Have been a 'repeat' customer for a number of years, which must tell you something. I can't fault the service I have received from Policywave, easy renewal process, open and transparent about pricing and fees, competivite (not the cheapest), but when dealing with a claim on my behalf they were exceptional. As a driving instructor that was vitally important to me and my business. I would highly recommend Policywave.

How refreshing, I had to speak to about 6 different people, and each one spoke proper English, from an English call centre. My calls were answered really quickly, without being put on hold for long, and without having to go through endless button press selections. staff were polite and friendly.

I left a review recently and Policywave responded very quickly undermining my review and suggesting that I, as the customer cannot shop around for a better price even though they give a cooling off period, that includes a cancellation fee and a possible wait of upto 30 days for a refund
Be careful with this company
they replied to this review in lightning time, stating my refund has been issued!! I have had no refund...

We queried why you decided to shop around after taking our policy, bearing in mind you felt "the price quoted was reasonable" We made clear in our original response to your review that we were happy that you managed to find it lower, but that (as made clear to you on the call you took the policy out on) that the cooling off period does not preclude us from charging a cancellation fee. Your original review stated that the refund "would take" 30 days and this was not what was conveyed to you. It was conveyed to you that it could take "up to" 30 days (and this was also made clear on the original response to your review).
Thank you for acknowledging this in your latest review.
We later updated our response on the original review to say that the refund had actually been issued 4 days after instructions to cancel were received, which we made clear was updated just to offer a balance approach. It doesn’t mean that this will appear immediately within your account. This is because despite us sending it to your bank immediately we can’t tell you how quickly your bank pay it to you (and you then seeing it in your account),
Since posting our response, you have decided to delete the original 2* post and downgrade it to a 1*, because you believe that this underminded your review.
To be clear we respond to all reviews as quickly as possible, good or bad. Our response did not undermine your review, we offered a balanced response to it.

Great experience staff amazing

Good price but chasing me for business looks bad.
Unlike many insurance companies, they found a quote cheaper than last year which was definitely a relief to see. However once the quote had been delivered with several different options on how to proceed, I received at least 10 phone calls from the customer team, all leaving voicemails asking if I could call them about renewal. It felt like it was bordering on harassment. I understand they are chasing business but that level of chasing is completely unnecessary when there are several options already available for payment in the renewal email.

As an ADI, I highly value clear communication and reliable policies. Having been a happy customer with Policy Wave for two excellent years previously, returning reminded me why their service is unmatched—they truly go out of their way to help you.
I recently faced a major hurdle with my current insurer, who imposed strict and rigid restrictions preventing my husband from driving until he held his license for 5 years. When I explained this dilemma to Jayden Grant, he went above and beyond. Not only did he secure a cheaper quotation that beat my current insurer's price, but he also explained that Policy Wave’s terms are much more flexible, requiring only a 1-year license holding for social, domestic, and pleasure use.
The customer service was outstanding. As a working mum, multitasking is a given, and when my baby started crying mid-call, Jayden was remarkably patient, calm, and understanding, giving me the time I needed to tend to her. I am absolutely delighted to be back with Policy Wave!
