I ordered an expensive item on line from Peter Alexander and it never arrived. They have continuously just ignored my pleas for support. Nobody responds. PETER ALEXANDER ON LINE IS A SCAM COMPANY DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE

I ordered online in the UK to this branch, and as soon as I got the confirmation email, I noticed the system had overwritten my details and used my old address that is over 200km away. I contacted the team immediately, who said they could not do anything and to just wait for the item to be returned. The item could not be redirected by the courier's company by me, as I was not their client/sender, and if I redirected it to a local store, they would not take responsibility. So I left it for the package to be rejected, but of course it has been delivered to who knows, as the photo they sent me of proof is just someone's feet and a box. Now no one is taking reposabiliyt and I'm just left with a creditcard bill and no goods

Awful experience. Purchased some Christmas pyjamas in the sale, and a sleeping mask which was nice (albeit a bit cheap) which made my eyes hurt after 10 mins so had to take it off. Their returns policy states items must be brand new with tags so I queried if I was still eligible to return due to the inaccurate sizing. Received a cut and copy response from their returns policy which I’d already read online. I responded to say that didn’t answer my question, and I got a very rude response from “Joanne” who seemed more intent on proving her colleague right rather than answering my question.
Anyway after some clarification she told me the return had been authorised to I posted back-at my cost (which company doesn’t do free returns in 2026?) InPost called me today as he couldn’t find the building, he was driving around the large industrial estate but Peter Alexander won’t giveaway which unit they are in, so now parcel hasn’t been delivered as there’s no way of finding out which unit to take it to! Disaster of an experience, I would not recommend this company!!

I’ve purchased a number of items from Peter Alexander before and the quality is definitely getting worse.
I purchased summer pjs for my daughter. She wore them 4 times and were washed separately and never dried in the dryer.
The seams came apart and the company refused to replace them. They claim due to the time that had past. 9 months I explained that they were only worn a few times and as they were summer pjs and most of that period was winter. No luck.
Very disappointing experience given the cost and a clear lack of quality.
Will be shopping elsewhere from now on.

Appalling customer service. Bought a pair of slippers fell apart within 2 weeks and because I bought instore they said I had to take them back to that store. Despite that being in London and me living in Devon. They just didn't want to know.

I was sent the wrong candle back in…
I was sent the wrong candle back in August, when I contacted to tell them they asked me to send it back so they could send a replacement.
I sent it back, heard nothing and received no further candle so then contacted them again in the last few weeks ago to request a full refund. They advised I needed to wait for a further 21 days.
Don’t order from this website- they will send you the incorrect product and then refuse to refund you, it is really terrible.

Would rate it 0 stars if I could. Having come across this brand during my trip to Australia, I purchased a few items from the UK online website. Unfortunately, I never received my package due to what I assume was a mix up in the delivery. Tracking showed the package had been delivered to my address with GPS verification, however, picture captured as proof showed it being delivered to a different house with a different coloured door to mine.
I messaged customer service and received an unnecessarily hostile and cold response from someone called ''Alan'' claiming that people were committing fraud and implying I was as well, therefore they would not do anything unless I contacted the police ( which in itself is a very lengthy process and honestly, something which Peter Alexander themselves should be investigating with the courier first ) . They wanted a crime reference number and a denial of receipt form to be filled before they would even bother acknowledging my issues- which is a lot of holes to jump through just to be heard, particularly if you have a busy job, let alone other commitments. I am currently in hospital receiving treatment, and as you can imagine this is a particularly difficult time. A little humanity being shown by the company would have been greatly appreciated considering it is their own problem, yet it was thrown back in my face like I was a criminal.
The customer service was an extremely horrible one to go through, and having reluctantly contacted the police ( didn't really want to waste their valuable time chasing such a weird case?) and explaining my issue they simply laughed at the matter and said Peter Alexander should be ashamed of themselves and perhaps they were the ''shady'' company. They said unfortunately wait time would be long as they have more important issues which I understand, but in the meantime I should let the public be aware in any way possible so here I am. Still no refund, nothing willing to be done on their end and a terrible service.
Very poor customer service
The staff at the west lakes store were more interested in their conversation than paying attention to a customer. No greeting or offering to help. Was looking to purchase for a birthday gift, ending up walking out after 5 minutes.

Appalling UK online services
Looks like there's enough people all over the world having the same terrible experience, I've had with the UK branch for online shopping. They ask loads of money for some products you can easily find on your £5 shop. They advertise for "posh" wrappings and they send you a plastic bag. And when you want to get some answers, they hire people like Alan Kerry, who doesnt give a rotten apple for your needs, and not only that he is treating you with rudeness, but also ignoring(probably blocking) any emails with the pictures containing the proof of their lousy services. Appalling.... 1 star is too generous...
