After visiting platinum lace on Coventry street this evening I am nothing short of amazed, once again the ladies were the most beautiful I’ve experienced in and outside of London… I’d like to say a special thank you to my hostess Louise for impeccable service and making my stay one of the best nights I’ve had in London to date… I’ll definitely be returning in the near future. The best lap dancing club in London for sure. ;)

My wife and I hadn't been to Platinum Lace for over ten years, but on a rare night out we decided to visit, it's changed a lot in ten years.
Upon approaching the club we found the door staff to be very polite and he clearly explained the costs for going in. £20 each person to go in and put coats/bags in the cloak room. Then it was a choice of £50 each to sit at around the stage, but this also included a couple of drinks, i think he said 3 drinks each or it might have been 4, or it was £10, to stand at the bar. We opted for the stage area and once we'd put our items in the cloak room and paid the entry fee, we were shown to seats right next to the stage. A waitress then came over with drinks menus, which I thought were fairly reasonably priced for a London club. We were asked to pay £100, for both of us and then she came back for our drinks order, we had Monkey 47 gin and tonic at £18 each,a bottle was around £200 but glasses were roughly this price but this was covered in the £100 already paid. Throughout the evening, we were there 2ish hours the waitress very politely came over to ask if we wanted another drink and there was no requirement to suddenly have to pay more, obviously until we'd used our initial payment up. The drinks were fine and not watered down, I believe beer was around £6.50 bottle and bottles of gin etc were around £150 upwards.
We were sat right next to the stage and unfortunately the girls on there really didn't look very happy or even smiling if you caught their eye, there was nothing to really encourage you to want to chat or pay more to them as they did look pretty miserable.
One of the girls came over to chat and we all got on well, she was very chatty and after around ten minutes she explained the pricing in a private room, £300 for 30 minutes or £600 for 1 hour, there was no mention of just a lap dance where we were and to be honest I was pretty surprised about how much the pricing was, but perhaps we were just very out of touch with it all now. We had taken some cash with us, but nowhere near enough to cover these prices. There is a cash machine that charges you £5 to use, but you can still only withdraw up to your limit. You can pay so much cash and so much on a card machine, but you get hit hard with using the card machine, they did explain the charges, but I was still pretty shocked at how much it was anyway. The dancer we were chatting to suggested we could have two girls in a private room for 30 minutes at £300 each and she recommended her friend. We said to come back later so we could just have a drink and to be fair after her friend came over for a brief chat they didn't keep coming back until around an hour later. Being after midnight the machine let us withdraw the remaining funds we needed to pay for 2 dancers for half hour.
The room they took us to was clean and tidy, but the music/TV system they used was pretty poor. After they asked us what music we liked they put it on and danced around us stripping off, but then the music finished and adverts came on, which completely threw the dancers off their stride, whilst they had to stop to find other music. This then allowed for more chit chat whilst they got going again and we weren't there to chat. In all honesty the £600 dance wasn't worth that much, we felt it was an expensive strip tease, with nothing more like a lap dancing, with the music keep stopping it felt like it never really got started which was very disappointing. Towards the end of the half hour a woman came in to ask how we had liked the dance, perhaps we should have said we weren't too impressed, but to be polite we said it was fine. She asked if we would like to pay for a further half hour, but after being initially disappointed we weren't going to pay for more time at £600. She asked again to confirm and we declined again, so we said our goodbyes and left the club. We felt that had the dances been more reasonably priced we would have stayed longer and had more dances, but for us at least it was an expensive experience that was a bit lack lustre. But that aside the staff were very polite and courteous, with no hint of feeling that we were going to be hit with hidden pricing and the club was pretty busy but tidy.

A great spot for that lads weekend. My mates & I were blowing away. Would love to bring the wife....I had a private VIP DANCE £380 for 30 mins. Awesome spot with beautiful girls, breasts were so sexy & lingerie was amazing. Pressed all right buttons. Can't wait to get back and bring my wife.

Stunning friendly girls, reasonable prices, quality entertainment, only gentlemans club in Norwich I’ll go to! Every other one is a waste of time and money, but Platinum is worth every penny and more.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Visited late Sunday night , last min decision I wish I’d never made, front desk cloakroom girl was very friendly took my jacket and entry fee, up the stairs and met by waitress who showed me to a seat and took my drinks order, I’d just got my drink about 5 mins later had not even reached over to pick it up seconds after getting it and 2 girls descended on me , chatty at first , usual pleasantries, then pushed for VIP immediately , I explained I’d just arrived (they knew that,), but they pushed and pushed saying good deal, and good prices promising the world of usual BS to get me to go through, so I said ok and was taken next door , immediately advised £160 for 15 mins dance with them both , I said I didn’t have that on me, and she asked what I had , forcing me to show them what I had in cash, as I didn’t have a card on me currently (it was in the car), so then it came down to what I had remaining , which was about £100 so they pushed for £100again, I said no too much for that the second I’d arrived , then it dropped to £80 (£40 each) at that point I thought we’ll it’s not bad for 15 mins for 2 girls dancing. Why not that’s why I came here in the first place), fast forward less than 6 mins and a song and a half ….she whispers that was the warm up and asks for another £160 for VIP, suddenly my dance is over and it’s not even past the second tune (which are all about 3 mins each), when I say I don’t have money to VIP they walk me back to the bar area and go away to other guys, I go back to my seat in shock and disbelief of what’s just happened, (some dudes in my seat now) so I move to the next seat and just park my backside down and another girl comes over asks me why I look sad, I tell her (the above) she blanks that and pipes in she will give me VIP for 30mins for £100, I am honest with her I have £20 left and my card is in the car , plus after being bumped for what was meant to be 15 mins that ended in under 7, — without a word she gets up and walks away. I decide to leave and after trying to find the cloakroom girl (whos outside having a smoke ) she is very nice again asks me why I am going so suddenly, bear in mind I have been in the -lace less than 20 mins including about 5 mins chatting to her on arrival and a few mins waiting on my drink…. She’s sorry to hear that the girls did that and wants to help, calls the floor manager who comes down but does nothing ,, says they charged me right for the dances and palms me off with VIP passes…not a single word said, nothing about the lies and Bs they girls are conning clients to rip them off and protected by bouncers that will smash ur teeth in if you so much as look at them wrong, this club is a disgrace to Glasgow, the floor/carpets were sticky with god knows how many years of drinks spilled and it was not the raved up place with website suggests, the fact their manager lets them deceive customers like this and doesn’t enforce any rules on them is disgusting….. I left feeling humiliated and like a total idiot having been lied to and used , in a club where I should have been treated like a customer not a quick cash steal and mocking bird……. I won’t ever EVER step foot near that place again , totally unacceptable, begs to question if they permit this openly what more is going on behind these rooms because from what was suggested to me in what they class as VIP then it’s little more than cesspit.

I have been thinking about my experience here and I can honestly say it was time of my life. I spent loads of time with summer and she was the best stripper I’ve ever encountered. I’ve been everywhere, all over the world and she always manages to please me the way no one else can. Please tell her papi is grateful and I hope she is doing good. I’ll be back soon 😉

Amongst a plethora of places i have visited this year for fun and entertainment, i had the most amazing moment of them all at platinum lace. The strippers are spectacular 👌🏾 and i had fabulous experience. I'm coming again.

This place is not what you expect. They put on the pole a dancer that really doesn’t have a clue. The women they have there are mostly young and inexperienced and the drinks are a disgusting price. £100 for a 15 min dance when realistically they’re terrible.
You can haggle but probably best to just go to a better place. The door staff and male staff are wannabe robocops and also like to watch the dances you’ve paid for!!!! Yep they’re getting free kicks.
Best advice, stay clear

I mainly visit the London branch just off Leicester Square. Always a fun night to be had. Very different from other gentlemen's clubs, as its more club atmosphere like strip bar.
