I ordered a Bosch Series 8 KFF96PIEP…
I ordered a Bosch Series 8 KFF96PIEP fridge freezer from Paul Davies, selecting 1 October as my delivery date. My order was confirmed by email, and £2,000 was taken from my account.
Despite the agreed delivery date arriving, I had received absolutely no communication regarding the status of my delivery. I was therefore forced to contact Paul Davies to find out what had happened. I was then informed that my order had been cancelled because the model had supposedly been “discontinued”.
This explanation is extremely concerning and, based on the information available, appears to be false. The Bosch KFF96PIEP has not been discontinued: it remains widely available from other retailers and continues to form part of Bosch’s current appliance range.
The circumstances strongly suggest that the real reason for cancelling my order was not that the product had been discontinued, but that Bosch had increased its price and Paul Davies had failed to update its website before I placed my order. I purchased the appliance at £2,000, whereas it is now being advertised at approximately £2,500.
If this is what has happened, it is wholly unacceptable. I entered into the purchase in good faith, received an order confirmation, and had £2,000 taken from my account. Rather than honouring the order, Paul Davies appears to have cancelled it after the fact and provided what appears to be a misleading explanation, because the company no longer wished to honour the price at which the order was accepted.
The lack of communication, the failure to deliver on the agreed date, and the subsequent explanation that the product had been “discontinued” have left me with serious concerns about how this order has been handled. I expect a clear and honest explanation of what actually happened, including why my confirmed order was cancelled and why I was told that the model had been discontinued when it remains an active and readily available Bosch product.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are sorry for the frustration and inconvenience caused by the handling of your order, particularly the lack of communication surrounding the cancellation.
We would like to clarify the reason the order could not be fulfilled. We were advised that the Bosch KFF96PIEP had been discontinued and was no longer available to us through our supply chain. The cancellation was not made because of a subsequent price increase or because we were unwilling to honour the price at which your order was placed.
We appreciate that the KFF96PIEP may still be advertised by other retailers. Retailers can hold different stock levels, and a product remaining available elsewhere does not necessarily mean that it remains available for us to order from the manufacturer or our suppliers.
We fully understand why receiving an order confirmation and then not being informed of the issue before the expected delivery date would be disappointing. Our communication in this instance should have been better, and we sincerely apologise for that.
We would never intentionally provide a customer with misleading information. If you would like independent confirmation regarding the status and availability of the KFF96PIEP, Bosch will be able to advise you directly.
Again, we apologise for the inconvenience caused and for not communicating the cancellation to you sooner.

We’re absolutely delighted with our new kitchen from Paul Davies Kitchen & Appliances. The quality of the units and appliances is excellent, and everything feels well made and built to last. Tony, the designer, was fantastic throughout, listening to our ideas and helping us create a kitchen that works perfectly for us. The fitters were professional, friendly and took great care with every detail. The tiler, electrician and plasterer were all excellent, working efficiently and to a very high standard. The whole installation was well organised from start to finish, and we couldn’t be happier with the final result. Highly recommended!

Excellent from sales to delivery and installation
We popped in on Monday knowing we wanted a Bosch washing machine. The sales lady showed us the various models, took us through a tour of the controls, yes it was plugged in :) , then sold us the best one for us at a decent price.
Delivery was 2 days later. It wasn't straightforward due to the kitchen fitter who installed our previous one but they took it in their stride and had it quickly installed and removed the old one.
I tend not to pay for installation but washing machines are so heavy I found installation was well worth the cost.
Both sales and installation people stressed that we should register the warranty which extended it from 2 to 5 years.
We've dealt with them before which is why we went back there.

Great customer service by sue that works in the shop. I had been messed around by Currys so decided to go to Paul Davis where the customer service was miles better than Currys and I bought a new fridge freezer and a washing machine. No issues with the delivery. I would recommend going to this store it’s a 5 stars from me.

After being let down by another company on ordering my new stove that never came, I cancelled the order, went on the internet and found Paul Davies Kitchens, in Bolton, I went on a Saturday, was impressed with the showroom, within half an hour of entering they ordered the range master I wanted, told me it would be end of July, I was willing to wait, price included fitting, and taking away old cooker. The staff in the showroom brilliant, I dealt with Alan, but chatting with other members of staff, all friendly and made you feel comfortable. On Friday the 31st Gary and Dave delivered my range, installed and took away my old cooker they where supper professional and friendly, what a great experience with this company from beginning to end, highly recommend and would definitely use them again

Ordered online but unfortunately the model of oven I ordered was at the shop so could not be delivered to the NE of Scotland. However I was offered a selection of alternative ovens at attractive prices which could be delivered from the manufacturer direct. Staff were helpful and efficient. Oven was delivered on time by friendly and efficient delivery staff.

Speedy SuperStars you can trust!
The team from Paul Davies arrived at 0950 approx on the day of the day of delivery we had arranged. Talk about SuperStars! They were efficient, personable and flipping quick. No fuss, no mess, in-and-out in double-quick time. Old appliance removed, shiny, quiet new one installed and up-and-running as I type. And then they were on their way to the next lucky customer on their list.
Paul Davies was recommended to me by a colleague at the hospital where I volunteer. (I owe you Flower!). I'm going to need a fridge freezer and an oven soon. I now know which company I can trust to accomodate my requirements. To shop local and recommended really is best.

Can't recommend enough
We were expertly looked after by Ella, who planned our kitchen beautifully. We walked round the kitchens, appliances and sat until not only we were happy but she was too. Absolutely no pressure. I also spoke to Lucy who was superb and very professional with the documents I needed to sign and send
The install was seemless, the lads were fantastic and a credit to the company.
Ella has changed a dark kitchen into a stunning light usable space.
