I sold my fathers house through Ocean and their lawyers took 7 months to complete the sale. They blamed the other lawyer at one point who were, you guessed Ocean lawyers

We were very pleased with everything. Quick to reply to emails and any questions were answered promptly and clearly.

I am a property developer and landlord and have been a client of Oceans for at least 15 years. They have found many fantastic properties for my company and have done an amazing job making all aspects of the purchases as smooth as possible. The also find tenants for me. They are very thorough in their vetting process and always give great advice. They really do go above and beyond with their service..... and they're good guys too.

The estate agent service from Lawrence and the Ocean team in Downend was extremely professional from the outset. The marketing of the house was particularly impressive as they captured the character of the home extremely well along with the use of drones shots to give extra view of house.
Once house was sold the team were also exceptionally good at providing updates and keeping me and the chain informed of progress right up to completion. The rates for the sale were also competitive so all in all I can’t recommend Ocean enough if you wanted a solid cradle to grave selling experience.

Simon Lack has been invaluable in helping us negotiate confusing mortgage changes, he advised us on the best time to switch which has been very beneficial. We wouldn't no what to do without Simon's amazing advice.

We duly followed his advise.
A plus is that the fees are very competitive.
It sold very quickly after a flurry of interest.
The sale went through fairly quickly.
Throughout the whole process we were given professional service by the whole team. They always kept us up to date with what was going on and acted on our behalf when we had to overcome some obstacles.
I really cannot find anything bad to say.

A very mixed bag. The agents and the conveyancer were 4.5 stars but the move manager was one star. At best her purpose seemed to be to tick boxes without being proactive and at worst to suppress information from the other members of the chain. A crass response that I ‘literally gave two dates’ when I’d actually given an either/or statement was a classic. So in a word, unprofessional.

I would highly recommend Ocean Estate Agents. I received an excellent service, from start to finish - over a period of more than 1 year, from time of instruction to completion of our sale, 2 sets of buyers later.

When the first buyers unexpectedly dropped out just before we expected exchange of contracts (a stressful moment) they acted quickly to relist the property and found us an excellent buyer. They handled the interactions with the various potential buyers with professional skill.

We were also impressed with the follow up provided by their move managers, ensuring that all parties and their conveyancers remained engaged and informed and the transaction kept moving. Communication is so important at this stage and it requires diligence and dedication.
