The front sash windows of my Georgian cottage (in a Conservation area), were all in need of replacement. I came across North London Box Sash company by lucky chance.

Their free quote for total replacement with double glazed wood like-for-like sashes was carried out meticulously, and supplied with full illustrated technical explanation, (included installation and removal of the old windows). I had had rough quotes before, but felt that their service and product offered was very competitive.

It’s rare to be able to say right from initial enquiry, quote, acceptance contract, through to installation, I was really impressed with the quality and top skill professionalism of all who were involved. It was a genuine pleasure to have used North London Box Sash company and I remain grateful for the superb appearance of the windows, inside and out, as well as the noticeable difference in insulation with double glazing!

The team were brilliant from start to finish. They were responsive, reliable and the end result is of a great quality. We had a sash window replaced and had such a good experience we asked them to then replace two further windows. Could not recommend highly enough.

The entire experience was first class. The quoting, measuring and booking processes were really efficient. The standard of materials used are excellent and the quality and care of workmanship was outstanding. North London Box Sash can be highly recommended.

Had three grotty drafty old windows replaced by NLBS and was completely delighted by the new, perfectly fitting double-glazed replacements.
The difference in heat retention in the rooms is extraordinary.
The quote was very competitive.
Everyone arrived at the time they said they would arrive and finished by the time they said they would be finished.
We were warned that removal of the old windows would produce dust - and it did - but the installers worked hard to mitigate that and were a pleasure to have in the house.
Full recommendation
(FWIW this is posted 8 months after installation, I was asked to make a post and am happy to, the windows still look immaculate)

I can not recommend this company highly enough - mark, luke and guys are top their game. Replaced all my wooden sash windows and doors to exact match of original Edwardian design. Best investment I made.

Responded quickly with a fair quotation and kept to the agreed deadline for installation of two replacement double-glazed sliding sash windows with frames. Windows are excellent - train noise and draughts are a thing of the past - and work was done efficiently. We will use Mark and his team again.

Very happy they managed to recreate our 130 year old windows which now look original but are double glazed as well!

Fantastic windows - we were so pleased with the first set we got some more done recently! Mark’s team are very experienced and easy to work with. Thank you!

Happy with the work. I bought my window online but was looking for someone to fit it as my builder let me down. I found North London Box sash by doing a google search and chose it because of the good reviews so I wanted to add my feedback as well. I would defintely recommend the company. I felt there was good customer response from Mark and the work was neat and tidy and professional. I would use them again.

Really please with our new windows from North London Box Sash. Good quality, good value and installers were friendly, responsive and timely.

Efficient service. Reasonably priced and good looking result. Men were pleasant and hard working, managing a large double window up two flights of stairs. Very happy with the outcome and would definitely recommend this company.

Mark installed two large bay windows and a single box sash this week. I couldn't recommend him and his team more. Incredible build quality, great value and very little disturbance during the 3 day process. The house was left more tidy than they found it!

This was the second time we have used North London Box Sash. In both cases we replaced modern double glazed windows (installed in the 1980's) with Box Sash windows. The windows are excellent quality and look great in our Victorian terraced house. Everything worked smoothly, people came when they said they would and did what they said they would do. I would have no hesitation in using North London Box Sash again, or recommending them to my friends.

North London Box Sash supplied and fitted a replacement double glazed sash window. Very professional service, high quality joinery and glazing and expertly installed. Recommended.

We had a fantastic experience with Mark. The process was easy and he was so helpful with advice on period windows. Both windows and gorgeous and we will definitely be using again.

We're really happy with our windows and the way the job was done overall.

Excellent window installing - excellent window! Greatly improves the look of the room in question (in a late Victorian house). Work all carried out very efficiently, on time, and everything left clean and tidy.

Excellent quality, reasonably priced. Professional. Highly recommended.

The whole process was excellent - very good value. One window was damaged on arrival and it was quickly replaced without fuss. Fantastic value compared to national window installers. Fantastic quality .
