No communication after automated order confirmation. Six weeks later, no goods, no response to emails, does not answer the phone. Had to get money back via Paypal dispute resolution.

Appalling service. Ordered goods on 5 March 2023. Had an acknowledgement same day. Now 14th. March. Nothing. Phoned three or four times a day for the past. No answer. Message says send an e-mail. Done that three times. No response. Useless company. Do not use.

I have used Osbornes once before without a problem. However, this experience means that I will never use them again and my bookmark for their site has had 'Do not use' added to it and it has been moved to the bottom of the stack. Phoned them on Friday last week about non receipt of my order and it seems that they are selling items without them being in stock and they don't bother to tell you that your order is being delayed because of this. They said that they would send the in stock items straight away. When the items hadn't arrived by Wednesday I tried to phone again, no answer, so I e-mailed them. Still no answer. I phoned them again on Friday this week and was told that they had been sent and they would try to get some tracking and come back to me. Needless to say I have not heard from them. Miraculously, the part order arrived today by 24 hour tracked post. What a coincidence.

I ordered several items in stock on December 5th and 7th, 2022. According to the normal delivery time, it is expected to arrive within 5-7 working days. After a month of no delivery and no contact from Osborns, I tried to call multiple times to check if there was a problem with the order but no response at all, I also emailed three times and of course no response, after going through 4 months in, I decided to seek help.
I searched for the relevant regulations and the provisions in the Consumer Rights Act 2015 regarding distance contracts seem to apply in my case, I don't think Osborns is a trustworthy online provider anyway.

I purchased a Dennis rs London's burning fire engine from Osborne's and to be honest I was a bit worried about the Negative reviews I read But to be honest I received my item within 2 weeks and that was during the postal dispute Michael from osbourne's Kept me updated throughout Many thanks

If I could give Michael zero stars, I would. He has taken my money and he hasn’t sent my order. After months of chasing and being fobbed off he has now taken to ignoring my emails. I think a visit to Bideford might now be required. A very shoddy way to run a business. Be warned people, spend your money elsewhere.

Waited a month, tried to call many many times, no answer on phone.
When I did manage to get through, was told 'waiting on suppliers'. Asked why it was showing that was in stock when I ordered, was told 'I am not sure'.
Ordered 4 trucks for N guage, 2 and a half months later, 3 turned up. Called and called them, eventually got through and told they were still waiting for 1 more. Told them to cancel the rest of the order.
Customer service is non-existent, no call backs despite many promises. I will not be using them any more.

Excellent service. Helpful advise given on phone and order arrived quickly and well packed. Knocked off one star as we wouldn't have known some items in our basket weren't actually available had we not phoned first.

Ordered 3 x 009 Peco L&B coaches 8/9/22, according to their website items were in stock, waited a week nothing turned up so I tried to contact them, pointless using the phone as you get automated message. Emailed them, they replied several days later, "we are awaiting delivery from Peco" no mention of when. I contacted Peco, they couldn't give me a production delivery date. Emailed Osborn again to refund my account. Haven't heard didley squat since, so have had to contact my bank to cancel payment. YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DISPICABLE.

Ordered some Kato buildings and vehicles on Monday and were delivered on Thursday. Items were very well packed so arrived safely. Also responded quickly via email to my query. Can't fault the service so will use again.

Ordered some N guage items from Osborns. Had a defect on one item. Trying to contact them is not easy. They do not respond to emails and do not answer the phone. Not very good service. I've used them a few times in the past but will probably not use them moving forward.

While Osborn's Models doesn't always respond, or respond in a timely manner, I have found that they eventually deliver. I had ordered a DMU in January 2021, but it was out of stock. While it took several tries, and Osborns said they attempted to get additional units fitted with DCC sound to meet my requirements, I eventually received a replacement for my order that was acutally slightly better than my initial request. They're not fast all the time (several orders have arrived in just a few days or a week or two) but they have eventually done as requested.

Excellent customer service ordered a EFE rail n gauge class 17 last Thursday arrived with no problems the following Monday

I ordered an item on 1 July expecting delivery within 5 - 7 working days. When this period had passed with no delivery or communication from Osborns, I tried on many occasions to phone to check whether there was a problem with the order - no reply. I emailed twice - again, no reply. Osborns are seemingly regularly in breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in respect to distance contracts. They should not be trading online and potential buyers should be aware.

This model shop doesn't deserve any business i recently went on osbournes model shop to buy some coaches for my n guage railway so i placed the order they took payment then a week went buy no goods received so i emailed them to find out what was going on I've tried ringing them but all you get is the answer machine I've tried several times ringing them eventually i got an email saying they had a hold up with one of the coaches
But they advertised them as both for sale on there website.
So I've sent them an email to see if they have had any luck in the coach but I've heard nothing why do companies take orders knowing that they can't supply the goods

I ordered from Osborns models money taken straight away. Items where delivered a couple of weeks later. They are not quick to respond to emails but do eventually. On the upside they are food value and one of the best packaged parcels I’ve ever received. Please Osborns models do what you can to make things better

Terrible service. They're slow, never answer emails or the phone. I've waited over a month for the delivery of an in-stock item and still nothing.

Not a good seller at all there website is not set up for the modern market, there stock always says it is on stock but it is not, soon as i made the order they took the money straight away but failed to notify me that they had none of the track parts in stock and had to be preorded ive only had half of the order a month later from when i ordered back in early april and still waiting for the rest of the order, they do not answer the phone or do they rarely replay to email, i have asked for a update three times now over email but to no response, do not use this model shop you will only feel gilt about being robbed out of your money.

I never like to give negative a negative review, but this shop has earned one.
My order was placed on the 30th of March for which they sent me a confirmation email and charged my credit card. When I'd heard nothing after three weeks, I sent another email asking about my order. They sent me a confirmation of receipt ( for the enquiry) but have failed to answer it. A week later and numerous phone calls, all of which reached the answering machine only, I've had enough.
Like many that have gone before me, I too have had to resort to using chargeback to recover my cash.
AVOID THIS MERCHANT, (THEIR) CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT EXIST.

After several weeks of no correspondence asked how order was going. Was told it would be sent in a couple of weeks.
After 5 months of no further correspondence or arrival of goods, again asked where order was. Was told should have it by now and they would look into it. Waited over a week or so and still nothing about the order. Tried to recover funds via PayPal but transaction date was just outside their 180 day limit so now trying to recover through Bank/VISA.
