Moving is very stressful and I was worrying a lot in the process especially because my 5m3 would clearly be an additional load. But all went well: The pickup time in Germany was anounced 24h before as agreed, adjusted by 2 hours half a day before and with the loading the driver was friendly and helpful. On the scottisch end my husband was especially pleased with the close contact and information he was getting on the time of delivery that had to be adjusted with the narrow, winding and tiring scottish roads! A very friendly and welcoming contact!

Just wanted to give a massive shoutout to Justyna and the team at My Cheap Removals. They made moving our home from Spain to England a total breeze! From start to finish, the whole process was smooth and easy. As soon as I first chatted with Justyna, she answered all my questions and was always there to reassure me.

Last year, when we moved to Spain, we had a terrible experience with another company that gave us a ridiculously low quote. When we reached customs, they claimed we were over by 800 kilos! We knew that wasn't right since we had asked for receipts and invoices, but they just wanted us to pay up right there and then. In the end, we had to fork out £1,800 or they wouldn’t deliver our stuff. Never using Wilson Removals again!

But My Cheap Removals had my back and promised that wouldn’t happen again. They scheduled everything perfectly and were super flexible about changing our moving day.

The driver was a legend; he contacted me the night before and kept in touch. He showed up bright and early, even managed to park in our tricky spot, and got all our stuff loaded up in no time.

In just two days, he made it all the way back to England and even waited for us. My flight was delayed, but it didn’t bother him at all. Everything arrived safe and sound, and we got it all into our new place. This whole experience was fantastic, and I would definitely recommend My Cheap Removals.

There are tons of companies out there, but these guys are not only affordable; their customer service is top-notch. They really take care of you and treat you right, which isn’t something I can say about others. The communication via phone and e-mail and planning was very efficient. It was very clear from the beginning of what's included and that loading and unloading needs extra help. We looked at several companies and they all kept changing the prices, were overwhelmed with our questions and what not while mcr was the only straight forward company with all the information available from the beginning.

Wow I cannot say enough good things about MCR's. Justyna was an absolute super star, we needed 2 vans after weighing all our belongings and with short notice Justyna absolutely delivered. Moving your entire life to a new country is already stressful but I did not need to worry about moving our goods, exceptional service, highly recommend thank you so much.

MCR made the process of international moving easier than anticipated thanks to the SUPER efficient Justyna. When you are as pedantic as I am, you no longer have expectations to avoid disappointment, but Justyna proved me wrong. MCR delivered everything she promised and we cannot be more grateful for her input. What was to be a dreaded process ended up being the easiest compared to the many moves we made in the past. The goods were picked up on time and though they experienced technical failure with the van, they deliver on time (3 days later from Southern Spain) and all in pristine condition despite having to move our goods into a new van. I also wish to mention they offer the most competitive price on the market!!! Thank you MCR, especially Justyna. She is an incredible asset to your company.

I found Mycheapremovals via a Google search. I was initially a bit unsure, but after submitting an enquiry and receiving an almost immediate call from Justyna, I felt reassured. Justyna was supremely efficient providing the requested quotations and effectively 'held my hand' through the process. The customs paperwork was easy, the driver turned up as booked and safely delivered our van load of goods to The Netherlands exactly as promised. Very highly recommended service and I would use them again.

I had a great experience with our move from Portugal back to the UK. For starters, I tried to get several quotes from different companies and My Cheap Removals were the only place willing to help. I appreciated the transparency over prices from the start, with prices on the website. The booking was super organised and detailed, which was reassuring. The move went well and everything arrived (undamaged) just a few days later. As some other people mention, the drivers tend not to speak English, but customer service were available to call even at the weekend.

I recently used MyCheapRemovals for a move from Amsterdam to Dublin, and regrettably, the experience was quite disappointing. While the initial communication with the office was professional and efficient, the service on the day of the move was significantly lacking, primarily due to the driver’s performance.

The driver arrived two hours late without any prior notice, which immediately set the move off to a stressful start. While he apologized for the delay, he explained that he had driven 6000km that week—this raised serious concerns about his professionalism and safety, both for himself and our belongings. Upon arrival, instead of starting the loading process, he spent an additional 10-15 minutes cleaning and organizing his truck, which was in complete disarray. This delay, combined with his late arrival, cut our loading time in half, creating unnecessary pressure to rush the job.

The driver’s inability to speak any English compounded the problem. For a company with a UK-based website, I had expected that communication would not be an issue. Unfortunately, neither we nor the Dutch movers assisting us could effectively communicate with him, making coordination extremely difficult and adding to the overall frustration.

Perhaps most concerning was the lack of care in how the truck was packed. The driver never entered the property to assess the items to be loaded, and as a result, the packing was haphazard, with little regard for the protection of our belongings. Both the Dutch and Irish movers commented on the poor standard of packing, and unsurprisingly, several items were damaged during transport. While the company later deflected responsibility by pointing to insufficient packaging on our part, the real issue was the driver’s carelessness in loading the truck.

In summary, while the office staff were helpful, the actual service provided was disorganized, unprofessional, and far below acceptable standards. The company’s refusal to take accountability for the damage only added to the frustration.

It's unfortunate as maybe I was just unlucky this time around, but I personally would not take a risk in using MyCheapRemovals again.

I would highly recommend this company. My move from Berlin to North Yorkshire was completed to perfection. Justyna advised and dealt with my enquiries promptly. The pick-up and drop-off were expertly completed by driver Mikolaj. Best of all it was done for roughly half the cost of the other quotes I’d had.

To give some background I moved from Portugal to the UK but wasn't certain when I would be ready to move due to my visa application being a block point.
This made it so that I had to give a rough estimate of when I wanted to move but ended up having to move the moving date some times until I had a decisive one.

Justyna was very patient and helpful throughout this entire process, always ready to help and clear any doubts on my side. Interactions with Sylwia and Matthew were both great as well.

The delivery was done quite quickly and the driver itself was a nice fellow whose english wasn't his forte, however he worked quickly and felt professional.

I do not usually take the time to write reviews but MCR are thoroughly deserving of a five star rating. They made moving my things from Madrid to Manchester very easy. They offered a substantially cheaper quote than competitors for a shared van move and this made me wonder if something might be lacking in their service, but it was fantastic. For a fair extra charge they were happy to unload my things into storage in Manchester (I wasn't present) and items were treated with care. I have now taken everything back out of storage and items were delivered in perfect condition. The paperwork was minimal and what was and was not needed was clearly explained. They were flexible when my requirements changed slightly in the lead up to my move. I was kept up to date throughout by Justyna and she was always available to answer any questions I had. I strongly recommend them; thank you very much for the help.

They are excellent. The website is informative, Sylwia answered all my questions very clearly, there are no hidden charges in their quote, the 20m3 van is exclusive for the client and is perfect for a two bedroom flat with dismantled furniture, the price is good, the delivery time frame is 2-3 days as they promise on their website and our driver Kamil was very helpful, punctual and efficient. He is so strong! Thank you Kamil! I definitely recommend this agency for international moves.

Second time I used these guys, and they are fantastic! No complicated convoluted processes, get a quick quote, fill in an Excel and you're good to go. They can fit you in last minute and they also do a great job of being fairly flexible with the time slot they give you. I really think these guys are unbeatable in terms of price/convenience/ease. It's a no-nonsense approach that really gets the job done. They pick up and deliver exactly when they say they will and everything arrived safe and sound in 24h.
