These should not be problems, and they need to fix their web hosting

A problem occurred and the technical support people found an obscure setting in my iPhone that needed to be changed. That fixed what was a vexing problem that was not the fault of 1Sim VOIP.

As a digital nomad, I've been a customer of OneSIMCard for four years. The pricing is competitive. In most places, the SIM card works well.
Last year, I added $200 to my balance. This was a mistake because apparently your balance expires after 10 months if you don't add more money to it. Lesson learned.
OneSIM Support is reliable as long as you have a great deal of patience. One of the representatives has been working there for several years and is very knowledgeable and helpful.
One minus is that there's no way for customers to view our balance history. As a result, sometimes your balance can be a mystery. Now I keep a record of mine.
I looked into the DataMax SIM, but it appears to require an eSIM, and international phones that are eSIM-compatible are very expensive. Maybe someday I'll get the DataMax SIM.
All in all, I will continue using OneSIM.

I paid for 1GB of data for 30 days in Russia. I was charged $20 for the physical sim card, $3.99 for postage, and $8.90 for the data. This card has no coverage in Russia. I was in St Petersburg for over 10 days and it never worked. I know it was installed properly because it worked in the US and in Turkey, but not Russia. I emailed and told them they had no coverage in Russia, but they didn't care. Fortunately, I didn't rely on this card. I had another one fail on the trip before. I bought a different phone with ESIM and used NOMAD and it worked perfectly. If you are going to Russia get a phone with ESIM.
response-I don't know where you get your records, but all I can say is I was never able to access the internet with your sim card. You can make me sound like a liar, but I know I'm not. I'm trying to make other people aware of the issues with your card in Russia. I would never trust your company again.

I have been using Onesim since last year. I have used it in Europe and Turkiye and I had a great experience. Not only that the customer service is really good. Whenever I signed up to contact the support chat, I contacted knowledgeable and helpful people. Today, my agent was proactive and suggested a better option - even though I was looking for an answer for something else - for my next travel that saved me a lot of money. I highly recommend OneSim for those who are traveling and do not want to purchase a local sim card every time they visit a new country.

First, every OTHER international physical SIM card I have ever bought immediately works automatically when installed-not this one even though my plan essentially covered the entire world. I installed it in Mexico & nothing. Contacted CS & all they did was provide chat replies that didn't work for two full days. Only when I got to Europe & reinstalled the card did it finally work. I bought a 2 gb/30 day data only plan (only needed the plan for 20 days total) AND I always set my phone to data saver. Basically I only use it for GPS in cities & for Whatsapp & Google. That's it. In the past that is MORE than enough data for 3 weeks. Yet somehow after about 15 days I get a vague message that "your data is almost used up" BUT unlike other SIM cards it didn't say how much is left. SO...I checked my phone data usage-it clearly showed that I used ONLY 1.30 gbs of data since the date of installation YET when I logged into my acct. it said I have used about 1.84 gbs. WTH??? I contacted CS WITH a screenshot of my phone's data usage but they claimed it was WRONG but refused to document how I used the amt. they claimed. They kept lying to me over and over again but would not provide any documentation. I had 3 days left in my trip so I didn't want to buy another $20 plan that I would never fully use BUT had $5 in credit where I could buy a SINGLE day of data for $4.50 for the nation I was in on my last day. But lo and behold when I went to do so it was magically down to $3.71 so I could NOT buy the one day plan! I kept getting the run around from their CS & they finally relented & gave me enough data to get to the airport. Additionally one of their CS agent had to gall to tell me that I could download Google Maps directions to use offline...no S Sherlock! But that is a pain in the keester & NOT why I bought a data plan-the arrogance & hubris was unreal. I don't buy a SIM card & a data plan to have all kinds of hassles while I am trying to actually enjoy my vacay...avoid this company & their lame product at all costs. Finally they don't have 24/7 chat CS-almost every time I had to leave a chat message & then it would take up to 12 hrs. to get an e-mail reply-unacceptable as well.

The user interface is completely outdated. I once lost $50 for credit that was never activated, and another $50 because money was deducted directly from my customer balance even when no credit pack was purchased. Customer support doesn't respond. I initially chose OneSimCard for the ability to receive SMS, but that doesn't work either — not with my bank, nor with Google verification services.
I've now switched to AIRALO and I'm 100% satisfied. My girlfriend uses HOLAFLY — there are occasional bugs, but she always gets refunded and their customer service is responsive.

Don't take Onesimcard,
On Iphone, their app doesn't ring if your phone isn't unlocked and the app isn't open. So it's completely useless. What's more, no alert appears when I don't pick up calls. When I call Europe, instead of my U.S. number appearing on my correspondent's display, there's a French number! Response from technical support: it will take more than a day to solve this problem. I'm still waiting for my number to be displayed correctly after a week. Reply from the app: I've reinstalled our app.
I have reinstalled their app 5 times on iPhone, without success.
Refund request in progress.
REPLY : I tested 5 numbers in Europe and all of them has the same issue with a french number instead my US number appearing. Didn't have the time to send you a request for refund now. Will do it tomorrow for sure.
