Newman Windows Carlsbad incompetence
Had high expectations for my two new windows in my Carlsbad home, and the windows themselves (Milgard) are fine, but the installation was way below expectations. The two installers did not wear shoe coverings or masks, little pieces of broken glass were here and there on title floor and carpet (still finding these), and the bottom wood window ledge was all pitted and marked (on the upstairs window). Installers called earlier in the day to see if they could come right over, but that didn’t work with the previously later in the day scheduled appointment, and after the installation the two installers left behind a ladder and some white tape that they had to come back and get later in the day. Also, someone called from Newman’s after the installation to see how it all went and at the time, I told them fine, but asked for a call back regarding obtaining some white caulking, but no call back. What we had in my judgement is weak installer skills ability, including not being careful, and weak customer service. A compensation of some sort to me as the customer would be good business/customer ‘best’ practices.
