Do not order on line from this company

I have ordered several item of clothing from Pal Zileri in Italy but unless my current problem is not sorted I shall not be ordering any more.
If you have to return an item to them you are in big trouble. I followed their instructions but the parcel seems to be lost or stranded at Italian customs. Pal Zileri Customer Services do not want to know. They basically say it is your fault as you did not use their return (£25) but only the regular postal service.
This has been going on for over 2 months
Customer Services is very poor as other reviewers say. Each time they ask for the tracking number as if you had not told them before, and then do absolutely nothing. It is common for items bought on line to be returned yet they just don’t want to know.
The experience has been stressful, time consuming and I am over £1000 out of pocket .
Simply not acceptable

Avoid the online store

Avoid their online store like the plague if you are ordering from the UK. Not only do they charge £25 just for creating a return label, but they also add ridiculous unspecified fees and charges once their process your refund. You don't know what those charges beforehand, only once they've processed the refund.

They withheld £89 in those charges (nearly 20% of the total item cost) for my refund.

They won't budge if you raise it with them hiding behind vague T&Cs that they are entitled to withhold unspecified charges, whatever they are.

Instead, use UK retailers that stock the brand or reputable international retailers like Farfetch who process returns for free.

Stay away from this brand

Stay away from this brand! The quality is horrendous. Got a pair of shoes and they broke literally after the first wear.
Got also two polo shirts and after first wash they’re gone.
They are made in China, according to the labels.

Awful experience using their website

Awful experience using their website. The sizes aren't correct starting to think the whole company is a scam. Took 2 weeks to be delivered to the UK. Sandals don't fit and then trying to return the item has been an utter nightmare. There's no returns button on the website when you find the link they send you sends to to Ireland website so of course your order number doesn't work as it's Ireland website. Finally got a returns label from customer services and it doesn't work. Wish I had read the reviews in advance.

Great style and material, but not Made in Italy.

I purchased a silk-cotton Polo as well as a Cotton-Lycocel polo online.

It takes about 7 days for the item to be shipped and another 3 days for DHL to deliver the order, so expect 10 days of delivery all up.

The style of polo shirts are awesome. I have always worn Armani and D&G polos but I like Pal Ziler'is polos much better. The fabrics are also really nice.

The only problem I have is that both polos are Made in China!! I spent about $380 on each polo thinking I was buying an Italian-made piece but they ended up being Chinese-made!

I don't like it that P.Z. does not mention this on their website.

Scamming UK customers

Scam for UK customers! I purchased two items from this brand but I am so upset that I couldn't check the reviews before I made the purchase. I had to return the items because of unsuitable size and they deducted 20% and stopped responding to me altogether! Poor service, horrible customer service targeting UK customers! Avoid at all costs!

Dont Buy On line in U.K. if there is any doubt about keeping an item.

well …. The Customers "services Department is absolutely terrible. An item was required to be returned due to the item being received late and therefore not being needed now. Unable to find the necessary return item button On a guest account so ended up getting in touch with Customer Services. Took a whole week for some contact….but it wasn’t a case of that being the final correspondence…they needed more information to me. It took over 2 weeks to get to the point that I could pack the item up. Immediately took to
Fed Ex drop off point only to be told that the item couldn’t be returned due to digitised certification not being completed. Another query to the Customer Services only not to get a reply. Now stuck with the item as away on holiday as tomorrow. Don’t buy online in U.K…Brexit has messed up returns through customs back to Italy and looking at other feedback, you are totally out of pocket when refunded. Use Harvey Nicks for your purchases.

Reso un incubo

Non sono organizzati per la vendita on Line , se hai sbagliato e devi fare il reso è meglio che vai direttamente nella loro sede , a mio parere sono da evitare .

Servizio clienti inesistente

Servizio clienti inesistente. Il reso contrariamente a quanto riportato sul sito è a spese dell'acquirente. Ho provato a chiedere spiegazioni ma non ho ricevuto risposta.

Pal Zileri customer service is appalling…

Pal Zileri customer service is appalling. I placed an order 24 days ago and I have still not received it. I contacted customer service and they have failed to respond on several occasions, and place the blame on the delivery company. I really like their clothes, but will definitely not use them again due to their lack of regard to their customers.

Avoid Pal Zileri at all costs!

I have had an absolutely terrible experience with Pal Zileri. I used to buy their suits in London and the quality was good. They closed their shops in London after the Covid pandemic so I decided to buy a suit online. Big mistake! The suit I received which was part of the 'tailored line' - supposedly their best line - was really poor quality. Machine-made at best with inferior fabric. I returned the suit to Italy for a refund. Turns out clients have to pay for returns. They made me pay transportation costs twice because they didn't pay custom charges the first time and the package was returned to me. And then they made me pay customs charges to clear the package the second time. I had to pay a total of £300 for a suit that cost £915: 1/3 of the total price! The customer service was dismissive and couldn't care less when I interacted with them. Overall awful experience for a premium brand. Avoid at all cost!
