Professional Background and Qualifications Dr Prashant Sankaye is a highly qualified Consultant Radiologist with extensive experience in musculoskeletal imaging and a strong educational background. ​ Holds multiple qualifications, including MBBS, MS, FCPS, MRCS, CCBST, FRCR, PGCE, and PG DIP in Sports and Exercise Medicine. Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and NCFE-accredited in the health sector. Previous roles include Head of Speciality MSK Radiology at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and various advisory positions. ​ Clinical Expertise and Interests Dr Prashant Sankaye specialises in musculoskeletal imaging and has a broad range of clinical skills in radiology. ​ Extensive experience in reporting MSK radiology and ultrasound scans, including trauma, infection, and tumours. ​ Proficient in performing MSK procedures such as joint injections, ultrasound-guided aspirations, and advanced interventional procedures. ​ Strong focus on sports-related injuries and repetitive strain injuries, ensuring tailored patient management. ​ Teaching and Mentoring Contributions Dr Prashant Sankaye is dedicated to education and has contributed significantly to teaching and mentoring in radiology. Active member of the British Society of Skeletal Radiologists and the European Society of Skeletal Radiologists. ​ Regularly contributes to national and international conferences and courses in MSK and rheumatology imaging. ​ Holds roles as an educational and clinical supervisor for Royal College of Radiologists trainees. ​ Research and Publications Dr Prashant Sankaye has a robust research background with numerous publications and conference presentations.
