I brought a DWX full-size. They had the best price. Very fast shipping. I definitely will shop with them again.

Best gun shop in Kentucky bar none. They sell silencers, sbrs and machine guns. I get everything through them or transferred to them. The SS kiosk is awesome too. Great group of folks.

The company claims to buy used guns. Went through a lot of trouble to take pics and write detailed info on a three I wanted to sell. Never did they contact me back; I even wrote them a little asking if there was an issue and still never heard back. I had dealt with them for years as a loyal customer, but I will never deal with them again.

I bought a Magpul Butt Pad for a shotgun for $13.35. They charged me $13.94 for "Shipping & Handling". I paid more for shipping than I did for the stock plate. Obviously this is a rip off and not actual postage.

I wanted to buy a HK Elite, which is offered at their website. Turns out, it's not available. I spent some time with their chat ("Becca") and tried to figure out how to get it (online ordering did not work; fortunately I could not pay!) and finally asked to call me back. It never happened. Beware.
UPDATE 13 April 2026: Communication with them is difficult and their chat useless, but the transaction was swift and professional, and the price ok. I upgraded to 4 stars.

The old bait and switch. If you fake me out on having a pistol for sale, then I would expect that you actually had more than one lonely pistol being dusted off. This is one of the oldest tricks in the book. This type of cheap advertising trick then throw in the bad reviews from recent purchaser's, time to move on and subsequently block this merchandiser for good.

I've purchased several firearms from them in the past and had zero issues. Shipping has been a little slower for a couple but they shipped from partner dealers. I ordered one that wasn't on our roster but I failed to look it up, they called me and worked out another purchase. Great customer service.

Overall experience was great.

Horrific purchasing process especially for anything class III, be prepared to have your paperwork in a stack for at least 2 weeks and they won’t call you.. so you have to contact them just to get the process started. Incompetency at its finest.

Bardstown location is at least ran better, Louisville is an absolute joke.

They advertise that they look for trade-ins so I sent them a detailed list with four firearms I was looking to trade in and one very expensive firearm I was looking to purchase. Two weeks and three emails later, no response to my question about the value of my trade-ins. They apologized several times and promised to respond quickly, but they never did. I finally gave up.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A SHAM, THEY SELL PRODUCTS FROM OTHER WAREHOUSES, I BOUGHT 5 DIFFERENT ITEMS, NOT RECIEVED YET, AND I WAS CHARGED 3 DIFFERENT SHIPPING CHARGES FOR THE ITEMS, 3 DIFFERENT SHIPPING LOCATIONS. NEVER AGAIN, IF I EVEN GET THE PRODUCTS!

I have been buying from them for some time now. If you find what you want in stock and priced fairly reasonable they usually beat most on pricing. Because they don’t charge tax they will usually price their stuff to reflect others overall price including tax. Free shipping and no tax are great benefits but their order process times can vary greatly. I’m at 9 days now since my last order was placed and it still shows processing. Overall I am happy with them just understand that it may take a while to ship.

I recently purchased the new Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp, and my experience was generally positive. While the shipping process took a bit longer than expected, I appreciated the free shipping and the fact that there were no taxes to pay. The shipment was handled by FedEx, and it arrived at my FFL in just three days. When I went to pick up the gun, everything was in order, and I was pleased with the overall experience. I will definitely be purchasing from KYGUNCO again in the future.

KYGUNCO lures customers with competitive prices and “in-stock” claims, but after placing my order, the experience fell apart. My item didn’t ship within the expected timeframe, and when I inquired, I received a vague response: “Our shipping times are 5-7 business days from the date the order is placed.” No explanation was provided for the delay or what happens during this period, despite follow-up attempts. They close everyday doing nothing to get their orders out the door. This lack of transparency and accountability feels deceptive, especially after payment is secured. Avoid KYGUNCO if you value clear communication and reliable service.

I never received the product because it was delivered to some unknown persons and unknown apt. address. I sent multiple emails with photographic evidence clearly showing that the package was not delivered to my apartment. I called Customer Service multiple times to find out what they were going to do but I was told that they farmed out my order to a third party and that they weren't responsible. More than once they told me that they were going to keep me posted about any lost package claims made by the third party but they never do. I have been trying to get resolution for 11 days now since 6/18/25 to date but to no avail. They pass the buck, lie and have done absolutely NOTHING to make this right. I am disputing this charge and their evasive conduct is FRAUDULENT. I have documented every call, email, and have photos. I have names, dates & times. This is how they treat a disabled Senior Citizen on a fixed income who cannot afford this loss by fraud and negligence. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY !!!

There's a statement on their website where they state their products process within 1 or 2 business days. It's a complete lie and if you ask them to cancel your order after waiting 4 days for it to even process they'll just tell you their products ship in 5 to 7 days and charge a 10% restocking fee even though they haven't done anything to deserve the money. Buy from somewhere else if you want your stuff in less than a month.

I placed an order for a few magazines that turned into a circus. My card was charged correctly, but I was then notified that there were "discrepancies" and I should submit a copy of my Drivers License in order to "protect their customers." My first thought was "scam."

I expressed my concerns via email and was told I needed to verify my address by submitting some document that showed my name and address. I had already told them that the acceptance of the charge by the CC company proved the address was correctly linked to me, the card holder. Nope, not good enough. And still no reason given other that "discrepancies." Oh yeah, and now it's "protect our customers and our company from fraudulent orders." Remember, the CC company had already authorized the charge.

I told them I had provided all the information needed to purchase 3 magazines, and to cancel the order if that was not sufficient.

I will give them credit for promptly canceling the order, but I not attempt a purchase with them again.

Fast and efficient service. They have a wide selection of firearms far beyond what you find in an ordinary gun shop. I have very selective tastes so this store suits me just fine. They are always competitively priced.
