Sadly I accepted an quote from someone with ZERO reviews - Sent him full details of my MOT Failure report and was charged £ 380. A week later took it for an MOT and it failed again on the self same items that had been "Repaired" This time costing me £ 1224 to put right.

Posted that engine light has come on and that I have a cheap diagnostic tool which indicated a Nox sensor fault. Asked for a quote for diagnostic and Nox sensor replacement, if required. Got only one quote (just for the diagnostic) from a garage in Northern Ireland, I'm in Stafford (England)...Brilliant !

Rude and overpriced came in 600 pounds higher for repairs than the best reputable garage in Kendal would not recommend

Reminded me that I needed an MOT. Gave me comparison quotes, making it easy to choose a good deal. So Im All booked in and 🤞 long May the stress free process last.

Needed a timing belt kit fitted to my car, this was on a Wednesday and needed it doing before the weekend, none of my usual garages could carry out the work until the following Monday. Logged in, entered details and within 2 hours my car was quoted for, I accepted and it was booked in the very next day.
Comms was fantastic as well.

Only two quotes. Both Halfords for £902 to change a cambelt. My local garage did for 450 so I wouldn't bother with getting quotes here. They will overcharge you by about 100 %

Booked an MOT for £10 cheaper than Mazda dealer. Booking was simple and quick. I have had a good experience at this branch of Halfords in the past, so I don't expect any problems this time either.

Website worked OK, got a quote accepted the quote, got an email to book a date. Booked it in then got another email saying they can’t do it.
So a bit let down by the garage. Why quote if you can’t deliver. Then the website thinks it’s all good and being done. Seems all other quote have disappeared and no way to carry on with it. Perhaps needs a rethink.
I will try to resubmit the entire job once more and if it works OK I will come back and add comments

Car booked in for next week, looks like I have a good deal, let’s update after work is completed
