I don't know what other people's issues are I have used these guys multiple times over the past 5/6 years. Every and I mean every single time I get exactly what I wanted and in a very reasonable time for shipping(couple days).

They sent half our order the first time. They still didn't give us all our parts in the 2nd order they sent to us. They did not refund shipping on the first, wrong order despite us ordering 2 day shipping and not receiving all our items on time. They have not only argued with us, they have lied to us claiming it's somehow our fault they didn't send us what they were supposed to. We sent them a picture of what we received and they still act like it's our fault they didn't send a part in 2 separate orders. In the end they told us we should just get the part at a store, which we had already done since they had taken so long despite us paying extra for fast shipping. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!!!!! They are greedy and rude.

I don't know why there are so many bad reviews. But modchipcentral was so freaking nice to me and answered every email I had. I ordered a $100 sky3ds plus from thier website and it legit got here in 5 days! I really recommend this website, and especially of you are ordering from Canada. I'm definitely shopping here again

Modchip central Ltd has the best customer service ever! And they are 100% legit because they got my xbox 360 slim modded with an xkey (v2). And I asked if they would install my demon dual nand, which wasn't even an option on their site, but they still accepted to do it. Now that is quality service! Thanks Modchip Central Ltd!

I should have listened to others. No idea where order is but it has been almost 2 weeks. There site says "RECEIVE YOUR ORDER IN 5-7 BUSINESS DAYS TO THE USA FROM HERE!". It's passed this and still no product.

Customs seized my card, and MCC doesn't do refunds.

Tried to buy a Gateway 3ds card from them with so many problems. First it started with hidden "international fees" of 5$ on top of my invoice, then they advertise shipping to the US in 3-5 days for 8$ only to have major problems with customs for their only shipping provider (USPS) which had my package for a month. They wouldn't do a investigation on my tracking number to check if it was lost, stolen, or seized either. Finally, they don't offer refunds or returns when there is problems so you basically lose your money when they mess up custom forms or something happens (lost, stolen, seized). Anyone should avoid them at all costs! Don't do business with them, you will regret it.

This company is the worst in terms of customer service. But don't take my word, just listen to my story and for yourself.

I baught 2 items from these guys. The first order was for a progskeet. Their site said it was in stock the day i ordered. A couple days later they hadn't shipped the item and when I contacted them about it, they said it was waiting on a cable but would be shipped that Friday.

I waited and the next week came. The product still wasn't shipped (notice their site says they ship withing 2-3 days and it had been over a week). Once again i contacted them and their reply was they didn't have the product (not the cable, the entire product). When i asked for a refund they insisted it would cost 25% off because the credit card fee (even though I wasn't returning anything. It never left their warehouse) and once again said it would be shipped by that coming Friday. The entire time this back and forth was going on, their emails were rude and trying to place the blame on me for ordering the product claiming "I knew it was out of stock" and "their website said it was out of stock" when in fact their website did NOT say it was out of stock.

Finally they DID ship it. I got it via ups and tried to use it. The product didn't work. It would turn on but the drivers never worked for it.

So I ordered item 2 since a driver issue isn't their fault but progskeets. Item 2 was a 3k3y and ripper (it was a package deal, so counts as 1 item). This time they shipped without problems. Yay! but that was short lived when the ripper failed to work.

The 3k3y worked perfectly but was an outdated firmware ver. (easy fix but annoying).

The ripper did not work at all. So.... Since I now had 2 defective orders I decided to return them both (not the 3k3y just the ripper and progskeet). I emailed and they aid to send it via usps ONLY and gave me their address. It cost me $32 to send a small box back to them since it's international. That's more than the ripper costs alone.

They sent me another riper immediately and I got that today. Guess what? It's defective. The lights don't work on it but since it does work, I'll keep it (just won't use the lights).

The progskeet? I asked for that to be refunded. they haven't refunded it. Instead they keep emailing me back and forth insisting it's my problem it doesn't work and that they will deduct fees if I insist on a refund. 2 new fees have magically appeared so far and I still don't have a refund.

So be warned. This company may not be a total scam (u do get the item.... eventually) but they are known for sending defective items and making it hell to get the problem fixed. I'd advise you to look elsewhere for your needs.

***SCAM*** They are cheaters and liars. After telling me they would replace a defective unit for free, I sent it back to them only to have them tell me I would have to pay for the replacement. They flat out lied. Bait and switch. Stay away from Modchipcentral.com.

I ordered an Avrkey on Oct 22 and received it on Oct 29 so I had no problems on my end. when i sent a question about the avrkey before purchasing, i received a response within 12 hours.

They send out their stuff without testing it when they know that the failiure rate is high before even opening the box


They do not follow up on their Rma's and you cant reach them easily

I post two orders in this site, the first one they send an e-mail saying that the billing adress have a problem and need some documents, I made the order in my boyfriend name, I answer the email asking to cancel the order. and made a new one in my name. For 3 days the status was Processed and after that the order vanish of the site. They don´t answer my contact in the site, the don´t have emails to contact, the MSN is always offline and THEY CHARGE THE 2 ORDERS IN MY CREDITCARD.
I don´t recommend this company. I thing the excellent review was posted by the orwner.

I happened to be unfortunate enough to order the evening before Modchipcentral went down for most of a day, in order to switch over to new hosting. In spite of this major technical undertaking, I received a polite and quick response from them when I asked if my order would be delayed, and it shipped out in the first business day since I placed my order. Shipping/customs was prompt, and I got my product the following day (with next-day saver shipping).

I realize there are some negative reviews out there for this company floating around, and I expect that it's simply that because it is a relatively small company, when something major happens (for instance, I remember reading that they lost a full day of orders), it can take a long time for an extremely small staff to pick up the pieces. This small company does an incredible amount of business every day, so I expect that most of the reviews posted are the result of a few off-days, not some continuing trend.
