Very let down. Waste of money and poor customer service
I recently changed from spec savers to Oscar wylee and will not be using them again.
I managed to get a deal for 2 pairs for $200 (not including any lense modifications etc) I had my glasses for
2 months and when wiping them before putting them on, they snapped in half (from wiping them down as you would usually wipe your lenses before wearing…)
I took them back and was told it wasn’t included in warranty as it wouldn’t be a manufacturing issue and I would need to pay $90 as they broke but it was not at fault or the glasses or any warranty coverage..
these were a pair of glasses that were expensive! I got 2 months out of them and from a simple task of wiping them, they snapped in half.
I will not be going back there, I regret changing from spec savers as their customer service, product guarantees etc are great.
I do not recommend the quality or customer service of Oscar’s Wylee and would suggest
To go through an alternative company!

Oscar Wylee provides a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery on frames and lenses against manufacturing faults or defects. Frames constantly fall off my face
Frames constantly fall off my face. I keep going to get them adjusted but it doesnt help. I ended up looking online and got better fitting frames measuring for myself for a tenth of the price. I was able to try on the oscar wylee frames in store but then they have light lenses in. Once the prescription lenses are in they are so heavy so the fact they are the wrong size really shows. I would have hoped they measured for which frame size is correct for me but they offered no service or help with this at all. Over priced for what they are and the lack of service.

On 27 June 2027, I paid for 3 pairs of spectacles in their Loganholme shop (multifocal, for long distance and for reading). I collected the spectacles on 11 July 2026.I use the multifocal, the other 2 are for spare. After wearing the multifocal spectacles for a few days after collecting the spectacles on 11 July 2026, I discovered I have double vision when wearing that spectacle. I asked another spectacle company to look at it. That company on initial inspection told me there were no markings on the lens which is unusual and told me to take it back to Oscar WYLEE for their action. I lodged a complaint through their website on 16 July 2026 but have not received any response.

For the first time in years, I can actually see perfectly out of my multifocals—something other places couldn't get right! To top it off, the staff were so patient and helpful, helping me pick the perfect frames from their massive, stylish range at affordable prices. I’m so grateful to the whole team!

The staff were fantastic
The staff were fantastic, they helped me pick a suitable frame & guided me through the whole prescription process. The glasses are great, but because they are very light, I am scared that I will snap them when I’m cleaning them. They were very reasonably priced multifocals.

The staff in Bendigo were great
The staff in Bendigo were great. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Even when short staffed they still spend time with you and are very patient.
