Fake trojan warning that locks browsing immediately on webpage loading.
There is fake 'toll free' number to call Microsoft Support 01218159354.

Have to do ctrl+alt+del then Task Manager to end the Chrome task.

I am reporting to Google and Norton as neither seem to prevent this webpage / website from interrupting what I am doing.

I have tried going in via the home page manualslib.com and searching for the Goodmans manual, but the pages are so full of ads it's not at all clear what's going to happen if you click.

There are other websites where you can find manuals.
Always go to the manufacturer's website as the first port of call, if they still exist.

Started to download a manual for a singer sewing machine and got the infamous phishing scam that froze the computer and said to call Microsoft - Had to [ctrl/alt/del] and open task manager to close the window and run a full computer scan.

Went to download manual and it was 53 blank pages.

Waste of time

They couldn't find the manual and then booked 47,90€ extra. Without asking or anything. Tf?

Absolute ripoff artist. They advertise everything and send you nothing. Total frauds. AVOID

I had a similar experience as reported by others recently. I was reading a users manual for an Emerson VCR/DVD player - I had not downloaded it, but was just reading it online - and was suddenly thrown off the page saying there was a security threat and I had to be blocked. It all happened very fast and it was just gone. I don't even recall if there was a phone number given for me to call or whether the sudden warning came from Microsoft or anything.
I rebooted my computer and will not use this site again. Darn. I really wanted that information.

Windows "System locked" with a scam number to call for help. Locked almost everything but ctrl-alt-del which worked to bring up task manager to kill the browser.

I strongly recommend Manualslibrary. I have used manualslib nearly daily and have for many years. I’ve recommended it many times to my clients. I worked for Sears Service for 34 hrs, retired and now have my own repair service.
Manuals library has always been extremely reliable, always FREE and has had information on every model I ever searched from a hair dryer to a lawn mower to an antique sewing machine.
I have never had any bad experiences.

If someone wants payment for anything, they’re not Manuals library.
I have never heard anything about getting a virus from this site. I’ve never heard of it from anyone to which I recommended the site.

I noticed that many of the ‘hacked’ comments are from 2023 or earlier so this may be an outdated review.

Saved me - Spot on manual for my quad - really helped me

This site is full of pop ups ,very misleading, you think you are paying a penny fee to download your manual but in actual fact you end up subscribing to a 1p free trial and then £29 per month thereafter.

Clicked on Download PDF to download a PDF of a manual and it downloaded a .exe file. Deleted it immediately!

Went to this site looking for a washing machine service manual. I was immediately confronted with pop-ups and the site refused to close. Rebooted the PC and ran Malware Bytes. There were no problems, but the site felt very unsafe. Will not return.

Full of malware. Just spent 30 minutes trying to get a "Your computer has been attacked" message off. This company knows what it is doing and what kind of links it is either selling or operating. Stay away.

Bonjour. J'ai fait l'achat ce jour d'un manuel chez Manuelslib et payé 10€ pour cela.
Une fois le paiement effectué, j'ai eu message d'erreur, un email confirmant que mon paiement avait été accepté mais n'ai jamais eu mon manuel.
L'email fournis dans la facture n'est pas joignable. Bref il s'agit bien d'une arnaque.

Since a few years i look for my manuals here and almost always find one. Never had any problems browsing (using an adblocker) or downloading on their website. The manuals are complete and correct.
