Excellent but can be awkward for a beginner (Barad-Dur)
I really enjoy how the final product came out (Barad-Dur) and will get a light kit for any future sets.
I did have one problem and that was probably due to this being the first time I have added lights to a set. I found some of the instructions where unclear and hard to get my head around or get the lights into the correct place. It would of been nice if there where some youtube videos as a tutorial for tricky parts per set to use as a reference.

Much better compared to others
After using other lighting products from random ebay/amazon sellers that only give a link to the Chinese instructions. The ones from Light my bricks are significantly better both for the instructions and the product itself

LMB 2.0 and Notre Dame set
I recently completed the Lego Notre Dame build using the LMB2.0 system. What a revelation to add the lights during the build rather than after - in fact, I can’t even imagine how you could without breaking the whole thing! The new parts and wires are also a massive improvement!
The finished model looks absolutely gorgeous and I can thoroughly recommend both the model and the LMB lighting scheme

Excellent customer service
I cannot recommend Light My Bricks enough. The quality of the kits, instructions and customer service is first-class. While there are many various cheaper options, I fully believe this is a case of getting what you pay for and that is the best designed lighting for sets.
I recently managed to get the Ghostbusters Firehouse Lego set and went to get the Light My Bricks set for it,only to find it had been discontinued. A quick email to their customer service and they managed to locate a set for me and even filled out the order so all I had to do was click pay. This is ecallent service and just another reason why I'll continue to be a loyal customer!

A frame Cabin lights
I’ve been looking at light my bricks for a while but didn’t know what to get. I chose the Aframe cabin to light up and I am not disappointed. Very easy to install slightly fiddly but worth it in the end! Very happy with the end product!

Light My Bricks is my go-to provider for LEGO lighting projects. I've no interest in the lighting kits they do, I'm far more interested in the components for lighting up my custom MOCs. I've never had a problem with their components, they're always well packed, work, and do exactly what I need them to do. Of course, that have "version 2" now. I've not used those, they do not seem to sell them as components, only kits. I'm not sure whether they're all that great for MOC lighting? Hopefully, ther v1 components will remain available, otherwise I might end up being disappointed!

However, it will take some time to roll these out due to the number of kits and components involved. We appreciate your patience and support, and we hope the 2.0 components will meet your needs just as well!
Mixed feelings
The customer service was brilliant with lots of support pre purchase. The final desired look was achieved, however on reflection when you see what you get I think it’s very expensive for what you get and it is also extremely fiddly / difficult to put together.

Always easy to order
Always easy to order. Unfortunately, returns are a tad more difficult post-BreaksIt - sorry Brexit - but the staff were super helpful explaining that despite ordering the wrong item (RGB leads), they would connect to something different that I seem to already have, so not a waste of money.

The lighting kit is excellent
The lighting kit is excellent, it has really brightened up the Hocus Pocus house. The kit is nice and fiddly, I like that 😃
Apart from my butter fingers and constantly breaking things and subsequently putting every back together again, I really enjoyed the lighting experience. I have the sound effect kit to connect yet 😀
