mm lower than it should be so no longer works as an infinity pool. As the level is lower it no longer skims of the top so I had to use the net every couple of days to get the bugs and debris out. It’s not a really deep pool anyway and being even lower than normal made it more difficult to swim.
The whole of the outside area is dusty and is just in need of a real deep clean.
The outside shower doesn’t drain and just overflows down the drive
Several of the balcony panels around the villa are cracked and the wobbly and really need sorting as this could be a danger.
The Villa in general could be so much more with a little bit of TLC but we did not get the experience that we paid for, over 3K for a week.
The photos did not resemble what we got, also things that were listed did not work correctly
Would not recommend at all!

Cupboard door in lounge hanging off hinges. Water leaking from kitchen sink. No TV or dvd as advertised. No electricity of any kind for two days. No information pack of any kind in villa. I had to pay a local electrician to get electric back on. James villas said l should have rung the number in the information pack!!!!. Of course ther wasn't one. Absolute cowboys fro beginning to end. No wonder they are going out of business. I reiterate BLOODY COWBOYS.

Can't now see areas by month. Has to be set dates. Long time customer but novasol website is dire

Just got an e mail- my Christmas Villa booking is cancelled. Just like that - no compensation - maybe 10 days to refund. What do you think we can do now - everywhere is booked up ..... James Villas parent company stole Christmas !

Have also received the email cancelling my villa in Cyprus next June. Have paid for all my flights. My problem is that I paid using a James Villas Voucher, which I accepted in settlement of a County Court Claim against them. The Email says they are 'closing down' (therefore not in administration), so hopefully they will honour the voucher and refund it? No reply from my query about this.

One week later an no reply to my email whatsoever. Seems like they've given up on customers already!
