The enrollment process is easy and convenient. The presentations explaining MASA are excellent and informative. I did have an issue when I called to advise of travel outside the country; I was transferred twice, and finally advised I needed to email MASA to inform them about the trip. But now I know what to do when the need arises. The people at MASA are great to work with, very personable.
We received answers to all our questions when we signed up for MASA. Mary was very helpful and informative and provided excellent advice on our best options. We have yet to use the service (though we have come close to needing it). We trust that should we need their services they will perform equally as well as they did when we signed up.

The presenter, not sure if I should use her name, is wonderful. Awesome knowledge of the product and services and sometimes, the hidden positives and negatives to have and not have this sort of coverage. Hard to believe we will have this for life. Thanks be to God, we are living longer and fuller lives. I didn't know until a friend had the problem, that all insurances do not cover the cost of ambulance services. My husband did not have coverage. Fortunately, for me, I have always because of my coverage as an employee with the Commonwealth of Va.
I have been an MASA member for about a year now, and though I have never needed it, the MASA team has always been quick to answer any questions I have about my membership. Helping not only ensure that I am covered but getting my family coverage as well. Thanks MASA team.

I spent most of my career as an insurance agent specializing in Medicare. I used to tell people, “Get your Part A, Part B, a drug plan, and a supplement — and you’ll never have to worry again.” But unfortunately, that wasn’t always true. Several of my clients received ambulance bills because Medicare either denied the claim or only covered a portion of the cost.
One of my own family members was hit with a $78,000 air ambulance bill — and that’s when I knew I needed a real solution. That’s when I found MASA.

As a senior, having MASA gives me real peace of mind. I know that if something happens and I need emergency transportation, I won’t be hit with surprise bills. It’s comforting to have that kind of protection at this stage of life.
I’ve been a MASA member since 2018. I am 43 years old and never thought I’d have to use it. But since I volunteer with the National Ski Patrol and K9 Search and Rescue I knew there was always a chance, a risk, that it might happen to me. In September of 2024 I ended up very ill in a hotel room in St. Louis, MO and needed to call 911. I was 3 miles from 3 different hospitals and the ambulance arrived with me at the hospital before even having time to start an IV. I was billed over $3,200 for this short ride and my insurance left me with $2,208 of that bill. One phone call and one follow up email to MASA with my bill and they took care of it. I never had any follow up from the bill, it was just paid.
Thank you MASA for helping ease my mind and make things much easier in a stressful time. I’ll continue as a MASA member for life,
