Piñata app is a great way to earn rewards while paying for rent. As a person who travels a lot, it’s nice to get rewards while moving and renting.

I love the piñata app is gifted me so many fun things and also helps my credit. Customer service is great if there’s ever any issues, they help very promptly and are very courteous.

Pinata is such a great app, very easy to use and has great rewards and programs. I love that my rent payments are reported on my credit report. It's the biggest bill I have each month so being able to boost my credit score for something I'm already doing is excellent! Highly recommend this app, I've had it for almost 2 years and love it!

Claims to report rent to the credit bureaus. I've never seen it actually work. Claims to give rewards, but every single one of the actual "buy for points" items change and increase point cost to just outside of my current balance every month. Costs me an extra, forced $40/month through my leasing company for.....nothing? This is just information collecting junk.

I had an account with them which was offered by my property manager and they had to have my ss# and birthdate to report to credit bureau. After years of paying rent on time, it was never reported to credit bureau and they blamed my property management (Willamette meadows), said they didn’t follow through with something on their end. The only thing piñata did for me was offer me junk that I still don’t have enough points for. When I tried to close my account, they said they couldn’t do it, again, Willamette meadows would have to do something on their end. That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. Seems like a scam to me. And watch out for Willamette Meadows property management, they’re horrible!

Honestly my last landlord intorduced us to Piñata but even now that our property owners have changed, we chose to keep piñata. I’m already paying rent! Why not have it affect my credit positively? They have great rewards, a simple point system, and give aways like free rent that you can win. They have partnerships like Regal theaters where you get points plus up to 80% off. Honestly paying rent is something you have to do anyways. I suggest making it count and trying Piñata. Their customer service has been helpful and quick to respond as well when my landlord reported the wrong rent to them. They even back reported missed months for free.

I truly love the app. It is awesome. Love the prizes and perks and all of the discounts. I just absolutely love it.

I have been a member of Piñata for well over 3 years now! I love adding up points for items and the free giveaways as well! Credit builder has been a helpful thing as well! Put in the way you pay your rent and it helps build your credit!! Definitely one of the best apps out there!! Never getting rid of it! Give it a try and you will not regret this!

As the title says, I saw a difference in my credit score. However, the rewards they have are absolutely horrible. Even if you get an alert for a decent gift card, like a $5 Dunkin card, the app will freeze when you try to log in to claim it, because it can’t handle all of the people trying to log in. Anything decent is usually sold out in 3 minutes, and they’re pretty rare. I was fortunate enough to catch a $15 Sephora e-gift card that I put aside for later use. Apparently, the gift cards you purchase with your points have to be “claimed” within 3 months. Then once it’s claimed, you have 6 months to use it. I got a rude awakening when I went to go use my card, and I found out it was canceled. I was pretty confident redeeming my points for the gift card would be enough to “claim it”. Of course, this is all written in their FAQ, but who would think an e-gift card should expire? Pretty silly. They offered to refund my points back as a one time courtesy, but to use towards what, I don’t know. Their options are terrible.

So far I’ve had two encounters with their customer service team. They are quick to respond and friendly. Both of my concerns were answered in a timely manner.

Great app. You get coins for paying rent. I have been using this app almost 2 years and it certainly has made paying rent fun.

I’ve been using Piñata and my credit has increased by over 60 points, just for paying my rent on-time. I appreciate the rewards system for making sure my rent is done on time each month. Unlike other rent-reporting services that charge fees, Piñata offers a free version that still provides some credit reporting benefits.

Been using the app for a couple years now. Very easy to use and great rewards to choose from. Love the fact that my ontime rent payments are reported towards my credit.
