Quality of fruit and veg is really great. The tomatoes especially are super delicious, I can really taste the difference between grocery vegetables and Pale Green Dot!

I was disappointed. The tomatoes/pepper/courg were bruised, the lettuce was wilting on the outside, the cauliflower was past its best. Also, on the website there are 2 sizes of box, one advertised as a 'veg box', the other as a 'fruit and veg box'. As I didn't want any fruit I ordered the 'veg box', and a third of it was apples and oranges! Sadly this isn't for me, I was hoping for a more unusual/premium selection given the restaurants they advertise they supply, and for it to be fresher.

Really lovely fresh fruit and vegetables in my subscription weekly box. I look forward to it coming every week! I love they use a box that can be recycled, my cats love to sit it in too!

First box was really good, second box was pretty good too. However, I have had the same veg for about 5 weeks now. Have cancelled my weekly subscription due to lack of variety. Decided a trip to the supermarket might be a better option than the same 5 veg week after week. Even at this time of year, you could find things like leeks, spinach, rhubarb etc. Yet these items never came. The box is meant to be local and sustainable yet I had kale marked as being from Spain and oranges every other week, which probably don't grow in the UK. The quality of the produce was mostly good but it feels like Pale Green Dot have overstretched themselves with all the new boxes and decided to make the regular box worse by bringing out a more expensive 'premium' veg box.

For the first week we received good seasonal produce, however the variety becomes quite standard supermarket staples for the following weeks and seasonal products disappeared. It is hard to justify with hungry period, as the first week we ordered was in March (when you would expect less vegetables growing than end of April). At some point we receive one Pak Choi with yellow leaves, clearly a lot of filler vegetables just to fill the box. I wonder whether it is because they want to push customers to order 25GBP premium box and taken the seasonal varieties out of normal box. This is disappointing.

We were really looking forward to our veg box and expecting fresh, varied veg. Unfortunately, we were really disappointed when it arrived today.
I felt like there were a couple of good items - like really nice looking tomatoes, a small aubergine and fresh salad leaves (the latter of which seem equivalent to what we could get in the supermarket at a fraction of the cost). Then just a lot of filler - lots of onions, potatoes, a few small carrots.
From the other reviews, pictures and advertising we were expecting something a lot more exciting, but seems like others have had a similar experience over the last few days. Alas, it's an experiment we won't be repeating

They've got this up and running very quickly so there werr a few hiccups at the start with our order, but they were very helpful sorting it out and it's a smooth process now. The quality and quantity of the veg we get is great. Have recommended it to friends who live nearby as well.

Very impressed and grateful so far. We've had the veg and staples £20 box three times and have no complaints at all. The produce has been fresh, varied, colourful and good value. It has made us try new things and we look forward to it each week. Amazed by the size of the onions!

I ordered veg box and it came the next day I was disappointed with the lack of veg it certainly wasn’t what their website said I would get, especially since you have to watch every penny I certainly won’t be using this firm again.

Very happy. There was a delay with orders when I found them first but they had put a note on the website to this effect and I received an email stating there would be a delay. Now have a weekly box and the fruit and veg are great, very colourful and fresh.

The new cheese box has good quality cheeses. Tasted 2 so far. Will be difficult to resist trying a new one tomorrow. Lovely jar of cheese in oil and rich mozzarella.

Would you like to eat fresh produce with unbelievable colours and sublime taste delivered regularly to your door or periodically then look no further than palegreendot. We’re relatively new customers having taken weekly delivery of our third staples box with a feast of fruit veg eggs bread and milk all sourced with minimum carbon footprint as from local farmers. We’ve yet to sample their cheese and meat boxes however we were delighted with what we’ve received so far. For us Christmas comes early as we look forward to our weekly box full of memorable produce. I’ve personally got hooked
On the sliced bread as it’s very tasty and dense but doesn’t leave you feeling bloated. We’d forgotten how colourful and flavoursome the right fruit and vegetables are.. very much reminds me the produce of a top greengrocers. I’ve already recommended them to friends who are keen to sample these treats! The team at palegreendot are very attentive, professionally friendly with attention to detail.... it’s so nice to feel valued and valuable! They’ve certainly done their stuff sourcing this brilliant produce, with quality at the forefront.

Writing a review as have seen some negative feedback on Instagram so wanted to share my experience - I ordered on the weekend and got my box that week, I was pleasantly surprised at the speed of delivery but would’ve completely understood the delay given the circumstances. I was one of the early orders so it would’ve been good to have had an email confirmation but I just trusted that they had my order (and I think they may have now altered this). I absolutely loved my box and I think they’re a company doing great work supplying delicious fruit and vegetables. Yes there have clearly been a few teething issues, but like many companies they’re on a learning curve with a whole new business model underway, and I look forward to continuing to support this great business.

OK so I've had to come on and delete my previous review as I genuinely believe the customer service issues have been taken on board and the company have listened to their customers.
I ordered my second delivery yesterday and today I have received the most delicious box of veg. The delivery drivers both times have been so nice and then produce of such high quality. Really impressed and only put a 4 due to the first box problems! This time round a definite 5/5!

Amazing fresh veg! I ordered two staples boxes for my mum and nan who were self-isolating and couldn't be happier with the service and I've been informed that the produce was excellent. We're now on a weekly recurring order which means one less thing to worry about during COVID19

Amazing boxes of veg from local producers delivered to your door. These guys do such a brilliant job and went from delivering 40 boxes to over a thousand a day in under week during the Covid-19 crisis. Brilliant staff and great produce. Where they have had struggle delivering, it's only because the demand has exploded. They're brilliant.

So impressed by how much good quality fruit and veg we got for £12.50! The onions and cabbage was huge. Have ordered my second box already.

Excellent quality veg box and friendly service. Incredible for a company that must be operated at 30 x its output before the crisis.
