Very pleased with the way Mctears handled my sale I would confidently use them again

Excellent staff and very professional
Been buying from mctears for over 20 years

I made a very easy first transaction on line.
It was a simple procedure and I won my picture

Valuation, collection of goods and auction all done as Covid restrictions eased. Everything was well planned and organised.

Some of the staff were first class but some weren’t as good

By far the best auction house in Scotland

Very efficient and reliable service and the item was very much appreciated. Everything you would expect form a highly regarded auctioneers.

Being a novice to the Auction world and submitting items with certain sentimental value was quite a daunting task, but the calm professional approach taken by McTears ensured that I was clear about the process and had the greatest confidence in them. This was not only very helpful and comforting but also confirmed my commitment to recommend them and certainly approach them again should our need arise.

Thank you Graeme Maxwell for selling my husbands malt whisky collection. I am delighted with the way that you dealt with the valuation and auction. Many thanks

Thanks for your valuation, clearing and auctioneering - all very efficient.

Professional service from start to finish.

Great cafe , good viewing area , well spaced out auction room , would have given 5 , but hammer percentage too high.

This was my first attempt as a private individual, at buying at auction and naturally had considerable concerns. The staff were very reassuring and very quickly allayed my fears. I was guided through the whole process with ease and I'm very happy to say that I was successful with my bid. The only problem was delivery by Parcel Force who cannot be recommended for delivery. However, this is no reflection on McTears or their staff for their outstanding service! Thank you.

yes it was good service, but i paid a lot for it.
