They are very professional and accommodating. Lynda especially went above and beyond to accommodate some of our requirements. Huzaifa, also has been very helpful with moving in formalities and all of our queries. All in all, I would totally recommend their services any day!

Rented from Martin & Co West End for some years and had fantastic service. Very professional and efficient at managing any issues and always able to get someone on the phone.

We never had a single issue with this agency for three whole years. Regular property inspections were carried out every six months, we kept the house in good condition, paid rent on time without fail, and thoroughly cleaned the property the day before returning the keys.

The problems only started once we moved out. Since mid-November, they have been attempting to unfairly deduct from our deposit, claiming damages that simply do not exist. The property was left in the same condition as when we moved in. We repeatedly asked for proof of these alleged damages, and the only evidence provided was a few very questionable photos of areas that had clearly been cleaned.

On top of this, the rent was increased every year by £40 — from £780 in 2023 to £840 in 2025 — and the same flat is now being advertised for £920 across all platforms.

Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this agency. New tenants should be aware.

From my perspective tenants are treated fairly and with respect. Martin and Co. will take time to discuss and resolve issues appropriately.

I have been renting through this agency for the past 7 years. For the first few years I didn’t use to find them particularly useful or responsive, and felt like they were quick to blame me for things needing repaired in the flat, rather than help and get them fixed. It was so bad, I would only call them if I wasn’t able to fix something myself, or if it was way too expensive, but overall I was trying to avoid it.

I carried that mindset over the years. However, after the pandemic there were a few occasions in which I needed the agency to come and fix a couple of kitchen leaks and, most recently, an electrical problem. On all of these cases I was speaking to Yvonne Zmidzinska, reporting the problems and seeking solutions. To my pleasant surprise, my experience was completely different than before - Yvonne was always nice (even when I was stressed out on the phone), she was very helpful and quick to arrange a plumber/electrician to come and fix the problems in the flat. Yvonne has been very supportive and I definitely feel confident in reporting any issues with the flat to the agency now as I feel I can speak openly and honestly with her.

This is the first time I can confidently say I recommend Martin&Co West End.
