Worst company to deal with as Deliver newspaper after 9am when business opens 6am! do not listen And to not correct their mistakes. Losing me business, they’re despicable. Would not touch John Menzies with a barge pole if I had the choice..

Was waiting in all day 8.am-6pm for courier to pick up my test kit, (Imperial College study) had a text at 8.20am saying pick up between 9.30-1.30. I called Menzies at 2.30pm, as no sign of them and they said they would email courier and someone would call me soon with update...nothing...called again at 4.35, they said they couldn't help, as they had already sent the previous email and I should wait for contact. No one arrived. Complete day wasted..

No support or understanding of late delivery on SME. Delays in distribution are YOUR problem and transport between depots is your problem. Have they been printed later? Come on it's not that difficult. I ran a fleet of 30000+ vehicles and NEVER had this level of poor performance in house or from contractors!!!

Absolutely shocking service 😠 The local driver and area manager are horrific! Avoid this company, especially if you live in the Highlands!

Menzies Distribution operating in Scotland are a great company to work with. The delivery staff are polite and very helpful sometimes going the extra mile to help a client. Would have no hesitation in recommending Menzies Distribution as a company who care about their clients. Well done to the delivery staff.

Service is poor and the local delivery driver is rude. After complaining the area manager was also rude and unhelpful

Dreadful service in the area around Badenoch and Strathspey.

Drivers deliver to wrong place. and sign for items they don’t deliver to the correct place.

They Turn up at odd times.

On checking a delivery yesterday with DPD the tracking information stated that the delivery was refused when no attempt was made.

A complete fabrication and DPD investigating as the sub contractor was Menzies distribution Inverness.

If it’s late in the day the driver just goes home and does not bother with delivery.

I suspect it is one particular driver who services the Grantown on Spey area that is the underlying problem.

It is a constant issue when Menzies are the sub distributor.

Ask your carrier NOT to sub contract to them.

Do not use. Do not give any money. Bad service and menzies trick is that it will introduce you to crap couriers who you will give money to, then they give some to menzies and then claim you need to contact them.

menzies website is run by a shadow company and menzies will then tell you it is in their terms and conditions.

Do not spend with these, let them go out of business !

Menzies deliver Yodel parcels in our area and they are worse than useless.
Yet another parcel that never even left their delivery depot on the appointed day according to their tracking!
Miraculously at the end of the working day the tracking updated with their usual false bs claim of unable to locate your property.

We dispatch via Menzies Distribution and so far they lost 2 parcels out of 400 dispatches, have to mention that each parcel weight 20kg and yes, you will not get any compensation back, even you filled in all the insurance forms.
Yes, the Inverness depot is the worst to deal with, the Office manager Isabel will simply hang up on you, she will blame everybody and everything. may be is time to move to Hermis.

Do Menzies ever read these comments or even care?? I contacted Menzies to re start our newspapers and magazine deliveries. I rang them on the 11th May and requested that could they collect a key to our back lean to,as no member of staff would be around when they delivered the magazines to us.Totally ignored the emails which where sent to our Hull distribution centre. Rang again 20th May as magazines due to be delivered tomorrow 21st May. Told another email has been sent to Hull branch and i would be contacted at lunchtime. Guess what ... NOTHING .Diabolical customer service...

An absolute disgrace in the Inverness area at least. Don't deliver just dump your parcel somewhere convenient for the driver, driver in my area is a loud selfish opinionated rude man. Customer service is a waste of time and collection from depot is just another round of rudeness.

Try delivering The Sun newspaper in full on Saturdays to AM/PM Scotter Road Scunthorpe!!! Last 4 weeks paper only delivered once.

Booked parcels for collection. Didn’t turn up and took me forever to find a way to contact them on their parcels website. Tried emailing in main distribution website and no reply. Finally found a live chat area by looking under a completely different section and was told there was an error that would be looked into and someone come back to me next day ( it had been booked for 3 days). They didn’t! Chased again and after looking into it all again was told there was still an error with the label and would be cancelled and refunded. Now two days later and still waiting on the refund to be accepted never mind paid!! Absolute rubbish. Steer well clear. Luckily my customer was understanding but added a further 5 days into his delivery which isn’t good for my reputation as a small business.

Excellent service; item collected and delivered the next day and very reasonable priced compared to other companies thanks so much.

Had a bad experience from Inverness depot,..This company does not give a flying *&^% about you or you parcel .. waited for a whole week for one. Endless phone calls to useless staff and 2 failed delivery attempts meant I had to go and pick it up myself meaning a 140 mile round trip .. 'computer says no' mentality at depot, shocking service for this day and age. Shame theres not a no star rating.
