10working days to receive "next working day" items...
Made an order via Company Supplies for next day delivery on 7th March. Half of my original order arrived on the 13th March and the rest was flagged as damaged several days prior on the 10th. Company Supplies sent replacements on the 10th - to date these have never arrived. Company Supplies then sent out more replacements for next day delivery on the 17th - however they didn't turn up til the 20th.
So it took 10 working days to receive my order rather than the "Next working day" as I paid for....

Oh Dear. Not a good impression for a new customer.
Actually watched delivery driver pull up outside my flat, get out of van, go to back of van, then go back to cab and drive off, minutes later the tracking was updated as an unsuccessful delivery.
Of course it was, they didn't even try. Won't be using viking direct again whilst they have these bunch of numpties delivering or not delivering as it turns out.

Ordered from Viking Direct on 22/02/2023 at 17.45 received my order 22/02/2023 from Menzies Hull Depot this morning. First Class service from all concerned parties. Leicester / Hull / Spilsby Lincolnshire. Professional service from all. A big thanks to all.
Avoid this company
Why do Viking use this company. As they are so bad I will stop using Viking as you cant trust deleivery of products. Today the driver could not be botherd walking down our road to our house so posted it through a random house. I have had to chase where it is, but home owner says they havn't got it.
Well done Menzies, keep up the poor service.

We are a charity based in London today 17/01/2023 we were waiting on a Viking delivery it never arrived. The Menzies driver or the company did not have the courtesy to contact us. Menzies have no phone number that you can contact them on, nor do they have a tracking system that works. If you have a choice don’t use Menzies.

Rounds News closes at 13:00. The reason given was driver dispute. Our driver did a good job working 7 days a week to support his family.

Driver has obviously stolen my viking parcel. Menzies van appeared in the road, driver did not get out. 5 minutes later an email to say it'd been delivered came through. Both viking and menzies saying its delivered but neither able to provide a signature or photo. Driver is on the rob and I'm out 75 quid. A holes
driver assaulted me
driver was visiting a neighbour and parked on my property. Postcode: PO160HF
No apologies when approached and I was assaulted when I was waiting for him to return to the van.
One star is one too many as ignorance is no excuse for this sort of behaviour
Ignorant driver!
There was a build up of traffic on the A629, heading towards Halifax. We were behind driver with reg WU63UJH at 14:26pm. There was a merge-in occurring. And I don’t have to explain what that is as it’s self explanatory, but your driver clearly needs it explaining to. He was selfish and ignorant and drove in the middle of the road so that no one could overtake him to MERGE- IN. Luckily in this instance, there was no serious matter on our side and I hope there wasn’t behind. But there could’ve been someone behind him that had something more important on than delivering newspapers to the local corner shop.
Lied about delivery
Lied about delivery, was waiting for a urgent next day delivery. I always work from home but that day I spent extra attention to any van/doorbell, nothing turns up but end up updated as delivered. Totally unacceptable

ordered from viking for next day parcel delivery, but tracking stated delivered but not received, the time stated out for delivery and delivery time the driver must have flown because of the distance takes more than an hour, approx. 30-40mile in rush hour. just found out 7hrs later delivered to another address put thru letterbox don't deserve any stars

I would prefer to give it 0 stars. I payed for a subscription to Saturday Times. I had supplements missing, had to keep calling them. When I renewed my subscription the first two papers didn't show up at all, they blamed a van breakdown. I cancelled and asked for a full refund. I have finally received my refund minus the cost of the two papers I never received. It's unbelievable that a company can behave in this way! Always check when you make a subscription who the distribution company is and never trust MENZIES!

My parcel was delivered to the wrong address, when I complained to the company a courier came out making excuses about why it was delivered to the wrong address found out it was pick up and drop of at my address which is a lie as Iam still waiting for my parcel not rocket science to work out it’s been stolen by the courier still working with the company I ordered from to resolve this issue not holding my breath they have to be the worst courier company in aberdeen only when you complain they know where your address is iam going to complain further up the chain as Iam not happy at all
I imagine this week they will come see me again and tell me more lies
Yet again lie about delivering a parcel
Yet again ordered sometbing from Viking Direct and yet again Menzies lie about it being delivered. It's because I live in a rural area that they can't be bothered to deliver to as it's not on a route to anywhere, but working from home means I have a clear view of any van coming down the lane and so can't miss delivery.
Monopoly Menzies
This is not the first time, but this is 3rd times happening in a week !! Absolutely late newspaper delivery (as we do home news delivery and school boys & girs can not wait until Menzies uncertain delivery arrives, not only that they keep missing inserts, especially weekends papers. Moreover Eastbourne Menzies branch is the worst ever branch I came across. Customer service has no idea and they are not helpful at all.. very evasive and slackness. If we have any alternative we would have gone!! But they are monopoly 🙄
Reliably unreliable
The delivery of newspapers used to be reliable, the papers being on shelves by 07:30 at the latest here in Ripon. Recently, especially on Saturdays, the service has become reliably unreliable with papers being delayed by hours, sometimes. It is a long way from the company boast.

Perhaps this was once valid. It is not now.
Don't go near this Company
This company was very difficult to deal with. My goods went missing and my query was ignored until I threatened them with taking them to court. They refused to take responsibility despite a Delivery Note being signed by Menzies. The company who supplied the goods have kindly refunded me and are going to pursue the company for the goods themselves. I wouldn't go anywhere near them again and would advise others to do the same.
Fast and Courteous Delivery
A delivery from Viking, but I asked for it to come today, and not next day, as I am not always in. The parcels came just after midday, the driver was friendly and courteous, and the parcels in pristine condition. Delivery the way you want it.

We are American travelers dropping our daughter off for 2nd year at Uni I. Scotland. 3 of 4 bags made the journey. The lost bag was immediately addressed by Yolanda (I believe she was Dutch), a Menzies employee. She was kind, thoughtful and proactive in attempting to solve our problem. We followed up the next day at the baggage reclamation center and a young man named Mark/Matt (I apologize for forgetting) was exceptional. Kind, patient, overworked and uniquely qualified for the amount of aggravation he was faced with, he resolved our issue in less than one hour. We’re relatively well traveled and this was, without exception, the single best air travel hiccup of our lives. They both deserve acknowledgment and a raise. Incredible people. Many thanks.

Absolutely the worst business in the world. Incapable of delivering papers with all inserts. No explanation, no apology. Happened all week. Why don’t they just give up. Such a load on of none sense
