Absolute atrocious customer service…

Absolute atrocious customer service considering can only buy autotrail parts from them in my area at least 5 phone calls two emails. Got particularly worried when I asked about a habitation door fly net and she didn’t no what I was talking about. Shall try autotrail further afield as Autotrail Grimsby don’t sell to the public they could have picked a more reliable supplier.

DONT DONT DONT!

DONT DONT DONT!

Absolute criminals! I bought a 7,000 pound car last September. Firstly the radio didn’t work but I was told they’d send the SIM card. This was useless as the system in the car has been discontinued so stereo, sat nav etc were never going to work which he obviously knew. Then one of the wipers fell off, back door wouldn’t shut, one window stayed open, other wouldn’t shut and then the whole exhaust fell off and had to be replaced. On Monday as I was driving on the M3 the gearbox ceased up and I very nearly caused a pile up as car came to a sudden halt in the fast lane. I was towed to a agarage which dealt in automatic gearbox’s and was told that by replacing the gearbox I was throwing good money away as the car was basically a pile of sh…! Most salvage companies wanted me to pay for them to scrap it but one guy said the exhaust was worth a few quid and didn’t charge me. I’ve basically just lost 7,000 pounds. I’ve written to Ahmed and explained all this and asked if he would offer any compensation but he has not deigned to reply……Quelle surprise! It’s been incredibly distressing and hard to believe that such criminals can sleep at night.

Avoid this garage at all costs!

Avoid this garage at all costs. I purchased a vehicle in September 2023 and paid cash. Was advised it had a small fault with the power steering that would be fixed within a week. It transpired the complete steering rack had to be replaced (and the garage were aware of this before I purchased it) and this wasn't done until February 2024. I was without my car for 5 weeks and was given a loan van which was not taxed! When my vehicle was returned to me it had a faulty door lock and now a faulty roof which won't go up. Was told I could not return to garage as faulty goods as they "had no room" and to take to local garage knowing the 6 month warranty had expired. During this entire time my phone calls and emails were ignored constantly and at one stage the owner screamed down the phone at me. Just a nasty horrible experience that has put me off purchasing another vehicle at this time.

I experienced a similar situation to…

I experienced a similar situation to the other review..definitely don’t recommend this company for buying any car from. They’re not trustworthy, or reliable.
I was desperately needing a car back in August of last year. Came across the car I was looking for.. Vauxhall Meriva. It was literally just out up on the site that same day I believe. Also like to add, he seems to put up cars for sale without them even being fully serviced or checked to be road worthy.
So I went to view a few days after calling him, he advised he had just got it in from a part exchange, it needed new tyres, some paint work on two panels on passenger side due to a scratch and some minor interior work… all pretty basic things.. so because I was desperately needing a car I drove it home that same day and paid in full and we agreed that we’ll book the car in the following week to have the work done that it needed. (I am too trusting, clearly!)
After the arranged collection, they had it for a couple of days. They informed me of ONE tyre change, the paint job on both passenger panels, the interior work and that was it. I then went on to say, he told me all tyres needed changing (as it was a female that called me and not him) and I was just fobbed off with the garage said the tyres are fine 🤦🏻‍♀️ but even though the last MOT that THEY done on it advised all tyres to be changed, (also, don’t be fooled by him telling you they take it to a garage, they do it all themselves in their own ‘garage’ with their employees so they can just pass anything off! ) they need investigating in all honesty!
It wasn’t worth paying £4300 for, but I definitely learnt my lesson!
They didn’t even give the car a full service either..another thing it didn’t have for a couple years before they got it according to paperwork, which I mentioned and all they said was due to mileage it doesn’t need to be done.. another way they just sell worthless cars.. they really don’t care about anything other than money.
Just avoid this car garage at all costs!

Worst experience ever, buying a car

I purchased a White BMW M135i (2012) from Jordan Motor House 29th September 2019 for £11,500.

I reported the following issues to the dealer a few days after purchasing the car:-

The advert stated the car had covered 66,000 miles. After purchasing the car & driving it away the same day I noticed it actually had 69800 miles.
There was vibration at the rear when pulling away in 1st gear.
Stop start issue - the engine fails to start as normal (Starter motor turns over, but takes time to fire).
There was a water leak on the bulkhead, which leaks inside the car to the driver’s footwell.
A drivetrain fault (Cylinder 3/6) This has been reported once before, engine misfire.
The engine does not idle normally, all of the time, it will sometimes race to 1500 rpm when stationary.
The engine has cut out twice, when in gear, but stationary.
Service history in the idrive has not been updated, as the dealer promised.
There was vibration at the rear at higher speeds.
Did not receive the spare key.
Excessive oil usage.

I reported 3 days later that the car was using excessive oil (from full to min in 300 miles - 1 Litre of oil). I had taken the car over to Belgium on holiday, covering around 1500 miles.
The car consumed 5 litres of Oil during this time. The car broke down with the engine misfiring many times.

I emailed the dealer and he responded the next day. He asked me to return the vehicle for it to be investigated. He advised, they would resolve all issues including a refund for any oil used.

I returned the car to the dealer after returning from holiday, who loaned an older car whilst the issues were being looked at.
I collected the car 11 days later hoping all issues would have been resolved.

I drove the car the following day, the car broke down with the engine misfiring again. The AA diagnosed the issue. I was towed back home. It did not appear any faults had been resolved.

The car was not driven again after this breakdown.

I formally rejected the car within 30 days as the dealer failed to respond to any of my emails or calls advising of all the issues. This was the case throughout the dispute, taking many weeks for a response.

The dealer offered to refund £9500 after 1 month of use, which I rejected, taking off £2000 from the original price, despite rejecting the car within the 30 days of purchase.

The car was advertised on the AA website stating that the dealer was part of the AA dealer promise. This isn’t worth anything, as they mediated for months but could not get a resolution. One of the promises was that the dealer should “Honour their obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to protect your purchase” which was totally ignored by the dealer.

I contacted a solicitor, who mediated for many months. The dealer was not prepared to refund the money for the car in full with costs, after months of email/calls. I offered to allow an inspection at my home, but the dealer wanted to take the car away. I was concerned that the dealer would not return the car.

I had the car independently inspected by Automotive Consulting Engineers Ltd. The report concluded that the vehicle was not of satisfactory quality at the time of purchase.

The dealer offered to refund £11,500. I rejected this amount due to the mounting costs which were around £1500.

13 months after purchasing the car, I proceeded with court action. The court ruled in my favour, awarding a full refund and costs. Even after judgement, I had to wait many weeks for payment.

The car is still up for sale on the website as of 19/04/22 for £3000 more than I paid for it in 2019.

I cannot recommend purchasing a car from this dealer, as they have some very, underhand business practices and do not abide to the law, unless forced to do so. Everything is ok until you complain, don’t expect to get a refund without a fight, plus you’ll wait a minimum of a week for responses to emails, when the owner does decide to respond.
