We went for our daughters birthday celebrations while on holiday in Ayr. All the food was delicious. Very good quality and huge selection. The food cooked on the grill was amazing. We liked it so much we went back a few days later to celebrate the last day of our holiday. It came out at just over £20 per person including refill soft drinks. Which is great value!

Food was freezing chicken was like rubber food was tasteless got £15 taken off our order but still had to pay £40 !! When we were only there for 20mins and hardly even ate a full plate between the 3 of us my son and partner have had upset stomachs since will definitely not be back !!! Avoid at all costs if you can wish I read these reviews before I went wasted a nice planned day out

I visited their Ayr branch on Wednesday 27th May. Some of the food was ok. However other dishes were just warm and tasteless. I doubt if I will revisit.

Terrible food. Bad customer service.

Nice variety and decent food.
If it's in the Weekdays, too good value for money.
Free parking as well.
Only downside is that it's a bit expensive if it's Dinner or the weekend

The food is terrible and it’s that simple.
No taste to anything and the chicken they use in the curry wasn’t even edible. Chefs choice brand used for nearly everything ! After giving up with the Chinese and Indian foods we tried the pizza and even that was undercooked and rubbish. We used to visit here often but won’t return again !

Was in Ayr and my partner decided to treat me to a wee lunch date. Staff were very attentive and the young chap out front was great. Food was amazing, fresh & delicious. 1st time going for lunch but definitely won't be the last! 5*

Went Christmas day food Luke warm beef frozen inside tea Luke warm asked for another tea it was still the same they said would get some money back still not had any they said they looked at CTV to see how many times I went up for food I said did you look to see the girl take my plate away with food in it that you could not it eating Luke warm food not good staff was not happy we came out for Christmas day dinner and didn't get Christmas dinner in because we did think it was going to be good I travelled to take my bro out very disappointing hope I get my refund soon

After eating at this buffet last night for my nephews 15th birthday, an adult in my family suffered severe food poisoning, he has been up all night vomiting with severe diarrhoea and a child woke up with alarming facial swelling. Completely unacceptable. If this is not addressed immediately, I will escalate to environmental health, consumer protection, and take legal action. Disgusting dry & watery food not worth a single penny! The place needs shutting down!

Well what can be said about this place in Ayr anything good NO

So the inside looks nice and comfy can’t fault it.

So if you give to much food back on a plate they reserve the right to charge you £5, but this means they can at there discretion.

The chicken in all respects is super dry, lack of seasoning just drys your mouth out.

Try picking up food with there tongs, it’s majorly disappointing, they do everything to reduce the food getting eaten and it puts you off easily.

My brother loves a carvery but looked at the dry meat and walked away and I swear the mashed potatoes was smash watery and sloppy.

Pizza is really over cooked and hard and the ice cream had a horrible aftertaste. And the chocolate wtf was that. Honestly avoid this place going forward

My wife and I have just came out after our meal. Food was bad, apart from the apple crumble. Bad state of affairs when you only enjoy a desert. First visit and clearly will not be back again. 4 times I asked for the empty glasses to be taken off the table and they were still sat there at the end of our meal. 2 bus loads of passengers came in and you could not get near any hot plate, total nightmare. When paying for the meal, was not asked about our food nor if we enjoyed our meal. Customer service was well below standards. Worst buffet I have been to and I would not class this place as a world buffet. Chefs are so ignorant when trying to order freshly cook meats or fish. If it’s a good meal you want, give this place a very wide berth!

Hi me and my family are there every time we are at Blackpool and sometimes more than 3 visits on one holiday. Just want to say to people who like buffet and to this people who just like to have one dish. Food and service quality in mr Basrai are outstanding if there will be 100 🌟 i will put 101 because its just something you need to try if you stay at Blackpool. Best time is when they have the top buffet like weekend. It's just a bit more expensive. But on this moment you have 3 different chefs doing fresh on real fire and grill. Stake lamp chops pronse calamary and match match more only your imagination it's the limit. I will go there always me an my family staying up there. Hubby and I went t to Mr basrai Ayr for valentine's night. We had a lovely meal and the gifts that I got for valentine's day was so lovely. Lovely staff and very friendly

Absolutely amazing experience at Mr Basiris, the service from staff was second to none, was friendly and approachable and the food was perfect, red hot, and fresh just how a buffet should be. By far the best buffet in the Blackpool and Fylde area. Just to clarify we came an hour before closing time and they were still on the ball putting fresh food out for us. Couldn’t fault anything.

Went on 14th jan 2025 three of us for the buffet was excellent food was fresh and very tasty already planning a revisit would recommend to any foodie to go 😀
