To clarify your response: it was inaccurate, which unfortunately does not surprise me.

Why would I pay to test your produce for high nitrate levels or pesticide contamination, then pay again to have those results analysed, only to send them back to you? That responsibility lies entirely with your company. You should be carrying out continuous quality and safety checks—not relying on customers to do your job for you. You mention being a member of the Soil Association, but that alone does not guarantee the standards you seem to assume it does.

High nitrate levels are not a mystery. They are commonly caused by over‑fertilisation and excessive pesticide use—issues that fall squarely within your control. Your reply suggests little understanding of how such contamination occurs.

You also claim to have emailed me, yet I received nothing at all. Not a single message. You failed to dispatch my order, but had no issue taking payment and holding onto it. If your company is so desperate to keep £31, then by all means—keep it. The fact remains that I paid for my order six days ago, and no refund has appeared in my account.

Since January alone, I have placed at least four orders with you: 11 January, 17 January, 6 February, and 21 February. To be told I am “not a loyal customer” is frankly insulting. Many of my Trustpilot reviews have been positive, and when they are not, they are honest—because people deserve the truth. If companies deliver substandard food, poor service, or behave unprofessionally, customers have every right to warn others.

As for involving my legal team, that option remains open. I have more than enough evidence to pursue this further if necessary. Fortunately for me, I have far more important things to focus on than educating you and your management about crop contamination—both in the UK and globally.

Top quality vegetables, well boxed up, delivery was excellent! I chose Organic Delivery Company because they specify which products are grown in the UK, and I believe it's essential to support British farming, as it's under such a high level of attack right now. If we don't support British farmers, they will disappear.

it took a WEEK to let me know that my order was not in stock. i was waiting on that order to be fullfilled. i was not informed until it was to be packed for delivery.!

Firstly food fresh . Apart from one rotten orange. Lettuce in bag went off quickly. Oranges ordered were for marmalade..I didn't realise..my fault. DOD delivered to my door in pouring rain when I redirected to neighbour which they acknowledged!boxes soaking wet. So overall bit disappointed. Jane

The quality and freshness of the fruit and vegetables was poor. The kale was dry and calloused. Broccoli needed using right away the same with the sprouts, these were also old. My bananas were badly bruised and one apple and a satsuma split and going rotten.
You might fool the trendies in London but not a country girl who used to grow her own. When I lost my land I went over to Riverford and you have a long way to go to match their quality and service.

Slightly disappointed in how the produce was packed, during transportation a packet of Kalamata olives were damaged and the broccoli and kale were then covered in olive oil.

Excellent prompt delivery. Have not got through to much of the products yet but what I have eaten so far had been delicious.

Good quality fruit and veg, delivered on time. Tasted great; kept well (with one tiny exception) in the fridge. I will be happy to buy again from this company.

I’ve had 3 deliveries from the organic delivery company so far. The service has been good. Easy to use website. I buy the products I want rather than a box. It gets delivered around 8am on my designated delivery day by a very polite and cheery driver. It took me a while to research how to keep stuff fresh, as being organic, it can degrade quite quickly. So far it’s been spot on and definitely a company I’ll stay with.

My first order but certainly not my last. Everything bursting with freshness and far better quality than anything I can buy locally. Well packed and damp veg double bagged - thoroughly recommend Organic Delivery Company to all who care about what they eat.

I ordered my first box just before Christmas after not finding a farm shop within 30 miles of my home. The vegetables and fruit were perfect and saw me through the Christmas period. They arrived on time, were fresh and good quality. The cauliflower in particular was very tasty just plain steamed and in a cheese sauce. Very happy with the quality and delivery of my organic veg and will be using the Organic Delivery company now instead of the supermarket.

The website is very easy to use and delivery times are flexible. It made ordering easy. We loved the range of things available and the fruit and veg. you delivered taste great. It's really good to get a box with no unnecessary extra packaging and the prices, for organic food, represent good value.
The only thing which stopped this being a 5 star review is the fact that the big cardboard box everything was packed in arrived very battered, despite having a 'Fragile' label on it. It meant that a couple of apples and a courgette were battered into pieces and we had to throw away three squashed satsumas. This obviously isn't your company's fault but I think it would be a good idea to check with DPD that they handle with a bit more care. We're going to try another order anyway. Thank you.

This is my first order and I am exceptionally pleased with my purchase. I liked the fact that I could choose which items I required rather than a random selection. The quality and quantity of the vegetables is excellent and I will definitely be ordering again. Thankyou.

I have been with the company for almost 10 years and I must say the quality is not as it used to be. We had some amazing items, purple carrots, some interesting veg, they even sent me a bottle of olive oil on my first anniversary with them. Now, they charge for delivery, and the new website is not as user friendly.
I still find them better than other competitors, but I miss the old level of service.

The veg was not fresh. The apples were bruised and going bad. The cauliflower was covered in blackened areas, with yellow leaves. The kale was yellow in places. The extra order of mushrooms were slimy and certainly not fresh!, the sprout stalk was yellowish and the sprouts a bit shrivelled looking. I contacted customer support, provided photos of the delivery and asked for a refund - which they did give. This was the only good part of the company. The veg was most certainly not farm fresh and looked like it had been kicking around the barn for quite a few days. My overall impression was not good. I would advise using another organic veg box provider - unless you enjoy veg many days past its best.
