Sliding patio door has been installed for over a year and still not right. Very difficult to close and lock properly. They have changed out the handle mechanism as it was so flimsy and felt like it was going to break. The new one is not much better. Now there are two big gouge marks in the frame where it is interfering with something. We have had continual problems with the doors which usually arrived with scores and marks on them. JML, the kit builder installed the windows and doors. Nordan after market service has not been very good. They have not been able to resolve satisfactorily the issues. I would not recommend Nordan at all. I believe they ahve had QC issues regarding the sliding patio doors according to our builder JML. Avoid at all costs. I think the manufacturer, Nordan needs to take some responsibility for the quality of the installer and if faced with serious complaints, they should take it seriously. The basic windows are OK but they are no better than the competition and I looked at a few before taking JML's recommendation to go with Nordan.

Ordered 2 * 2 door patio doors. Excellent product delivered on time and the price was very competitive. I had bought a front and back door from them 3 years ago and again product, service and price were excellent. My go to company for all doors and windiws

These are the best windows on the market, great service from Adam in the Exeter office. The mechanisms and movement of the sliding doors is plush and top quality. I highly recommend!

Having recently worked with Nordan's Exeter office for the supply of windows and external doors for 4 houses, we have found them to be efficient and knowledgeable with great products. The windows and doors are energy efficient and look great.

I moved to a new build property in 2013 which has Nordan patio doos and windows. One of the doors had a fungus growing on the bottom part since the beginning but I didn't pay attention to it and all I did was I regularly removed the fungus body. This year I discovered that the whole wooden panel is rotten. I contacted Nordan to find out if they can either address the problem, as the fungus must have been present in the wood prior to the installation, or at least send me the wooden panel, which must cost the company less than £10. Instead, I was told that the warranty has expired, that according to the T&C's I meant to repaint all doors and windows every year, and all I can do now is to purchase a complete new door. So good luck to any future customers with their products and aftercare!

We had six windows measured and fitted by the Nordan recommended fitter. We were wrongly under the impression we had to use their fitter to have their warranty.
Before we signed the contract Nordan rang us regularly to achieve the sale. They were pleasant and helpful.
Once we signed the contract the tone changed. We were not impressed with the operational side or the lack of oversight, mistakes were made and key information like delivery dates to fit in with the rest of the project were very slow to extract. There was a demand for payment before the due date were made with the wrong invoice. Our details and address were wrong but the admin failures were nothing compared to the mistakes iin the fitting by the recommended fitter.
Betwen Nordan and the fitter the three windows on the top floor are too small. It is not clear where the mistake was made whether Nordan reducing the size for the factory to make or the fitter not measuring properly.
All of this was avoidable if Nordan were more diligent. We had accepted the visit offered for technical advice before fitting. We reminded Nordan we had accepted the visit but nobody came until things went badly wrong and even then it took six weeks so from October until January we had windows which were not correctly fitted and had water coming in during two storms. We had trim supplied through the fitter which had the paint peeling off. We would not accept this. He took the old windows out and left us with gaps so you could see the light which he did not correct for weeks.
The Nordan technical expert eventually came out and wrote a report acknowledging the windows were fitted wrongly and were then wrong size. We got a phone call from a manager and that is it. We have had a discussion about the rest of the order but the Nodran UK management appear quite indifferent to the poor service we received. Nordan UK is a relatively small outfit which supplies an expensive high quality product and so there is no excuse for the service we received which increased our project costs and delayed the project significantly

Customer Services were contacted on 21 November and 22 November with photographs. I complained to the Sales Manager in December about the lack of response . He said that Customer Services would help and respond on the paint issues.
Customer Services did not acknowledge or reply to my email or get involved with us. This is part of the very poor experience.
If they do not know who I am then it is because they do not read/respond to email. It seems only the Sales team engage effectively.
Please open and look at the email sent at 22 November at 14.47. You have all the information you need . Nordan UK is not big company.

Information was slow to be issued. Payment had to be made well before doors delivered and payment was requested on Tuesday with payment expected that week, which seemed a bit sudden

Had Nordan doors and windows fitted to our new build. Windows are OK but the doors, front and patio are awful. Can’t shut them properly, difficult to unlock and open. All our neighbours have the same problems. Not using Nordan for the extension.

Visited showroom received fantastic advice and high quality products made picking Nordan a no brainier. Made a huge differance not just the look of the house but our energy savings as well. Would thoroughly recommend visiting the showroom and viewing the high quality items

Inverness team never seem to answer emails or follow up issues. Amongst a number of issues I noticed when my windows were delivered for my build back in September 2023 were two wrong external trickle vent covers and a paint defect on one interior frame. Whilst the vent cover problem was resolved relatively easily the paint question was sent off to Poland for investigation and no answer has ever come back. I prompted once, nothing, and frankly lost patience - too much to be getting on with on site! I'm writing this review now as service at this particular office doesn't seem to have improved two years on. I emailed Inverness team on 7 January 2025 with a query about lamination specs on my windows and they still haven't got back to me. Wish I had ordered via Aberdeen!

The service I received from Mark the Engineer was outstanding, he promptly called after my initial concern , and was with us within 30mins . The repair was carried out quickly and efficiently. This is exactly why we decided initially to choose Nordan as a quality product and that they were based locally to us . I would highly recommend them !

Both Joanna - who coordinated the booking - and Adam - who did the repair work - were absolutely fantastic. Thoroughly professional in all regards from flexibility and timely responses from Joanna, through to how Adam managed the repair work. Cannot speak highly enough of how well the NorDan team have managed our two requests for support, such a stark contrast with others we've dealt with in the construction industry over the previous four years. Replacement latch sent out without any question. Immediate dispatch and simple to fit. I am delighted with my doors and windows and have used Nordan for many properties over the years.

We have a house built 15 years ago with a lot of double and triple glazed Nordan windows. I just rang the Aberdeen office for some advice on the technical side and they were absolutely excellent.

We bought 11 triple glazed windows and doors to install in a beautiful steadings conversion in St Andrews as part of a comprehensive energy-saving retrofit project. The products look superb and our customer is delighted. Nordan made sure everything was spot on and were very attentive in looking after us as installers. Couldn't ask for more.
