After discovering there was no survivorship clause on my and my late husband's Title Deeds, I contacted myprobatepartner.co.uk. Their service was second to none. They are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Right from the start, everything was simplified. Instructions and appropriate paperwork were sent to me immediately, at each stage, and someone was always available for any questions I had. The cost was much more affordable too.
Confirmation was granted and I can now instruct a solicitor to remove my late husbands name from the Title Deeds.

if you live in Scotland and need to fill in the C1 confirmation form you have 3 options
1. pay a solicitor 3 to5% of estate value ( up to £11000 in our case)
2. do it yourself we submitted it FOUR times. The problem is the court won’t tell you where it’s wrong!!
3. Engage MY PROBATE PARTNER. Using their services we got Confirmation within 3 weeks at the first attempt

These guys have nailed this process, everything is very efficient, some automated communications and Sharon was an amazing case manager helping me through the entire process. Once I received all appropriate information with perfectly clear instructions on what to do next to prepare to submit to Sheriff Court, we submitted and received Grant of Confirmation from the Courts within 1 week. Overall the process only took 2 weeks...remarkable! I used a solicitor before with another deceased relative and it took 1 year and was three times the cost. I was initially dubious about using this service but after a hefty quote by a solicitor, decided to give it a try. The team are super responsive and knowledgeable and worth every penny. If you are able to contact organisations yourself, and manage some paperwork, this service will provide you with the expertise and confidence to work through the whole process. Our paperwork was accepted by court first time and we were able to finalise the estate in the quickest possible time. Highly recommend.
