The cleaning at our block is always done to a great standard. The communal areas are consistently clean, well maintained, and always smell fresh. We’re very happy with the service provided.

Excellent service. Highly recommend Louise at JM2

I had a great experience with Louise at JM2. I was struggling to coordinate fire door works across two small sites located close to each other, and Louise managed this seamlessly. She timed the fire door inspections perfectly for both sites, which made a huge difference.
The pricing was very competitive, the works were completed on the same day as planned, and the fire consultant provided very positive feedback during the visit. Throughout the process, Louise kept me fully informed and communicated clearly at every stage.
A really smooth and stress-free experience. would happily recommend Louise and JM2.

Extremely disappointing service and hostile response from management

We experienced weeks of missed cleaning visits, with no explanation. Residents had to chase both JM2 and FirstPort repeatedly just to find out why cleaning had simply stopped. Our on-site cleaning log even encourages residents to contact JM2 directly if issues arise - which we did.

After leaving an honest review this week, we received a long email from JM2’s CEO, essentially accusing us of being misleading and suggesting we should issue a public apology. Instead of accepting responsibility, his email downplayed the missed visits as just a “transition between teams” and implied that we were unreasonable for highlighting the issue!

To be clear:
• Cleaning was missed.
• Residents were left without service for weeks.
• The company only admitted fault (system errors, team changeover, blocks mislisted) only after complaints were escalated.

Rather than acknowledging the frustration caused, the CEO chose to lecture us about how “unreasonable” it is to write a negative review, and even implied we were wasting his time. We find it unacceptable for a company director to speak to paying customers (yes - WE, the residents and members of our RMC pay for this service) in this manner.

Mistakes can happen - but professionalism is shown in how a business handles them. In this case, the response was defensive, dismissive, and frankly hostile.

Cleaning services were affected earlier this summer by a change of teams and a system discrepancy which meant some blocks were not listed correctly. This has now been corrected, all areas are being cleaned again, and a credit note is being issued for the missed visits.
JM2 is committed to putting issues right when they occur, and we take accountability for service delivery under our contracts. We welcome feedback from residents, but we ask that dialogue remains constructive so that problems can be resolved quickly and fairly.

Unprofessional company

This company has been responsible for cleaning my block of flats. While the standard of cleaning was never particularly high, at least the work was being done — until this summer, when they simply stopped turning up without any explanation.

Our estate is managed by the notorious FirstPort (well known for not paying contractors despite charging residents heavily), so I initially thought the issue might be related to unpaid invoices. Wanting to be fair, I contacted JM2 Group directly in a polite and respectful manner, simply to check whether everything was okay and to ensure they weren’t left unpaid. As residents, we are in the process of trying to remove FirstPort, but we had considered retaining the same contractors, so this information was important.

Instead of responding to me, JM2 Group went straight to FirstPort and reported my name to them. FirstPort then decided to reprimand me for reaching out — something completely unnecessary and unprofessional. When I followed up with JM2 Group to express my disappointment that they chose to handle it this way, I eventually received a vague response from their COO, citing only unspecified "operational problems." Since then, several more weeks have passed, still no cleaning has been carried out, and when I chased it up through FirstPort, the only explanation I received was, “I would assume they ran out of time and will return to complete any blocks not done today.” Needless to say, that never happened.

This lack of professionalism, accountability, and communication makes JM2 Group an unreliable and disappointing company to deal with.

Hi,
Cleaning services were disrupted this summer due to a team transition and a scheduling discrepancy which meant some blocks were not recorded correctly. These issues have now been resolved, all areas are being serviced again, and a credit note is being issued for the missed visits.
It’s important to be clear that JM2’s role is the delivery of cleaning services under our contract with the managing agent. Matters such as service charge arrangements or wider communication sit outside our remit, though we always share relevant information with the managing agent as the client.
JM2 works with many resident-led clients across the country and values constructive dialogue with residents. We remain focused on ensuring the service is delivered consistently going forward.

Above and beyond!

JM2 were brilliant at attending short notice to a property which had undergone significant smoke damage from an accidental fire, the team made every effort to ensure residents homes were cleaned quickly and efficiently, allowing residents some peace of mind that there would be no adverse affects from the smoke in the area. They were helpful, professional, and achieved amazing results in a short time period, staying into the evening to ensure the job was completed, going above and beyond!

Unprofessional, Poor Communication, and Zero Accountability.

I’ve had an extremely frustrating and unacceptable experience with JM2 Group. They were contracted by my property management company to remove ivy from a wooden fence, yet during the work, they damaged the external gas pipe, causing a leak that resulted in Cadent shutting off the gas supply to my home for safety reasons.

Despite the seriousness of the issue, JM2 made no effort to inform me or arrange for the damage to be repaired. I returned home from a holiday to find my gas supply disconnected, with no communication from JM2 — only a handwritten Cadent notice stating I needed to call for reconnection. I'm dumbfounded as to why, despite being initially contracted through the management company for the flats I live at, they couldn't also arrange a repair through them (or at the very least leave a note with their contact details as I didn't even know this initial gardening work was happening) and instead waited for me to track them down.

When I finally managed to get a contact number for JM2, I was curtly told over the phone that I could not speak to anyone and would need to send an email instead. No apology, no attempt to help — just more delay and deflection.

Now, five days after the damage occurred, I am still without gas and have been told I need to wait another two days for a contractor to attend. All of this for an issue they caused, and all while they have avoided any meaningful responsibility or proactive communication.

This company has demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, urgency, and care for resident wellbeing. I would strongly advise property managers and residents alike to avoid using or relying on JM2 Group for any form of contracted work.

JM2 have been an exceptionally great firm to deal with, I have received positive feedback from Leaseholders and residents alike and have been impressed with the attention to detail and prompt action following requests/Purchase orders that have been sent to Nile Brown.

Immaculate service with friendly staff

Jm2 Group have been carrying the communal cleaning and grounds maintenance at our block of flats for the last 6 months!

Since having Jm2 on board, they have consistently delivered a service which is second to none and I would recommend Jm2 to anyone who in wanting to immediately improve the standards at their site.

Just had garden fences and gate…

Just had garden fences and gate replaced with new concrete posts, gavel boards and fence panels by the boys at JM2 group and they have done a brilliant job and even went to effort of matching our new fences with the next door neighbours on right hand side so they are all the same colour right the way round our garden. Definitely recommend to everyone

JM2- services for block management

I have worked with JM2 for a number of years now, and I have always had great feedback from my clients on their work especially the cleaning teams. It’s always handy to have good contractors who really take pride in their services they offer, and it shows!

The team in the office are always on hand to help, and answer queries quickly and with great knowledge to.

Very happy with our new patio

We wanted our decking at the back of our house replaced with a patio. Ben came over and priced the job up and I would say it was a very fair and competitive quote. My wife gave him a photo of what she wanted and he agreed to do the job.
The team arrived and got to work, ripped up the deck and ready to lay the patio on day one. They were here on time, did a full days work, very tidy and I was very very impressed with the workmanship, particularly Phil who did the patio slabs. We would highly recommend Ben and his team. The patio is exactly what we wanted with no compromise, any questions or concerns were addressed professionally. The guys are a friendly bunch. We are Very happy indeed!!! We have already passed on ben’s number to friends and neighbours who liked the work.

Professional brilliant service

Always professional, as an agent we use them across a number of buildings and always a good job done and always available for issues! The directors are available like the rest of the team which can be rare in a company if we need them and always looking out for their customers, great service! Excellent cleaning gardening and window cleaning!!
