INCOMPLETE & UNSAFE WHEELCHAIR
I feel extremely disappointed and really quite angry with the disgusting service provided by Mobility Solutions from Glasgow. We were given a courtesy wheelchair while they had ours which had a battery issue flagged up during the service. This courtesy wheelchair was given to us incomplete, it had no anti tippers attached. This resulted in the wheelchair tipping over while we were attempting to board a bus. My husband was injured as well as myself and a bus driver who tried to help us. Also according to KARMA themselves this model wheelchair is ‘not crash tested so not suitable for bus travel’. Mobility solutions did not inform us of this fact. Apparently it’s ok as it’s only as issue on a bus when the wheelchair has to be tied in, 3 days later though the bus to Aberdeen would have meant us having to tie down the chair so yes this would have been an issue if we hadn’t had to cancel due to having an unsafe wheelchair. Disgusting service. It can NEVER be right to give customers an unsafe, incomplete wheelchair.

Fantastic customer service. The gentleman provided home servicing for my much loved mobility scooter .Turned up on time, went above and beyond to ensure the scooter was left in great condition, and at a very reasonable price . I will definitely use this company again and can highly recommend .

Absolutely fabulous service. Martin came to do the initial assessment to determine the type of powerchair my brother required. He was extremely knowledgeable and understanding. He returned with Wayne's chair 20/08/25. We are absolutely delighted with it and we are sure it will give Wayne a little independence. The service we received was second to none and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mobility Solutions for all your mobility needs. Thank you

Worst Motability experience ever. Patronising, makes decisions on my behalf on my chair about things I am paying for, (how dare you think you have that right when you are paying for it you can make decisions about it!) (if that's not treating the disabled like we can't make our own decisions I dunno what is). They wouldn't dare do it to anyone but the disabled. my new dealer is still trying to sort out the mess they made of my chair. And this is a high end chair that costs around 14,000 pounds, two months later cuz of MOBILITY SOLUTIONS it's still being sorted out. Put a second hand part on my brand new chair to cover up their own mistake. And that part is faulty. In just over two months of having the chair I have not had a a fully working chair yet only a dangerous one to go out in. I am in the chair full time. Clueless is the only fiitting word. I assume the same laws apply to class 3 power chairs as for cars in selling dangerous road vehicles. IOW it's against the law. Unless Motability start penalising some of these dealers financially, for providing an awful service nothing will change. I can't see me getting my next chair from Motability after the ordeal of this time.

I have a folding quickie krypton wheelchair. I bought a lap stacker to make shopping easier for me.
I didn’t know how to attach the lap stacker and contacted mobility solutions to ask for help.
I am unsure of the name of the person that fitted my lap stacker. I did deal with Joanna by email and phone and she let me know this would be possible.
I dropped my chair off and picked up. The company did this for me free of charge which I am so grateful for.
The Lap stacker lets me shop independently which is hugely important as a single person.

This company is absolutely fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable about their products and the home demonstration completed by Will was excellent. He really took his time with me in finding and getting the right powerchair. I cant thank him enough for this. The experience has honestly been second to none. From dealing with their lovely staff over the phone to dealing with them face to face. It has been superb. I 100% advise anyone going through motability or privately to use this company. You won't be disappointed. Thank you very much again. I cannot wait to get my new product. I'm like a kid at Christmas lol! :-)

My husband bought a scooter 2 weeks before lockdown but never used it. I used it 3 years ago after breaking my foot. But it's been in the garage ever since. Having recently had a partial knee replacement I decided to have it serviced as the battery power was low. It was collected from my home and I had a call explaining what issues there were and what needed to be done. When Christine returned it she gave me a lot of good advice on charging and care for the tyres, something we did not get from the retailer when we bought it. They were friendly quick and informative from the beginning, I cannot recommend them highly enough and will definitely be in touch should I need anything else in the future.

Honest company with total consideration and respect for their clientele, Martin came out and did my motobility demonstration & I was surprised to be told I could have my scooter the same day, within 30 minutes of Martin arriving at my property I had my scooter ready to go, Martin made sure I was fully aware of all the buttons on the scooter, how to move the tiller and chair. I find this company to be amazing and totally understandable and respectful to all your needs.
